A2Z Music Factory

g suggestions when we didn't know exactly what we should be doing. He gave the best suggestions for songs (e.g., he decided "Hot for Teacher" would be a great intro song for my bridesmaid who is a teacher and was giving a speech; it made her laugh out loud and dissipate the nerves she was feeling). Everyone was dancing all night and said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. He went above and beyond in so many ways - in helping us secure rentals like draping, in asking us if we needed anything several times throughout the night, and in making sure we had a fantastic time. We feel very grateful we booked him for our big day and would highly recommend to everyone!

preciated) Every moment of the night was on our timeline. Through our meetings with him prior to our wedding, we helped us create an overall timeline and helped us make sure no music, moment, or person that we wanted to include was left out. Our venue also didn't allow sparklers, and A2Z supplied us with fiberoptic wands for our exit and last group dance on the dance floor which led to some great and memorable photos and moments. A2Z made every moment memorable and perfect on our perfectly memorable day. :) We paid for backdrop behind our sweetheart table, 7 hours of DJ with three set ups (Ceremony, cocktail, and Ballroom), and a photo booth. It included unlimited communication with our dj and meetings. (some places let you email but not call or meet more than a certain number of times.)

me as I asked dozens of questions. We immediately planned a pre-planning meeting/orientation to discuss how our vision, venue, and budget could be aligned with their capabilities, availability, and experience. When we walked out of that meeting, we knew that we wouldn’t be happy with anyone else. We had a very specific vision for our wedding, complete with specialty lighting, pipe and draping, DJ services, light-up bar rental, and a photo booth. All of these requests were made complicated by the strict timing constraints of our venue and the logistics of the space, but John was steadfast in his confidence that he and the team could not only deliver, but also exceed all of our expectations. Every follow-up meeting we had, John and Carrie delivered. Their planning and attention to detail was exceptional, asking all of the right questions to ensure that they had accounted for all of our wants, needs, and expectations. They thought of absolutely everything, down to the pronunciation of names and the timing of introduction songs. Like most brides, the day of our wedding was incredibly stressful. When we arrived at our venue, all of the vendors were still setting up and I noticed that the pipe and draping was not going according to plan. On the verge of a stress-induced sob session, John came over, calmly discussed the issue, and assured me that by the time I saw the space again, all would be well. As I was ushered to the bridal room, I could hear John talking to his staff about the changes that he came up with on the spot. Fast forward to the ceremony and reception and I discovered that John had kept his promise: all was well. The venue had been transformed into our exact vision with no sign that anything had been previously amiss. John amped up our guests as he announced us, our families, and our wedding party and seamlessly transitioned us into the first dances. He ensured that my husband and I were first to be served drinks and dinner, that we always had what we needed, and perhaps most importantly, that the dance floor was THE place to be all night. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for more from John and Carrie. Yet, we did… Our brunch reservations for the following day fell through and I sent an SOS text to John asking if he had space at his bar, B Live. Within ten minutes, his bar manager had texted me confirming a reservation for all 20 of us. The food was delicious, Eloise was so kind, and the brunch shot tasted like dessert. If you need any of the services that A2Z provides, I cannot recommend them enough. They helped turn our big day into the magical night that we had envisioned and we are immensely grateful.

ions, and provided an easy template for us to plan out our song choices. He was available for multiple planning sessions, which was very reassuring! He also made sure we had his phone number so that we could contact him with any last-minute questions or changes. On our wedding day, John was an incredibly calming presence. He was extremely attentive during our formal dances, and was able to interpret my slightest nods to start/stop a song. We scheduled our day so that all dancing would be after dinner, so that we wouldn’t need to stop the party for food or announcements. John read the vibes of the room perfectly, and kept the songs upbeat all night - I don’t think I left the dance floor once! John is the epitome of professionalism - he has clearly had tons of experience at weddings and it showed in how smoothly our day went. Our music was on point, the uplighting was beautiful, and our sparkler exit was a huge hit - our day was absolutely perfect. I would absolutely recommend A2Z - John, thank you so much for playing such an important role in our day!

p with wireless mics and music, music during cocktail hour, and music and lighting during our reception. John ensured our day went smoothly. Leading up to our event, he met with us multiple times to go over song selections for all the different moments of our big day. We could not be more thankful for John and loved that he got to be part of our big day.

