rom the second I met with her via phone, I knew she was incredible. Abby is sweet, professional, talented, kind, genuine, goofy, and you feel like you're her best friend after talking to her for five minutes! This is just her as a person....now onto my experience. During our engagement session, she was great at making us both feel comfortable and natural. These photos are ones that we will cherish forever and she got some incredible candid ones with the most breathtaking views!!! I thought it couldn't get any better than these. Then, our wedding happened. Pre-wedding Abby had reviewed my timeline with my planner and ensured everything was good to go. The second she showed up in our bridal suite she met every single one of my bridesmaids and remembered ALL of their names (and I had a big wedding party!!!) She was taking photos left and right and getting every single detail shot I could have ever wanted. I loved having Abby around so much it was almost like she was part of our bridal party crew! Then came bride/groom portraits right downtown DC. We're talking random people taking our pictures...cheering..etc, etc. Abby somehow managed to get people to move (she's a boss) and also made our pictures look like we were the only people downtown D.C. that day. Bridal party & family portraits she was able to corral a lot of people, maintain control, keep the schedule on time, and ensure everyone looked and felt their best. During our reception, Abby brought over an iPad with a few sneak peek images from our day. These brought me to tears because she made my dream day a reality and the pictures captured it better than I could have ever imagined! My friends and family won't stop commenting on our photos are and I couldn't be more thankful that I was lucky enough to have AGP as my photographer!

her clients feel like they are her only clients. Abby makes it a priority to really get to know her clients--from phone calls, in-person meetings, questionnaires, etc.--so that when the wedding day arrives the client feels like a close friend is there celebrating with them. Speaking from experience, it is so much easier to pose for hundreds of photos when you are comfortable with the person behind the lens! My husband and I were lucky enough to snag one of Abby's open weekends for our May 2016 wedding. We were nervous (and camera-shy) going into our engagement session, but Abby chatted and joked with us during the entire sunrise session which immediately put us at ease. On our wedding day it felt like we were spending time with an old friend! There weren’t any uncomfortable or awkward poses, and everything felt so natural. The pictures are stunning and our family and friends keep raving about our incredible photographer. Everyone loves Abby and her amazing talent! s how much of a sweetheart Abby is! From the very first email response, Josh and I knew we needed her to be our photographer. We even changed our initial date so that she would be available (yes, she really is THAT awesome!). Throughout the process, Abby really becomes more like a friend than just your photographer which makes it so much more enjoyable. She does an engagement session so that you are introduced to being in front of her camera and get used to it beforehand, which is a huge help. Abby even went out of her way to travel 2 hours for ours so that we could do the pictures in a place that was special to us. On our wedding day we had scheduled in plenty of time for photos before the ceremony, as well as a first look and even though we ended up about 20 minutes behind at one point (while getting ready), Abby got all of the pictures completed with no trouble. She made sure to get a list of details I wanted shot and was a blast to work with. Both of our families and the bridal party enjoyed working with her. Another thing I really loved about Abby's photography is that she doesn't just take the stuffy wedding photos. She takes creative, fun photos and they really felt personal to Josh and I. By the time we returned from our honeymoon our photos were already in a online album for us to look at. As a wedding planner, I've never seen wedding photos come back to a couple so quickly and it was an awesome post-honeymoon present to come home to! red to was not available on our day. THANK GOD FOR THAT! Whether you spend 30 seconds, or 3 hours looking at Abby's photos on her blog, it doesn't matter. You will love every single image. Meeting with Abby in person is the same thing, whether you're with her for seconds or hours, there's no way you won't love her. We had our engagement photos done with Abby in early November 2011, where we were first able to witness her talent first hand. Since it was the first time we had ever posed for photos, we were definitely nervous! Abby was so comfortable in what she was doing, and that rubbed off on us as well. Our photos were absolutely gorgeous! I also worked with Abby to do a boudoir photo shoot as a gift to my husband. She rented out a room in a swanky, modern fancy hotel, hired a hair and makeup professional, and gave me yummy champagne and chocolate to make me feel at ease. If I do say so myself, the photos were totally awesome, and made me feel like a model straight out of the magazines! As we prepared for our wedding day, Sept. 1, 2012, Abby was 2 steps ahead of me and sent me sample timelines to prepare me for what the day of would be like. She showed up early, and stayed until the very end. ALWAYS with a smile on her face. We've got our photos now and I am just thrilled with how they turned out, looking at them is like reliving the wedding all over again. Working with Abby, is like planning a wedding with a good friend. She is so kind, so full of energy and life, and so passionate about photography. If you are concerned about your budget, don't be. I would sacrifice any other aspect of our wedding as long as it meant that Abby could be our photographer. The wedding is now over, and the pictures are going to be the most wonderful keepsake to show our children some day!
