We needed someone to come in late in the game and pull out a miracle – take over vendor relationships, fill in the many missing chunks, and provide a vision for a complicated wedding. My husband and I were planning our 250+ guest Central Florida wedding long-distance from Boston, with my mom’s help locally in Orlando, and we needed a team that was able to regularly communicate with us via Skype, phone, and email, and all the while helping my mom with on-the-ground tasks in Orlando. We were overwhelmed, to say the least. We found Lisa and Kristen in a panic while searching for a professional, well-respected team to take over the planning. We needed someone who was organized, with stellar communication skills, and willing to handle whatever freak-outs we threw their way. Lisa and Kristen were willing to take on the job and assured us it would be the stress-free process we had dreamed of. Immediately, Lisa and Kristen reached out to our established vendors, reviewed our in-process vendor contracts, and began filling in all of the holes we had in the plan – lighting, rentals, linen, drape, etc. They pulled together a coherent vision for the whole weekend and involved all of our vendors to make sure that the full “team” executed our dream wedding flawlessly. Lisa and Kristen were responsive, flexible, and worked tirelessly to give us the day we envisioned. On the day of the wedding, Lisa, Kristen, and their colleague Katie ran the show masterfully. With so many vendors and details, I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to relax and enjoy the day – but Lisa and Kristen had every small detail under control and allowed me and my family to truly appreciate our special event. Everything was simply extraordinary – better than we could have ever imagined. We could not imagine being in better, more capable hands. We are still overwhelmed with gratitude for Lisa, Kristen, and the entire AATR team.

oper. We dealt with a lot of unexpected changes in our wedding party and had a lot of personal touches and events to add in, which lead to having to change the schedule on her multiple times. Each time, she graciously scheduled time for us to chat (mostly late night phone calls to accommodate our schedule!) and was helpful with recommendations to make it easier on us. A lot of our wedding was also DIY, and Lisa was extremely thorough to make sure everything turned out exactly how we imagined it. She even went out of her way to pick up some extra personal florals for us on the way to the venue the morning of the wedding. With even more changes with the bridesmaids during hair & makeup, we got quite a bit behind schedule, and Lisa managed to keep the stress levels down and get us right back to where we needed to be, something that seemed impossible at the time. To top it all off, when we walked in to our sneak peak before our reception, not only was everything where we had planned, but Lisa had added her own artistic touches and repurposed a lot of the decor from the ceremony to perfect the the reception. We couldn't have been happier! We would highly recommend An Affair To Remember and their team to ANYONE looking for any type of wedding/event planner.

She always made me feel good about decisions, and gave the perfect advice for vendors, decorations, and miscellaneous details. t friends. The weddings that Kristen and an Affair to Remember creates exudes class, elegance and are beyond gorgeous. Although I did not hire Kristen for the entire year, I felt like she was by my side at every moment. I could reach out to her with any worry, question, or just plain wanted to share excitement with her about something regarding the big day. She was someone that I could count on that would be just as excited as I was for our big day. You feel like you are her only bride (which is not the case!). I am the kind of person who has trouble letting go of control and letting things happen without over analyzing everything to the core, and she has a way about her that makes the bride feel so comfortable and confident about the planning process. She went above and beyond from the start for us and when the day finally arrived, was I GLAD Kristen and the team at An Affair to Remember were the ones who were there for us on our day. Throughout the day there were heavy heavy rainstorms, lighting, sideways rain, thunder, and yes, even tornado sirens. Our wedding was an outdoor ceremony with cocktail hour being outside on a deck. Not only did Kristen and her team at An Affair to Remember have a plan B….but she and her team had a plan C and D. When the weather finally started to clear a little bit and it was getting close to ceremony time, you would have never of guessed from the beautiful ceremony and reception sites what had gone on all day long with the weather. She and her team literally put together a gorgeous wedding in the middle of monsoon weather! Having that kind of weather on a wedding day is a bride’s worst nightmare, and because of Kristen and how she went so far above and beyond what any other wedding planner/organizer would have ever done, that weather on my wedding day was the complete opposite of a nightmare. The minute I walked into the reception site and took a look around at the beautiful wedding she created nothing mattered about the weather. It was everything I envisioned and more! I will always be so thankful for how Kristen worked so very hard for us on our wedding day, and I would not want to imagine how it would have turned out if she and the team at An Affair to Remember was not there for us on that day. or was the right direction for me. I was very involved throughout the wedding planning process and wanted to make sure everything went smoothly. I quickly realized I could not do this without help. The girls from AATR were on every last detail and accessible to answer all my questions day or night, and not just the month of, but my entire engagement. Had it not been for them, my vision would not have come to life. I literally called Kristen in a panic the night before my wedding due to challenges with cupcake wrappers (of all things!) - without hesitation, Kristen met me unexpectedly to pick up the wrappers and work her magic. I have had so many people tell me that our wedding was the most fun, organized, and well decorated wedding that they had ever been to. They told me that they could see all of the hard work I put into crafting and making things "my own". I work a lot, and could never have done all of these things without help from Lisa. I truly owe her my sanity and my mom's sanity!

re what you would call…difficult!! She was amazing with being able to answer any and all of my question during my normal waking hours! As our wedding day became closer and closer, Lisa was on the ball with reminder emails and texts of what I should be working on or already have done! These reminders are the only reason I was able to even be prepared to make it down the isle!!! Our wedding party was HUGE!!! We each had a party of 9!!! Like I said before, I married a fireman…who also happened to play college football. Lisa kept every single groomsmen (& bridesmaid) on schedule & where they were supposed to be so everything could run smoothly! owen was so helpful and professional during every step of the 16-month planning. Her knowledge of local venues and vendors is extensive, and it was clear during meetings with vendors that AATR is very well-regarded by wedding service providers. Lisa was helpful in sending us to look at businesses that she knew were competent and reliable and that fit the style of the wedding (some of whom provided discounts based on Lisa and AATR as our planner), but we never felt "pushed" to use any particular vendor. She kept us informed and on schedule throughout the process so that we never felt rushed and was invariably pleasant, calm, and easy to work with. The wedding at Knowles Chapel and reception at the Portofino Bay Hotel were beautiful and everything we and my daughter and her fiancé hoped for; everything went off perfectly and we didn't have to sweat the details. We would highly recommend AATR and Lisa for wedding planning at any level of service.

