Aaron Varga helped to create the most perfect day for me and my husband. He was communicative and excited off the bat. He showed up for the day punctually and brought a warm presence to all of our sesssions. He was so efficient in getting the pictures back to us and our jaws dropped when we got to see them all. He captured the most incredible moments and truly was a pleasure to work with - we were sad when our time together ended!

When choosing vendors for our wedding, photography was the most important to me. Photos are what you’re left with in the years to come!!! I wanted to use someone my friend had used so I reached out to them but they were already booked for our date… and that was hands down one of the best things that could’ve happened because she recommended Aaron!!! In addition to the photos being absolutely breath taking, Aaron is such a great, down to earth guy who makes you feel SO comfortable. Being in front of a camera for engagement shoots and taking such intimate photos with a stranger can be uncomfortable, but Aaron made it feel so natural and easy!!! He was so professional and easy to work with on the day of the wedding and his expertise kept us ON TIME (which is hard to do with a wedding party of 24 people). He tells you exactly how to stand, where to look, and how to position yourself so that your photos are PERFECT! I cannot recommend him more for your wedding photographer.

From the first moment we spoke with Aaron we knew we were going to have a great wedding photography experience. He was so kind and it was easy to relay our vision of the day. He arrived at my home the morning of the wedding and captured the most beautiful photos of my jewelry, gown and shoes! I had no idea until I received my digital album. One of the first things we picked when planning our wedding was photographer. We absolutely loved working with Aaron from day one! His photos were classic and beautiful and spoke to us immediately. Throughout the process he was so responsive, organized and helpful. On the day of our wedding he was calm, happy, professional, and a pleasure to spend the day with. Aaron was our photographer for both our engagement photos and wedding. A large part of why we chose Aaron was because of his photography style capturing all the vibrant colors. Having a fall wedding, this was so important to us. He certainly met our expectations and captured beautiful photos with the fall scenery. He made out experience so stress free by giving us poses for every picture, and was very open to suggestions of photos we wanted to take as well. I was very nervous that I would have to come up with poses or look online for ideas, but he made the process so easy that I didn’t have to do any of that! His photos truly capture our love and portrayed our emotions of the wedding day! These photos really give the “wow” factor and we have had so many compliments from friends and family. Besides the beautiful photos, Aaron was very quick to get us all of our photos within a few weeks instead of waiting 2 months like many other photographers. He also created a beautiful wedding album for us. We cannot recommend Aaron enough!!

Our wedding ceremony took place at sunset and continued into the night in early October. So night shots and lightning were very important factors to us. Aaron was recommended to us by another photographer friend, who said if you want beautiful night shots you need to go with Aaron. In my opinion to be recommended by a colleague, another fantastic photographer, is high praise and we were not disappointed. Aaron was fantastic to work with. He is incredibly professional, responsive, and provides great guidance. He not only suggested, and helped make a time schedule of the wedding day, he used his experience to make recommendations throughout the process. Aaron and Matthew took beautiful pictures and many guests complimented their work and kindness while interacting with them throughout the day. They helped to create a cohesive and relaxed environment for us and our family which we could not be more grateful for. Aaron and Matthew certainly made our day better and brought so much energy and excitement to the experience. We could not have chosen a better photographer for our Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel wedding! Aaron went above and beyond to capture moments that we will never forget. He made everything so easy for us and was very responsive throughout the entire experience. He had all of our photos edited within 2 weeks and we are obsessed with every single one of them. He went out of his way to check in on us during the year long delay of our wedding (due to COVID) and is very responsive. Aaron was THE BEST! We really enjoyed our experience. He was very communicative and responsive from the very beginning. We were a Covid Couple, so he was very helpful and flexible as we were looking to move our wedding date to 2021. Aaron is very personable and enjoyable to spend the whole day with him (which is an important aspect for your wedding day!). My husband and I are definitely not naturals in front of the camera, so Aaron provided some good direction for our wedding poses. He also provided some great examples and suggestions when we were deciding on the location of our wedding photos in between our ceremony and reception. The pictures turned out AMAZING- he had the right mix of traditional and artistic photos. We've gotten so many compliments so far from our pictures and he was VERY timely in getting them back to us. I can not recommend Aaron enough as a wedding photographer! He did our engagement photos and wedding photos, and every photo was incredible. The photo turn-around time was also incredibly fast. Aaron is easy to work with even if you feel awkward being photographed, and he was incredibly responsive from the time I booked his services until the day of the wedding. He recommended a list of possible locations for our engagement photos, as we are not from the Pittsburgh area. He also created a day-of wedding timeline for me to ensure we captured all the moments I hoped for. I booked Aaron based on his portfolio and a review that said, “If Aaron isn’t available for your wedding day, change your wedding date” and I couldn’t agree more.

Aaron Varga was one of our very first vendors that we booked for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made! On our initial phone call, Aaron talked through the process with us starting from the very beginning. He gave us great advice and was not pushy at all to book with him. My husband and I were married this October and Aaron did some amazing work. He also did our engagement session the October before. Aaron is very professional and very easy to work with. He is right on top of everything. My husband had a surprise planned for me during our wedding pictures which included an inflatable unicorn. Aaron worked with my husband and pulled of the surprise without a hitch, not to mention hilarious. Aarons work is absolutely amazing. If you are unsure look at his portfolio. There is not one bad picture in the mix. Aaron was worth every penny. He captured our wedding so beautifully, now all these wonderful moments and memories with stay with us for a lifetime. Aaron was INCREDIBLE. He made us feel so comfortable taking pictures on our wedding day and he is so fun and chill to work with. We saw pictures from our day THAT NIGHT on his iPad! When the time came to wedding plan, hiring a top Pittsburgh wedding photographer was our first priority. I had always been a fan of Aaron Varga Photography (AVP). He stood out to me because year after year he captures beautiful weddings. I also loved his consistent sneak peaks and blog posts. It was clear every couple received the VIP AVP treatment, and he didn’t play the favorites game, which was important to us. While Aaron was a front runner, we did our due diligence and reached out to about ten other wedding photographers before making a decision. However, Aaron’s response was a clear cut above the rest. He was the first to respond and the only one who sought to get to know us better. I was so impressed when we met face-to-face. I swore he did homework on us and brought a portfolio of images that mimicked the wedding aesthetic we hoped to achieve. Bonus, there was no ego here—he’s one heck of a nice guy! Aaron shot our wedding on July 15, 2017. He was my favorite vendor that we hired. He was always prompt in answering any of our questions, giving us suggestions as to the best way of doing things, and helpful in planning out our day so we could get the most out of it. Our photos are beautiful! One of the most important planning details to me was obtaining a good photographer so we would have good photos to cherish. Aaron does not disappoint! Not only is he a great photographer, but he also is very kind and easy to work with. He is eager to provide suggestions and happy to go with the flow with whatever you decide. Per our request, Aaron caught a lot of great candid photos and he was very creative with his shots and poses. Aaron is not cheap but his photos do not disappoint.

Aaron is an incredible photographer who did our engagement and wedding photos. He was very flexible and was excited to take pictures at two new locations-- Frick Park in Pittsburgh as well as our wedding in Ohio. He is extremely professional and always was on time for everything-- usually being early. One thing I really liked about Aaron was that he had our photos done around a week after each session. We were thrilled to book Aaron for our July wedding after having our engagement photo session shot by him in February. The engagement pictures were amazing...I've never had so many complitments before on my photos, so naturally we didn't hesitate to ask him to photograph our wedding. I myself am not very photogenic and have worried for years about something as important as wedding photos. The pictures he took of us that evening were absolutely GORGEOUS. I was thrilled with the results as well as my husband.
