Aaron Lane did a fantastic job, djing my wedding at City Club in Lafayette! He really worked off the energy of the crowd. In the beginning of the reception, he played songs that any generation could dance to. As the night progressed and the older guests started to leave, he started playing songs he knew me and the younger guests wanted to hear. In other words, we turned up with his help! A big reason why I had faith in his skills was because we had a thoughtful conversation about what kind of music my husband and I would like to hear. He makes sure to have a meeting/phone call ahead of the wedding to ensure it’s a night you would expect. However, it was more than I expected. I received many compliments!

DJ Aaron & his team were all around amazing. We love music and dancing, so finding the right DJ was very important, and right off the bat during our interview, I clicked with Aaron...
! We also had mainly out of town guests who were unfamiliar with a Southern-style cocktail wedding, so we needed someone to direct/emcee the group as well. Aaron checked ALL of the boxes. He was so professional and easy to work with and captured our music taste perfectly. Nobody left the dancefloor and there were tracks for all ages. Our wedding was a dream dance party, all thanks to DJ Aaron. He also provided us with uplighting and the indoor cold sparks - cannot recommend their extra services enough. Our guests are still raving about how that was the most fun wedding they've ever been to! They were so laid back and fun to work with, but efficient and thoughtful. He had great ideas for our dancing timeline, and is extremely knowledgeable all things weddings.
TLDR: Hire DJ Aaron now! He will provide unforgettable fun & work with you to make your day exactly how you envision it.

n it! Here's why he was the best:
- He asked thoughtful questions before the event and really got a sense of what we were looking for. I was shocked that I told him what I needed *once* and he nailed it. I asked him, in the setting-up-the-space-for-the-wedding frenzy, if he needed anything from me-- and he did not, which freed me up to do other things. He was calm and efficient and warm through the whole process.
- I told him I love Taylor Swift but not everyone does, so I didn't request very many T-Swift songs. And you know what? He worked some extra in just for me. It was very thoughtful and sweet.
- His transitions between songs are super smooth-- nobody wants to leave the floor!
- He was an expert at blending musical tastes and playing what the people dancing wanted to hear.
- I cut my own sample of the processional music and he fixed it so it sounded professional.
- Our venue served dinner early and disrupted our timeline, and he reassured me it was actually better and everything was fine. And it was!
- He was the perfect emcee for us-- not too loud, nothing cheesy, but he kept us on track and was an expert and helping guests understand when they needed to be in one space versus another, when to clear an aisle, etc.
In short: hire Aaron Lane Pro DJ and spend the extra money to get Aaron himself. He will take great care of you and the music will be perfect.

Aaron Lane was the DJ at our wedding, and we could not have asked for better! He was excellent at reading the room and playing music that got literally everyone on the dance floor....
Very easy to communicate with and made the entire process stress-free, which is all a bride can ask for!! If you need a DJ, call him!!!

Not only did he do a great job Djing but his rentals were the best as well. The sparctic displays were so eye catching and brought a whole new level to the energy in the room. the reception a party! There were very few of our guests who were not up on their feet dancing! Even my 91 yo grandparents were dancing in their seats! Rene was super easy to work with and very accommodating when we needed to add ceremony music to our contract. Would highly recommend Aaron Lane Entertainment for your next event in the Big Easy!

As I was dancing to my radio this morning, I was fondly remembering my wedding reception and realized I had not written a review about one of the best vendors of the night.

Lane is the BEST! He and his team were professional and helped make our reception amazing! Most of my guests and I were on the dance floor the entire night, but when people weren't dancing, they were over getting their pictures taken at the photo booth. My husband and I now have a wonderful book of all of the film strips taken by our guests with their messages and a flash drive of the pictures as well, courtesy of Aaron Lane.
Prior to the wedding, Aaron scheduled a call with us and inquired about our music tastes, including asking about which songs needed to be played and which ones shouldn't. He also went over our wedding song and made sure that he had the correct version, playing us his cut of the song so that it would naturally end (we only wanted to dance to 2 minutes of a song that was 4 minutes long). We heard all of the songs we had requested throughout the night, and the DJ ended with a song that we loved from high school.
Overall, I can't recommend Aaron Lane enough! We've had guests come up to us in the months after talking about the dancing and music and what a fantastic time they had.

Chris Logan with Aaron Lane Entertainment as our DJ and we also rented our photo booth with them. It was a great experience. Chris was so fun, and aside from a few specifics I just gave him music genres we wanted and let him do his thing, and it worked out fantastically. Loved the photo booth too. I only got to go in it a few times, but it was a hit with the guests, and getting the album and memory card immediately made for a fun morning the next day looking at the photos our guests took!

se I wanted everyone dancing all night long haha. I knew I wanted a DJ because I just felt it was more fun to dance to the songs we know! When I told my other vendors I wanted a DJ everyone and I mean everyone, recommended Aaron Lane and for good reason!! HANDS DOWN THE BEST DJ EVER. My husband’s family has even declared that Aaron should be in the DJ hall of fame!! He played the best music that got EVERYONE dancing like I wanted and read the room at the right moments. More than that though he made the entire music process so easy! I wasn’t sure on a final song and he helped me narrow down some options and make a great choice. He asked for any requests we had and accommodated some rather odd selections from my husband and I. Everlong in the final 5 songs, DONE, Candy for the cake cutting, DONE, all the 90s/00s pop you can think of, DONE and DONE! He also helped with the flow of the evening, from first dances, to getting people to sign the guest book, to making announcements, his presence was extremely helpful and made the entire evening fun. I cannot recommend Aaron Lane enough. He truly cares about making your wedding perfect for you and will go above and beyond to ensure it is!

ht. He really felt the room and played the right music at the right time. He even incorporated inside jokes that were told during the toasts into the music and allowed friends to sing/rock out (after seeking permission from me first!). It was a truly unique, personal, and FUN experience. He easily worked with our other vendors, including a second line band that we had perform midway through the reception. My husband and I received many "that was the best wedding I've ever been to!" compliments and that was largely in part to Aaron's talents! I would hire Aaron over and over again! Thank you SO MUCH to Aaron and his team!!!!

were going for and our guests were literally on the dance floor before we even ate dinner. Every song I would say to myself "ok, after this song, I'm going to take a break and sit down for a minute" but then he would play another song that kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night!! We also added the new Sparctic Displays he offers which made the night even more magical! The photo booth and props were hilarious and were definitely a crowd favorite. r ceremony, he accommodated a last minute ceremony relocation due to rain. He didn't once complain and made it happen.
The reception was the greatest party of our lives. Not only did he individually announce each member of the bridal party, NBA style, he also kept the dance floor full all night long. The sparkle boxes and LOVE sign we also rented completed the night and guests are still talking about them.
Book Aaron and you will not be disappointed!

o give suggestions when we needed them and also asked the right questions to find out who we were as a couple and what kind of vibe we wanted for the wedding. Chris was our DJ the day of the wedding and he was fantastic, we had tons of compliments from our guests. Our music taste is kind of all over the place so we thought it would be a little bit of a challenge to make it all flow together, but he made it happen. What made me the happiest was that a lot of our friends said they could tell who's wedding they were at just by listening to the music, I loved that! The DJ was one of the most important parts of the wedding to us, so I'm so glad we picked the best one. It couldn't have been more of a party, everyone was on the dance floor. Aaron was awesome! We met with him before the wedding to discuss songs, and he was able to match the vibe we were going for. He edited our first dance song to be the perfect tempo....
We also used his photobooth and Sparctic machine. The photobooth was a hit, and all the photos were compiled into a book that our guests signed. We had it to take home that night. I would 100% recommend him for anyone's wedding.
