commend him to everybody ! Thank you Chris for your time and hard work!
I highly recommend Chris Abbate for anyone looking for a wedding DJ! From our initial consultation, throughout the planning process, and to the very end of our wedding night, Chris...
was there to support us 100%. He was always professional and responsive. He took the time to listen to what we wanted for our wedding timeline and music, and cut all of our songs perfectly for the moment. Chris was instrumental in our wedding day running smoothly, and I felt like I didn’t have to worry about a thing! Everyone danced all night long and had such a fun time! I am so happy we hired Chris to be our wedding DJ, he truly made our night one to remember and we are so grateful to have had him on our team.
Working with Chris was nothing short of a dream come true for both myself and my now wife. Chris went above and beyond to communicate clearly with us, maintained professionalism fr...
om start to finish, and created an atmosphere during the event that kept the dance floor full all night. Chris went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I had everything we wanted plus more. I can’t wait to find another reason to work with Chris again!
Chris was absolutely perfect, he was thorough with his questions during the planning process. I loved that we had multiple zoom meeting and made sure we were on the same page and h...
e was always available if I had questions on any given day. Then the day of came and he was even better! He kept everyone on the dance floor and if a song was requested it was played next. He made sure to keep an eye on my husband and I the whole night to make sure we were happy and having fun. Even through a hiccup at the ceremony (of my fault) he played it off and nobody knew! I can not say enough good words about him. I will definitely recommend him to anyone and everyone
We had such an amazing experience with Chris as our wedding DJ! Every time we met with him we felt like he understood what we had in mind and really helped take a lot of stress out...
of this aspect of planning. He never made any of our ideas seem silly and he was able to edit our first dance song to make it a more manageable length without it sounding cutoff or anything. Super responsive to emails and doesn't charge a bunch for add-ons like every other DJ we spoke with. As for the wedding itself he was great at reading the room and put on songs that really fit the mood. We had so many people up and dancing and loving the music! Will definitely be suggesting him to everyone we know with any DJ needs!
My now-wife and I had a wonderful experience through the whole process working with Chris over at Abbate Entertainment for our wedding. He walked us through his entire process, wha...
t to expect, and helped facilitate a seamless wedding reception. We are recommending Chris to all of our friends and appreciated his positive attitude, flexibility as our decisions evolved throughout the planning process, and ability to keep people having fun on the dance floor.
DJ Chris Abbate was amazing to work with. We met with him on zoom a couple times before our wedding to discuss our songs, wants, and needs for the wedding and he went above and bey...
ond expectations. He suggested ways to add to our entrance with our bridal party and even coordinated with them all what to do for the entrance, brought lights to make the dance floor and overall atmosphere look even better, and was so friendly and easy to work with. We can't say enough great things about him! If you are looking for an experienced, friendly, well priced, and overall great person and DJ then we recommend hiring him! The guests were texting us the next day raving about how great our DJ was and how much they enjoyed his song choices and they also loved that he had a QR code so they could request songs!
Chris was our DJ/MC for our wedding in June 2023. If you're looking for someone who has wedding experience, but is so determined to make your experience unique for you and your par...
tner book with Abbate Entertainment. Chris really went the extra mile to communicate with my now Husband and I throughout the entire wedding planning process (multiple check in meetings), what our visions were, helping with the flow of the day, giving suggestions on what he sees in the industry, etc. Compared to other vendors we interviewed with he was not trying to push/sell the part. His package is all inclusive and was more than we could have imagined. Guest have talked about the music and experience that he created for our day time and time again. He really knows how to keep people on the dance floor! One of the best vendors we worked with, highly recommend.
Chris is easily one of the best vendors we worked with throughout our wedding planning process. He always responded to our emails right away, offered to go above and beyond with hi...
s services, and was just generally supportive and sweet. All the right vibes you need from your vendors on the big day. He set up extra audio equipment for our outdoor ceremony as well as brought a bunch of party lights for our reception. He guides you through all the music choices you'd possibly need to make for a wedding during the planning process, and is happy to give suggestions or edit songs if necessary. Would absolutely recommend!
Working with Chris was the easiest experience of our wedding planning journey and he was a HIT at the wedding. His expertise and consideration of the many age levels attending our ...
event provided music that kept the party going the entire time and had EVERYONE on the dance floor. We greatly appreciated his guidance while trying to figure out our timeline and how to navigate first dances, speeches, and how to transition people through the different spaces of our venue. We really can't recommend him enough.
My husband and I got married this past October and we found Abbate Entertainment on WeddingWire. Chris was extremely responsive and flexible through the whole planning process. We ...
loved him immediately as we could see that he really cares about the couples vision and taste in music and wants to assure that we had the best time! Wedding planning can become really overwhelming and he gets that. He always made sure to listen and take notes on all of our likes/dislikes and talking with him was the easiest part of the whole process for us. Chris even created a custom entrance song mashup for us and used his skills on the keyboard to edit songs for us too. He was great day of and had amazing energy and created a custom monogram for us as well. If you are looking for a DJ in the area of Boston/The Cape he’s your guy and we would definitely recommend him. He also takes clients in Charlotte NC. We're so happy we chose Chris for our wedding, and you should too!
Chris was incredible to work with from start to finish! Always responsive to texts/emails and ready to make it our day the way we wanted it. He's also just a great guy and fun to t...
alk to and bounce ideas off of. He really knows how to read the room and played all of the music we wanted. I would highly recommend Chris and his team to anyone getting married or hosting a large event! Thank you Chris for making our music one of our wedding day highlights :)
I hired Chris to do my wedding this past July and it was perfect. I’m a little picky with music and definitely all over the place. Big oldies guy, great bands even, Elvis, MoTown b...
ut love the 90s and obviously some jams in the now era. Chris couldn’t have done better with the wedding playlist. My wife and I were on the dance floor all night along with the rest of the wedding. He worked great with us, punctual, didn’t miss a step, open to all ideas. Solid dude and great DJ. If you’re nervous booking the right DJ, you got my recommendation to call up Chris.