After having worked with Lisa for nearly a full year, planning the perfect day, I can honestly say that the money we spent on An Affair to Remember's services was - hands down - the best money we spent on the entire wedding! Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Lisa was absolutely stellar to work with! I pretty much had it handled the first half of the year of planning with the occasional email for advice from Lisa. The 6 months leading up to the wedding however were a lot less fun, at times I really wanted to give up but Lisa made sure that the important things were taken care of, that I was comfortable and relaxed on the day and that everything ran smoothly and looked beautiful with the help of Kristen. In all honesty I don't know what I would have done without AATR. was like talking to a friend. Kristen was especially great to work with because not only does she help you in any way that she can but she'll also do what she can to get you want. Our photographer cancelled on us less than two weeks before our wedding and she sought out anyone who was available for the same price and hours and found dozens of people willing to help. We ended up with two amazing photographers thanks to her. Hiring AATR was really the best investment for our wedding. The day of our wedding went great and Kristen was on top of everything. She was very organized and detailed. I would definitely suggest every bride hire a coordinator and I would only recommend An Affair to Remember. They are worth it!

! Chelsea did a phenomenal job at our pre planning meeting to hear our vision and plan for the day and gather all the important information. Lisa helped along the way with last minute transportation details with lots of emails and phone calls. Their response time was always quick and efficient! Chelsea saved the day when our Cake vendor lost the ribbon we had sent for the cake on the day before the wedding. One quick email and she called me immediately, and took care of everything so I could get dressed for the rehearsal! I couldn't have done it without them! After months of planning and stress, I woke up the morning of my wedding with an overwhelming sense of CALM!! Eventually everything worked out well, and she was easy to work with, and she did go beyond the contract to handle some extra issues throughout our planning (particularly the dress). right. That was the theme of our engagement and selection of the venue (Grand Bohemian). Both having worked with events, me and my man didn't think we would need wedding planning services throughout. The venue required the "Day Of" planning services, and the search began. I found Kristen & Lisa online and we were thrilled with their "Month Of" services. Honestly, I wish I had worked with them throughout. Both enthusiastic and extremely organized, Kristen and her team helped with everything from the cake baker to the seamstress to the cleaning and storage. We had a pretty busy wedding party with 6 on each side, little kids to boot, and family that hadn't seen each other in ages. But the day of swam along in what felt like effortless ease! (Of course, this was all hugely orchestrated by the AATR team!) I was ushered here and there per the schedule with gentle nudges and I enjoyed every millisecond of my special day!

though she was a day of coordinator, I was able to call her/email her the whole year of planning and ask for as much advice as needed. Her professionalism and promptness is incredible. She actually caught someone trying to "crash" our wedding! I would HIGHLY recommend using their services. My husband and I chose a new reception venue in downtown Orlando called “THE MEZZ” for our wedding reception. The only hiccup with this new venue was that it was in its infant stage, and we would be one of the first wedding receptions held at the location. Not to mention, when we booked the site, the downstairs ABBEY theater which would host our cocktail hour was still under construction and not even open!! And at this point, the staff at the venue was very limited, somewhat difficult to get a hold of, and definitely new to the wedding-planning industry. I have to admit that I am a very controlling, organized, detail-oriented person, who likes to consider herself a Martha-Stewart wannabe (lawyer by day…wedding planner by night.) I had done a lot of wedding elements and details myself, but in dealing with the venue and “day-of” planning, I knew I needed some assistance to be able to accomplish the wedding of my dreams. So… as we were nearing our wedding day, in steps our fabulous wedding planners from AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER to save the day! And even with my overly-controlling personality, I was able to fully appreciate and accept the great assistance of this AMAZING planning team. My husband and I had an initial meeting with Kristen Johnson where we discussed her services and the overall wedding-planning process. Her upbeat positive energy and no-nonsense approach made AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER a perfect choice. In the weeks before the wedding, Kristen and her team were able to gather information from us regarding the wedding ceremony, reception, locations, timing, vendors, etc., which helped them develop a formalized timeline and organization frame for the wedding day. Kristen was able to help coordinate a walk-through the space at the MEZZ and the accompanying downstairs ABBEY where we were doing cocktail hour. So…. during the 2 months that had elapsed (and as they developed and finalized the space), the MEZZ had hired its own event planner and had TOTALLY updated/rearranged/changed elements within the space, including table sizes, numbers, and chair choices (without telling us anything) I had already completed a general layout of the room, and at this point, basically had a meltdown and complete feeling of overwhelming dread as the wedding was about a week away and I felt completely disorganized because the venue was still in a state of flux. Kristen IMMEDIATELY took control and made me feel at ease – assuring me that the day and all of its elements would come together. A bride shouldn’t worry – she would handle things! She jumped in and coordinated with the MEZZ’s event planner and all of our various vendors, especially including our catering & linens team. Even in the few days prior to the wedding, Kristen was in contact with me and our vendors working out the little details. She even came up with an AWESOME last-minute idea to personalize the theater space with Bride & Groom Movie Posters that said “sold-out” show – all I had to do was email a quick photo and she took care of the rest. Team member Rachel was able to join us at our Rehearsal at the church and help get us organized and ready for the next day. It was also
