ll the way to Yankton, SD to take our engagement photos. She has a natural eye of selecting backgrounds and poses for pictures. She was very helpful in taking out the awkwardness of posing for photos and was able to make us laugh. She was very timely in getting our photos back for us to be able to send out save the dates. During our wedding planning we exchanged multiple emails back and forth and she gave us great examples for how to structure and plan our day which also helped with our itinerary and when we were setting what our entire wedding day would look like. She is very detailed oriented and requested a shot list for us which she stuck too very well. The groomsmen and groom were running behind slightly day of the wedding and she was very fluid in adjusting the shot list to make sure nothing was missed. When taking photos with ring bearer and flower girl who werent the most cooperative, she was willing to make animal noises which got the attention of the little kids as well as the adults there as well lol! She is very easy to work with and helps things feel very natural. Her personality is awesome and makes things easy. She also has the ability to be commanding when needed to keep everything in line. We also received a ton of compliments from our wedding party and guest about how awesome our photographer was as a person. Besides being an awesome person, she also does wonderful work with the camera. We absolutely loved our photos we got for our engagement session. Fast forward to our wedding day, I do not think there was a shot she missed. She did such a wonderful job with couple, family, and wedding party photos. The cermony photos were great and she capture all the moments a couple could wish for. I am unsure if this is typical or not but we requested some "action" shots of us while we were at a bar between the ceremony and reception. These were some of my favorite photos with friends and family and she got some great shots of this 2 hour time, I do not think she stopped for a break the entire time. When we got to the reception and started with speeches, she again capture every single moment of speeches that were filled with tears, laughter, and everything in between. The shots she took during the games following were just amazing as well as the shots taken during the dance. The first dance photos turn out to be everything we wanted them to be. I really cannot say enough on how great she was to work with as well as how great her photos turned out. I highly recommend her and her work and am so thankful we chose her as our photographer. If you are unsure about a photographer, look no further! If we could give more than 5 stars we would! I would add that we did have a videographer and she worked great with them as well!