ght. He even asked ua multiple times If we would like a drink. He kept the timeline flowing. He workwd very well with pur pianist and saxophonist for the ceremony. I would definitely recommend John Howard as your next DJ because he was top notch. I interviewed many DJs. I had many friends and family join this telephone interview and he was so patient with us. He really impressed us all and matched our energy. Thank you John for making our night so special.

it a week or two before our rescheduled wedding. On top of that I fell seriously ill in the beginning of 2021 so my husband and I had a lot on our plate the year leading up to our rescheduled wedding date, 12/27/21. John made the whole process easy and as stress free as possible. He was beyond kind and supportive of us the whole way through. Always asking what he could do for us. Always making us laugh during planning meetings. The weekend of our wedding our wedding planner and day of coordinator both got COVID and could not come. John stepped up and pretty much took over coordinating and doing whatever he could do to help. My body was also starting to fail the day of the wedding. Again, John was there for us. Our family and friends all loved him and had the best time dancing. By the end of the night I was dancing with my husband while in a wheelchair and wearing my sweats. It was absolutely perfect. John even made a special surprise slideshow for our first dance. It was the best first dance and it was also my last first dance on my own two feet. 3 weeks after the wedding I found out I need my right leg amputated. John doesn't know how special that dance was for my husband and I. There isn't a single negative thing I can say about John and his team. They are worth every single penny. We will always remember John and he will always hold a special place in our hearts.

caring and helpful throughout the process and on the wedding day. John always checked in with us to make sure we were doing ok and had everything we needed. He had everyone dancing all night and our ceremony music was flawless.

ly awesome at reading the crowd! She was a huge hit and made our wedding perfect! Great value and everything went perfectly - we highly recommend going with A2Z Music Factory for your lighting/AV/DJ needs!

eakers, uplighting and a sparkler exit. They offer even more than that too. What I didn't know when I initially booked them was who our DJ would be. Our DJ ended up being Steve Perez, and he was perfect for our wedding! Steve and I had a couple of calls before our wedding day and went through every detail of the wedding. He was immediately easy-going and open to ideas and songs that he hadn't heard before. He offered me advice and got to know our personal tastes to know which direction to go with the reception. I made some last minute changes during the week of the wedding and he accommodated them without question. During the ceremony, we had an unexpected event that changed the whole flow/timeline. Steve adapted quickly and well. Steve recommended and made changes, communicated well with the team, me, and my party, and took a lot of the burden off of me so I could enjoy the day. He was energetic throughout the reception and kept the dancing going! He checked in with us during the whole day to see if he could do anything for us - in addition to his DJing. Steve is an absolute gem and you definitely want him as part of your team. He worked hard and truly supported us on our big day. He was definitely one of my favorite vendors to work with.

in case guests couldn’t join at the tail end of the pandemic. We were SO glad we ended up adding them – they were one of our favorite vendors, and one of the ones we got the most compliments on. They hosted an extremely professional Zoom livestream of the ceremony (mic’d quartet, wedding party, etc.; set up various camera angles) and even pulled us in right afterward so that we could talk with our virtual guests. Even better, they sent us the recording of the livestream so we have video of the ceremony.

night!

ay. He had great communication and reached out frequently to finalize our details. On the day of, he arrived early to set up and was ready to go when our guests started arriving. We hired him to handle our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. During the reception, we only had 23 guests, and he still managed to give us a great atmosphere and kept the energy up. He helped our venue decorate the reception tent BEAUTIFULLY. His lighting added so much to the environment and we couldn't have been happier. I didn't realize how much of the timeline he would run vs our coordinator. He was great at keeping us on track and announcing what would come next. He was also great at adjusting on the fly as our guests decided to do things out of order and he'd need to queue up music sooner than expected. At the grand exit, he provided lightup wands that our guests adored waving at us. I can't wait to see the pictures when they are ready. He really was a dream to work with. Even our guests came to us throughout the event to say how much they loved John and the music. I hope we have another event one day that requires a DJ since now we have one to call.

peccable for those who couldn’t join us in person. And I’m thrilled that he recorded it so my husband & I can watch it whenever we’d like. Thank you, Brandon & team!

r wedding and he kept the party going (even through a covid wedding). We was so helpful along the way with making music decisions. A2Z also provided our ceremony and cocktail hour on top of reception, as well as Photo Booth, dancing on a clouds dance for our 1st and last dance, and sparkler exit. They provide so many things it's a one stop shop!! They are great entertainers and we had so many compliments on our DJ!

