hat and weddings. After finding about 5 options, I printed multiple photos from each’s webpage, lined them up, and randomly asked like 15 people which they thought was better. Every single person picked Abbie’s. Even better, she was at a median price point amongst the group. Her and Jen turned out to be amazing. Aside from being more than willing to capture the unique pre-wedding photos we were requesting, Abbie came out to a mini church wedding (we held the night before) for us, and her and Jen organized the heck out of our wedding day. Hiring Abbie was like getting a photographer and a wedding coordinator all in one. She organized the whole wedding day timeline in advance for us, worked with our other vendors, suggested other people to help us (that turned out to be amazing), and her and Jen were on site the day of the event guiding us every step of the way. Looking back now, I can truly say that investing in this was worth it; Trying to go with a value option here would have been a disaster. Additionally, our photos turned out A++. We didn’t just get a few nice photos here and there; Like 2,000 of our photos were framable quality. The hardest part was actually the hours We spent trying to decide which ones to pick for albums and prints. Finally, my husband and I are plus sized people. Lots of photographers struggle with shooting plus size folks; Abbie and Jen didn’t. Our photos could be pictures from a fashion magazine.

he perfect DJ for our reception. She helped (wrote) our timeline for the day. She gave us advice on so many things prior to the wedding day that made the day perfect when it arrived. And the photos!!! Omg the photos. We first met Abbie in 2012 when she took my daughter’s senior pictures, and on that day, my daughter said she wanted Abbie to be her wedding photographer when the day came. Why? Because Abbie knew how to make her feel a) beautiful and b) comfortable. She’s as good with people as she is with the camera and that’s saying a LOT because she’s amazing with the camera!

From the very beginning, I could tell that working with Abbie would be more than a simple contractual relationship. She patiently listened to my nightmare of vendor searching, consoled me, and even gave me recommendations for photographers OTHER than herself should she not be available on my wedding day or if I simply ended up not liking her style (obviously not the case). Our first meeting with Abbie was in her adorable office space in the basement of her home. She invited me, my fiance, as well as my parents and older sister. I was sold by her personality already, but after seeing the beautiful wall art/home decor prints of her work in person, I was 100% in. Abbie's picture are more than just "social media pretty". They are pieces of art--timeless art that you will adorn your home, your parent's/in-law's, and even your children's homes with if you hand your items down. Her photography style is simply stunning and she stays away from the cheesy, inauthentic types of wedding pictures that will inevitably have you rolling your eyes at 20 years from now. Abbie was not available on my wedding day, but her other lead photographers, Heather and Jen were. Heather did our engagement pictures on a very windy and crowded day at Forest Park, but you would never know it from looking at them. She and Abbie had already done their homework and scouted out spots throughout the park that were right in line with what Jake and I had said we were aiming for style wise. Heather made us feel at ease and was so fun to work with! She even helped me execute a surprise for my fiance during the engagement session where I gave my fiance custom made Blues Jerseys. (PS Abbie didn't charge me for the extra outfit with these either!). When it came time to pick out which prints I would want in which sizes, Abbie graciously invited me over and went through each photo and size option and helped me choose which would best suit our home and style, which I REALLY appreciated. I struggle with making these kinds of decisions, especially with all the stress of wedding planning. A week or so before the wedding, Abbie/Heather had us all over to the office to discuss game day plans. And by "us" I mean the majority of our vendor team- our planner (Grace Freeman, Saving Grace Occasions), videographer, my parents, my fiance, and myself. This was key to coordinating the day of details re photo/video spots, timing, etc. Keep in mind this was during peak wedding season, so Abbie was bonkers-busy, but you would never have known it. Heather and Jen did nothing short of an exceptional job on our wedding day. They were professional, did a great job rallying the bridal party (*cough* groomsmen *cough*), and got shots that still bring tears to my eyes when I look at them today. They listened to my preferences and went out of their way to get every special shot I was hoping for- including a SPOT ON "Bridesmaids" style picture with my girls that actually looked cute, not cheesy and overly posed. I cannot thank them enough for capturing our day and being here for us through this whole crazy wedding planning process. ATP is more than a vendor, they're family.

We had several photo shoots over the city including bridges, by water and I think my favorite ones were on the parking garage! She is very punctual and is organized for day of events. We had 30 mins to take photos after our ceremony at the Old Cathedral. We were able to get all our family shots in quickly including both full huge families! She’s amazing! Hire her!