I have lost track of how many guests at our wedding came up to us and said “your DJ is amazing!!! Where did you find him??”. The endless compliments from all guests have not stoppe...
d. Chris was so helpful to us from the start of the process when we got engaged in the middle of 2020 during covid, all the way through the wedding day. On top of being very affordable for us, his experience showed during the planning as well. We didn’t know where to begin or what to expect but from our first call with him, Chris walked us through the process from start to finish. Our goal for this wedding was to make it as fun & memorable as possible - a party no one will ever forget. That is exactly what Chris helped us accomplish with the best music selection we could have hoped for. Thank you so much, Chris!!
We had THE BEST experience throughout the planning process with Chris, from our first conversation all the way to the end of our wedding. Chris was extremely responsive, kind, and ...
fun to work with. Music is really important to us, so we provided a very extensive list of songs we wanted him to play (probably 4+ hours worth of music, haha). He played these songs and other songs that fit into the entire vibe of our wedding day. There was no song that we didn’t love and we had many guests come up to us, complimenting him. Chris was a thoughtful and smooth MC, making sure the day was about us. He also cut two songs we wanted for our first dance since he also produces his own music, which was awesome.
If you’re looking for a DJ for your wedding, you’d be lucky to work with him!! We appreciate you, Chris!
Chris was so great tot work with from start to finish! He was so helpful and professional in the planning process and knew all of the little details to discuss to help make our wed...
ding day perfect. Day of, Chris had an awesome set up, helped everyone run smoothly and played music that had everyone up and dancing! He really went above and beyond and accommodated all requests to make sure that we were happy on our big day. We can't wait to plan another big event and hire him again!

dancing. He was even able to accommodate a last minute microphone request for our ceremony on less than 24 hours notice. We highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for a wedding DJ.
Chris was the best DJ we could of asked for! Chris went above and beyond for us, the unlimited amount of support he gave us through our planning process was more then we expected. ...
Chris really listens to who you are as a a couple finds music that fits your taste. He is very organized and all of his equipment is top notch. We can honestly say our wedding wouldn’t be the same with out Chris. THANK YOU!
Chris recently provided DJ services for our daughter’s rather formal graduation party in a very large ballroom. Everything about Chris exceeded expectations. Very professional, eas...
y to work with and prompt with communications. The party was wonderful and our guests danced the night away. Chris was set up well in advance of the party and the music was just what we wanted. Chris was very kind and thoughtful. Although our party was not a wedding, it was a formal event and we received many compliments. I highly recommend working with Chris for any type of event. You won’t be disappointed!
I am so disappointed in the DJ services Chris provided for my wedding ceremony. I hired him based off of all the good reviews I read, so I just want to warn other brides of what ha...
ppened to me. Chris did not only not play the songs I chose for my wedding ceremony - he did not play anything at all when my bridal party entered or when I walked down the aisle. I was so heartbroken to be walking down the aisle to dead silence and I had no idea what was going on or why the music was not playing. What was still worse is that the mic that Chris gave my officiant was not functioning properly - it was cutting out after every other word and no one could understand what was being said. I was just so embarrassed and sad. I had never considered that hiring the wrong DJ could literally ruin my wedding ceremony. Chris never explained why his equipment did not work or why he didn't perform his job at the most critical moment.
We got married 8/7/21 and Chris was our DJ. He was absolutely amazing the entire process from hire to execution! Chris really understood our vision and created an entire night of o...
ur favorite music! Guests danced the night away! Chris was very professional and courteous and so accommodating to our every request! He was completely on top of our timeline and every announcement . As an added bonus he was also the most reasonably priced DJ we had ever come across! Highly recommend you to hire him for any event you may have!
It was a pleasure to work with Chris for our June 2021 wedding. Chris was very responsive over email and then also via phone once we got closer to the wedding date. His pricing was...
very reasonable and even included lighting - it was a steal. We met prior to the wedding to review our music choices for the ceremony/entrances/first/parent dances as well as our "vibe" for dinner and dancing music. On the wedding day, he arrived early to set up as we were married at a beach hotel where the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were all on property but a little spread out. The wind and waves on the beach made for a challenging ceremony set up but Chris did great considering the circumstances. Our chosen music went flawlessly and Chris even prepared beforehand ensuring that our dances were the appropriate length, editing songs so that it felt like natural transitions. He pumped up our guests with some MC'ing during the reception and the dance floor was full until the very end of the wedding. We would highly recommend working with Chris for your wedding!
We can not say enough kind words about our experience working with Chris. He was responsive, helpful, creative, and was willing to do anything to make our wedding special. He did s...
ome amazing work editing our songs to accommodate the style or length we were looking for. He even got our family dancing on the dance floor which we weren't expecting. We are beyond thrilled that we picked Chris to DJ our wedding. I highly recommend you hire him to DJ your wedding. You will be making a fantastic decision!!!
Chris did such a fantastic job as the DJ for our wedding. Not only was he great on the actual day, but he also helped out tremendously before hand. We had no idea just how many son...
gs we needed and where we needed to put them but Chris gave us great recommendations that made the whole thing seamless. Chris also arrived very early to setup in our ceremony room and reception! He was also great providing us with extra lighting at our venue that really took the place to a whole new level. I can not recommend him highly enough.