look no further. No one will work harder to ensure your event’s success than John and his team. NO ONE! From set up to tear down, from the beginning to the end, you will be impressed. State of the art equipment with unmatched skills is the recipe for an event you won't forget. Wedding drapery, backdrop, pin spots, indoor and outdoor firework sparkles, monogram on the dance floor- WE HAD IT ALL BECAUSE OF JOHN. John is the best DJ ever!!! He made the wedding flow and added pure magic to our day! He is truly passionate about what he does, he is easygoing, friendly, and his attention to detail is sublime! Our wedding was so much fun, our guests are still raving about the music and atmosphere! Omg, the photo booth was a hit. All their equipment is top notch. John also provided an additional Zoom service for people who couldn’t join us because of the pandemic. The whole set up was pure perfection. He exceeded all of our expectations. He blew our minds off. If you are having an event, kick it up a notch and call John. My highest recommendation! Literally from A to Z, sit back and relax and get it all covered!!!

erez. When we met with Steve in person, he was super warm, very down to earth, and lively, and he carried that energy throughout our entire reception. He spoke both English and Spanish throughout the event so that my family from abroad could follow along with the entire event, and his enthusiasm was contagious, which made him a stellar emcee. He was also fabulous at getting – and keeping! - everyone on the dance floor, which is exactly what we hoped would happen. We’re so glad we worked with A2Z and Steve in particular, and we highly recommend them if you’re hoping that your wedding will become a great dance party!

iful wedding venue and when it down poured an hour before the wedding the staff used their own shirts to shield the table set up from getting destroyed. Above and beyond doesn't even begin to cover the level of service John and his staff provided. In addition to a beautiful set up, they made it so the original 200 guests could be a part of the wedding via zoom through two 72in TVs facing the ceremony. When the bride and groom looked out, in addition to the intimate family gathering, they could see the faces of all their friend's and family celebrating with them from afar. I can't say enough about how amazing and integral John and his staff were in making this day absolutely perfect. Every detail was well thought out and planned. They had a true team effort in making this such a great experience. From start to finish, I couldn't have better things to say about A2Z.

nt above and beyond to make our day the best ever. Before the party even started, John was there early helping to make sure the sound was perfect for my ceremony and then he moved on to completely transform the ballroom for the reception. He added the perfect amount of uplighting, showcasing our beautiful flowers and cake, he also surprised us with a white backdrop for our Kings Table. While John was helping keeping the flow of the night, from introductions to the grand exit, Carrie helped manage the photo-booth which was a huge hit!! We are beyond grateful for how much A2Z did for us and we highly recommend them to anyone who is planning their big day.

the venue, was on schedule throughout the event, played great music, and was able to supply all of our requested music for the pivotal moments of our wedding. Dan is someone that likes to communicate over the phone, which was cumbersome as I’m someone who prefers email, but he was really proactive on this front in that he sometimes called a few minutes after I sent the email! I would recommend Dan for events in the future.

we wanted and our wedding vision and helped us make that a reality. He listened to what kind of music we wanted to play during different stages of the wedding (they did our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception) and the kind of atmosphere we wanted at our reception and delivered on both accounts. We had an amazing party- people are still talking about how great of a time they had at our wedding and it’s 2 months later! We also used their uplights which helped set the party mood and the photo booth service and that was a blast as well! Our guests loved it and we had fun getting in there ourselves! John also suggested we play the newlywed game during our reception and we are so glad we did! It was hilarious and our guests loved it! Thank you John for making our wedding day absolutely perfect!

ugh our needs and with my father and his slideshow that he wanted. The only hitch is that they are a bit slow to respond, so you need to make sure to follow-up with them.

d reception for us. He was so easy to work with and went above-and-beyond in all things executed. John and his team provided us with DJ services, draping, up-lighting, and John himself was like a coordinator during the day-of (even standing by our table to make sure no one talked to us while we ate!). We decided on having draping and lit trees for our ceremony to create a winter-wonderland feel (and giving us breath-taking photos), and then had them flip the room to create a romatic candle-lit reception. Everything was executed perfectly. I knew the by selecting to work with John and his team, there would be nothing to worry about during our ceremony and reception. We were not disappointed. Everyone who attended our wedding has expressed how absolutely magical everything was, and that the music and experience made it the best wedding they had ever been to. We weren't going to do any type of special exit, but John suggested a sparkler exit, then proceeded to set it up, provide all of the materials, and even photographed our sparkler exit for us, giving us absolutely breathtaking photos and memories. To add to all of this, towards the end of the wedding I was not feeling well, and John called me the next day to see how I was feeling. Truly I could not say enough to fully express how amazing the service and execution of everything was. John and his team are a one-stop-shop and they truly made our dream wedding come true. I will recommend them again and again.

