I recently had the pleasure of working with Aaron and his band for a wedding at Umlauf and was nothing short of impressed! He was very professional, friendly, timely and so easy to communicate with leading up to and on the wedding day! You can see the care and attention he gives to both his clients and fellow vendors. I will definitely be recommending him to couples looking for a fun, easy-going (country but can do so much more) band!

We had Aaron and his band play for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary party in the Texas Hill Country. They were amazing and provided the perfect dance hall atmosphere that we were hoping for. In fact, they exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Aaron is a true talent, is professional, and is extremely pleasant to work with. I will be watching for opportunities to see him play again in the future.

We had Aaron McDonnell and his band perform at our important client event in Austin, TX. They were very friendly, reliable and arrived on time! The music was perfect for our event and got everyone up dancing! They were definitely the highlight of the evening.

I cannot speak highly enough about Aaron McDonnell and his band. I feel so incredibly lucky to have had them play at our wedding, I have to pinch myself to believe it was real--they are truly beyond words amazing. My husband and I both love country music, and Aaron is our favorite country artist right now. He is truly unbelievable, and in our opinion up there with the greats. The band plays covers flawlessly, and their original music is even better. And Aaron and his band are so good that they appeal not only to country music fans, but also to people with all kinds of tastes in music. All of our guests were completely in awe and could not stop commenting on how incredible Aaron’s band is and asking how we were able to find them. On top of that, Aaron is so wonderful to work with. He is very warm and kind and friendly, as well as responsive, accommodating, and attentive. Our wedding timeline got thrown off a little, and they adjusted seamlessly. Once again, I give Aaron and his band my strongest recommendation. I hope I get to see them play again one day. Until then, my husband and I put on his music at home and our hearts are full as we relive our special day. Thanks a million, Aaron, for everything!

We had Aaron McDonnell and the Neon Eagles at our private event for a nonprofit organization in Midland, Texas - they were so good! It was so fun to have both Aaron and Dani on stage singing original music and cover songs from the likes of Johnny and June Cash and Merle Haggard. Aaron's voice is beautiful and clean as a whistle - I'm going to see about booking them in the future for another private event or wedding.

Aaron McDonnell & The Neon Eagles were PERFECT for our rehearsal dinner! They were incredibly easy to work with and attentive to our needs (e.g,, learning new songs, playlist recs, band composition, and even letting us sing!), but more importantly, they rocked. Everyone was two-stepping and enjoying life the entire time. I couldn't imagine a better experience!

The Aaron McDonnell Band played for one of my weddings and the experience was absolutely fantastic. Aaron was wonderful to work with on logistics and song choices. On the day of the event, the band was on time and ready to go with all songs and more. They timed the ceremony music perfectly and kept the crowd on the dance floor during their post dinner set. Aaron and his band exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding. Aaron is professional, down to earth, and great with communication. My now husband and I were first introduced to Aaron on the Knot almost one year ago. We began talking and I was impressed with his communication, not to mention his music and affordable prices. He was quick to answer any questions/concerns we had. It was when he invited us to Buda, TX to see him perform that my husband and I decided that he and his band would be the perfect fit for the wedding. The only concern we had as a couple was that not all of our guests enjoy listening to country style music, and that not all of our guests would be on the dance floor. Fast forward to our wedding day, all of our previous concerns were quickly put to rest. The band had every single guest at our party on their feet and raving about the music. People were telling us they felt as if they were at a private concert, and it truly was a concert. Some guests told us they felt their love was reconnected when they danced with their spouse; what a wedding is all about! Aaron and his band made our dream wedding come to life. He was also an excellent EMCEE and kept the night flowing perfectly. We will now be looking for any excuse to book Aaron and his band again in the future! Aaron McDonnell and his band were amazing! He has the most incredible voice. Aaron works with you personally with booking and planning for the wedding. Aaron played our TX Hill Country wedding in Oct 2016 and we definitely made the right choice. Listen to his EP - if you are looking for true country sound, this is your guy. In addition, he made bride life easy with execution of sound at three different locations thoughout the venue, taking the logistics of audio off of my plate. He is professional, reliable, and a truly unique artist to watch.

Aaron and his bandmates played at a private party for us, and they were fantastic! Truly professional voice and music. We wanted some great country music and we got it. They made for an awesome party!

Aaron and his band were amazing at our wedding earlier this September. Originally, my fiance' wanted a formal string quartet to play for the chapel ceremony and for the hor d'oeuvres/happy hour and a I wanted to have a western band play for the dinner/dance portion. When we were shopping around for a band, we saw Aaron play at Hill's Cafe and my fiance' fell in love with his band. We asked if he could do a 'western' string quartet in addition to the dinner/dance version and he said 'Sure!'. We had so many compliments that our wedding party and processions were played on steel guitar- they did a very nice rendition of Cannon in D along with the other standard ceremonial tunes. They just did a great job in the chapel and made it memorable. The hor d'oeuvres hour atmosphere was also relaxing and fitting for our Hill Country outdoor setting with a lot of credit to Aaron's background music making it happen. The western dance portion that night was just solid- no need to say more except he rocked it. Again, we had many compliments from our guests that the band made the night. Thank you, Aaron and Band for a great and memorable night!