quest songs and put all of the information in for your entrances and special first dances. I can honestly say that people were on the dance floor ALL night. He did a great job of selecting music choices to keep people up and having a great time the entire night. Dan even helped my sister incorporate some music into her MOH speech. I would highly recommend A2Z music factory.

lped keep the energy in the room alive and he worked so well with all of my other vendors. I cannot begin to thank him for the great job he did!! Be sure to book him or his team for your big day/event, you will love him!

over the wedding ceremony program as well as the reception order - in great detail! John even had a call with me the week of the wedding to finalize details and run through things to make sure everything was perfect! He helped me pull off a surprise for my now husband - singing him a song at the reception for him. Our guests are still commenting on how they loved the music selection for open dancing! A2Z Music Factory went above and beyond in making our day absolutely perfect - I have zero regrets about any of it!

y of songs was endless. He was so flexible and kept the event moving. If you are looking for a DJ for your event hire Dan, you won't go wrong.

p-notch. Not only do they provide a DJ service that is simply the best in the business, but they also made the entire evening an unforgettable experience. I can't tell you how many times my guests told me, both on the dance floor and the weeks following, that we had the BEST DJ they had ever experienced at a wedding. Despite having a small wedding (only 80 guests), nearly every single person was dancing the entire night. The energy was perfect from start to finish, and we ended up with a fun sparkler exit orchestrated by A2Z Music Factory's team. It was the most magical way to end the day!! We had John take care of the music for the ceremony and the reception, and we are so happy we did. Not only did he help us immensely while we picked songs for the day (it can be harder than you think!), he also gave us suggestions to make the day flow smoothly. We can't thank him enough for taking the time to listen to what we wanted in the day, advise us on what would work best and then execute it flawlessly. They also provide a list of other services in addition to being a DJ, and it makes the planning process so much easier!! We ended up adding cantina lights over the dance floor, uplights and pin spots for the cake, and we loved how they added to the atmosphere of the evening. And I've worked with their team before and witnessed some of the other amazing production projects they've worked on, and it blows away any other team! They really know how to take an event and take it to the next level. And I have to say, the level of service on our actual wedding day was unparalleled. John and Carrie checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. They also worked seamlessly with our other vendors, which meant we could truly relax and enjoy all of the moments! If you're looking for the best in the business, this is it!! No matter what you could possibly want for your wedding, John and his team will make it happen. And it will be even better than you imagine!

n he arrange the perfect playlist for you and your guests, he will go the extra mile to ensure your vision is accomplished in all aspects of your wedding celebration. Next, Carrie and her photo booths are an extra touch to make your celebration a fun and memorable event. Our guests could not stop talking about the fun we had with them at the photo booth. Lastly, true professionalism the whole way! The team met with us for script reviews, photo background and font selection, and met anything wenprivately three their way to surprise one another. These guys were the backbone to our event!!!

and decades of experience in this industry, but the incredible passion and dedication that John and his crew have to customizing and going above and beyond to make sure every tiny little detail is perfect. They are so hard working and will go the extra mile to make sure you are having the best time of your life! A2Z has a ton of wedding experience and they work with couples who know exactly what they want, or work with people like us who really didn’t know where to start. They invited us to their office in Sterling and walked us through ideas, helping us envision all the things, from games to lighting to décor, that they could offer to help make our wedding day unforgettable for us and our families and friends. A2Z proved that they can do just about anything, and do it flawlessly. We had an Indian wedding ceremony and we were in absolute awe when we saw the final product of a breathtaking Mandap that their team built from scratch. For our Baraat, they provided mobile speakers for the procession. They did all the sound for the ceremony (outdoors) and the reception (indoors). The lighting they provided for the reception was gorgeous, and the spotlights helped turn people’s attention to the specific events taking place, whether it was entrances, dances, speeches, or the cake-cutting. A2Z organized our reception grand entrances, and made sure our families and friends had a blast, whether they were into dancing, games, or photos! They set up and manned a photobooth, and even a pavilion with tons of games. They also coordinated a beautiful exit for us by organizing the guests to create a tunnel of sparklers and provided sandboxes for safe disposal. We had no wedding planner and rehearsal, but everything was executed perfectly thanks to the A2Z crew.