Hill Country meets Bakersfield! Aaron McDonnell and his band were very professional, responsive to my inquiries and most importantly they were awesome! My husband, family and guests loved it. Having a great band rather than a DJ really made our celebration special.

Aaron and his band were amazing to work with. As a wedding planner it can be difficult to find GOOD vendors to work with, but once you do you never want to let them go. Aaron was very responsive to email and very accommodating for the requests/concerns we had, he was also very flexible day of. They were a joy to work with, and I hope I get the pleasure of working with them again! OH - and their music is amazing!

I am a Wedding and Special Events Planner, Couture Details Events, and recently had the true honor of working with Aaron and his band! As a planner, one of my most important roles is to recommend highly talented, yet also professional, vendors....... oddly, it can be quite challenging, however, VERY crucial to achieve a smooth, memorable and enjoyable experience for all clients, guests and vendors involved in the special day. I had never worked with Aaron until a lovely bride said that she booked him and he'd be performing at her wedding! From the moment I began communication with Aaron, it was so easy!!!!!! We conducted a walk-thru of the event and shared several emails to assure the details would be delivered just as the client expected. When the event day came, not only was he a huge hit for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, but he delivered exactly what the client wanted, without having to be reminded or prompted. A true dream to work with. Aside from the professional side of things, Aaron has a solid sound and can certainly produce a great show! I highly recommend Aaron and his band for any occasion, small or large, he will certainly be a hit on all levels!

We contacted several bands and booking sites when planning a backyard wedding. Aaron responded quickly and professionally to our initial inquiry and follow up emails. The bride and groom wanted a causal, non-traditional event. Aaron went with the flow without missing a beat. He and his band were easy going, adjusted to playing under a canopy when we executed the rain plan, and delivered great music during cocktail hour and for dancing after dinner. Highly Recommended! Beautiful renditions of classics and great original songs!

I just worked with Aaron and his band for a wedding and they did an excellent job! He was very responsive to my calls and emails, showed up for each meeting (and the day of) on time, offered some great solutions to some concerns we had about the event, and was all around easy to work with. All of the band members were super nice and worked well with the guests. They were even very patient with some of the guests that were a bit unruly toward the end of the night. I'm glad they were referred to us and I'd be happy to work with them again!

I first met Aaron and his wife and the band at my sister surprise 30th birthday party. They rocked the house! It was so much fun dancing to live music, even the little kids loved it!! My finance and I at the time were trying to figure out how we'd be able to combin our love of music genres (I like country and pop/dance muisc and he likes country and rock) for our wedding! The moment he and I got up to dance at my sister birthday party we both knew we wanted Aaron and his band at our wedding! Sometime after I emailed Aaron and he was so quick with his resonse. Fast forward to this past weekend (10-24-15) and hurricane Patrica is upon us. My heart broke as all my wedding plans started falling apart. We managed to make a few changes and I'm so thankful that Aaron and his band were still able to jam out at our reception! They were all so patiant and acomidating! My now HUSBAND and I did not leave the dance floor once! Aaron and his band are just so amazing! I really can not say enough good things. They played the perfect country songs. I can't wait to see them play again! I have to note, they are so affordable for the quality of music they play, Aaron's voice to me is right up there with George, Merle or even Garth and his band is just as amazing too! Thank you Aaron for helping make our reception so perfect, thank you for letting us throw a couple lame dance songs in ;) and thank you for just everything you did!! We had the Aaron McDonnell band play music for our wedding reception and it was perfect! We got married at a winery in the Texas hill country and the style of music was a great fit! We would book them again anytime and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a full band at an affordable price, it will be an added touch to any event that you and your guests won't forget! We loved having the older country music and all of our guests absolutely loved it! They even let my brother sing a couple of songs with them, such an unforgettable night and so happy we made the choice with Aaron McDonnell and his awesome band!

Wow ! The best ever ! Aaron and his band played for our son's grad party from UT last week as we were on cruise on Lady Bird Lake. He put the icing-on-the-cake, making the evening perfect !!! Aaron and his band played at the social event for our international women’s health conference that was held in Austin this year. They were absolutely spectacular. In the 17 years I’ve attended social events for this organization, I’ve never seen so many attendees on the dance floor having a good time. It was a huge success. The music was sensational and the band members were all so pleasant and fun to be around. We will definitely be inviting Aaron and his band back the next time our conference is in Austin.

Aaron McDonnell played for our wedding this last January 2015. We wanted a live band to play during our cocktail hour to get the night started and everyone in the mood for dancing. They were the PERFECT band to do this! They got the guests dancing and sounded awesome. They made our wedding that much more special!

Had the pleasure of seeing these guys play at a wedding in November, and they just blew me away. They preformed a customized version of hallelujah for the bride and groom during the ceremony that brought the crowd to tears. Would highly recommend this band for your reception or ceremony. They'll be famous one day!