planning process he listened to what we wanted, offered suggestions, and put together an AWESOME playlist for the event. Our dance floor was packed all night and I had several guests ask if they could get a copy of the playlist! John also offers and AWESOME package that includes a sendoff of your choice - the fiber optic wands were a great alternative to sparklers and were a fun takeaway for guests at the end of the night! He also handled our photobooth which was also a huge hit! Thank you for everything!

do, but they also truly care about their clients. They put a great deal of time, effort and heart into making us feel special and tailored every aspect of our wedding to our own unique style; down to the smallest details. Our early May wedding day was cool and drizzly so we made a last minute decision to have the ceremony indoors. John and his team, with the assistance of our amazing florist, turned an ordinary foyer into a breathtaking, ethereal backdrop for our nuptials! The drapes and lighting were absolutely gorgeous and created an atmosphere of warmth and elegance. During the reception, John made sure everything flowed smoothly. He is an expert in his craft and chose the perfect music that kept the people on the dance floor. He was also incredibly sensitive to our needs. My father had just been released from the hospital the morning of my wedding and he was wheelchair-bound. John offered some suggestions for the father-daughter dance and patiently waited while we tried to figure out if a dance would even be possible. It was ultimately decided that my new husband and brother-in-law would assist my dad to his feet so we could at least enjoy a few seconds of the dance. John was incredibly accommodating and helped to make it a truly memorable experience. We have gotten so many compliments from our family and friends about the ambience and decor of our wedding and we owe it all to John and his amazing team!!

os with each table that I would have definitely regretted had I not done. He gathered everyone together all the events the groom and I had planned without hesitation. We had a Photo Booth with him as well, and his wonderful wife put an incredible scrapbook together with all the photos and messages guests left. I had no questions to ask him, he explained everything before it happened. Made my night so much less stressful! and best of all... People are still talking about how amazing the night was, and the wedding was 2 months ago! Thank you John and Carrie!

ience. The view is priceless. Our DJ, John Howard (A2Z Music) was fantastic. He is very creative and made great suggestions for the reception. Our guests were SO IMPRESSED! They laughed, they cried, they danced and had a wonderful time. You don’t need a wedding planner to keep everything in line if you have John! He is very passionate about his job and his wife Carrie is available if you need help or suggestions. John played a big part in giving my new daughter a Cinderella wedding she will never forget.

the entire time. Our day was made special by John and A2Z Music. Our friends who are getting married have been requesting his information nonstop since our wedding. That shows how the all attendees noticed how incredible he was. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING JOHN! Book him - you won't regret it.

lved in putting up and taking down the uplights on the day of my wedding, I decided it would be best to rent and have the lights installed by a local vendor instead. When I conducted my initial search, there were various vendors that were up-charging us since our wedding was right around the corner. However, when I contacted John he gave me a much needed relief by providing us with uplights, labor, and even dancing on the clouds dry-ice effect within our budget. John's services made our reception look elegant, sophisticated, beautiful, and fun! John even stayed for the entire 10+ hours and was remarkable the whole way through! Going with John was the best decision that we made and he helped to put multiple smiles on me and my wife's faces throughout the entire event. I would highly recommend John and his team, so if you are looking for any type of lighting, DJ, Dry-Ice etc. services you don't have to look anywhere else. John and his team does everything and they also have great network with so many other vendors that they can work with to bring your dream to reality!

xible he was with the last minute music changes that we requested. He was so easy to work with, and we had a great reception. John was very good about keeping the evening on schedule, while making sure we were having a great time. He periodically would remind my husband and I when it was time to be announced, cut the cake, first dances, etc...just to make sure we didn't miss anything. After all of the formal items were finished, he basically made the rest of the evening into an awesome dance party. This was exactly what I had requested, and I couldn't have been happier! He played music to keep everyone engaged and dancing, and everyone was telling me how much fun they were having. Our guests kept commenting on how much they liked our DJ, and they had a great time. We were very happy with John's work, and we highly recommend working with him for any event.

ohn had an ease with which he managed the flow of the reception, keeping the energy high and vibe flowing, the music choices were spot on, and the provided the services above and beyond of any other wedding DJ we have experienced. Meeting with John during the planning stages made all the difference. He truly had unique and special ideas and thoughts towards how to make our reception the most thoughtful. We would not hesitate to recommend John!
