Abby Lauren Makeup and Hair

ting ready that much more memorable. Abby’s makeup style made me feel elegant and natural in my own skin. Kaori is a wizard on hair - creating an updo that was beautiful, comfortable, and withstanding of the “jump test”. Emma and Cendy took great care of the wedding party and blending right in. If you are looking for a hair makeup artist that will make you laugh, occupy your mother-in-law, and leave you naturally stunning, Abby and her team are for you.

ling to travel to my hotel. Abby went above and beyond. She not only made me feel incredibly beautiful, but she was also flexible when we had to reschedule due to unexpected weather. My makeup was perfect, both in person and in photographs, and it lasted flawlessly throughout the day. I was so impressed with the products she used that I've even purchased some for myself. On top of everything, Abby is incredibly friendly and a joy to chat with. You will not regret booking her!

hen I was having second thoughts about my hair trial (nothing wrong with the execution, just a matter of my preference), she was immediately responsive in setting up a second trial for me, and I had a blast gabbing with her in the studio. We had Jaden and Cendy on makeup and Emma and Lynn on hair - they were all absolutely incredible! They took the inspo photos everyone brought and made them a reality - and did a phenomenal job not only for me, but also for my bridesmaids, bridesman, and the MOB and MOG. They made us feel very comfortable as they got us glammed up, and everyone's hair and makeup held up so nicely throughout the day! I cannot recommend Abby Lauren Makeup and Hair enough.

up easy. Everyone in my wedding party looked INCREDIBLE! We worked with Emma and Cendy and just couldn't have been happier. They were kind, professional, and SO GOOD at what they do. They really helped all of us be relaxed and enjoy the process of getting ready. I hope to have the opportunity to work with them again in the future. Thank you!

photographer, Justin mcCallum, for my wedding. From the first call we had, Abby and I clicked immediately and I knew that she would be able to bring my makeup vision to life. My mom and I each had a trial with her and Abby nailed the look the first go around. I had done a couple of other trials and was coming in a little wary, but I showed Abby what I was thinking and she didn't just look at the reference images and start working - she heard my concerns and my asks and made me feel so taken care of. Originally Abby was just going to do makeup for my mom, MIL, MOH, and me but after our trial, I expanded the list to include all of my bridesmaids as well. On the day of my wedding, My group could not stop raving about Abby and her beautiful work. She made us all feel so beautiful and our best selves. She and I worked together to build out the schedule and even when people were running late, she was flexible and went with the flow. I loved working with Abby and would jump at the chance to work with her again for any reason.

d with my makeup and hair. If I ever need these services again, I have no doubt that i’d reach back out to them! Thank you!!!

to communicate with, so detailed, and she made me feel like I was her top priority. Kaori did my hair and was so fun and easy to work with. Lynn was also part of our day-of team and made my niece/flower girl feel like a princess. I had Abby & Kaori stay with me for touch-ups through my cocktail hour into a second look, and wow, they care so much about making you look perfect and feel so special on your wedding day. Abby will be a friend for life after my wedding. I can’t say enough good things about her & her team. 10/10 recommend!

an easy calm and friendly way about her that makes sitting in her chair fun and relaxing. She was always there to answer questions leading up to my daughters wedding . The quality of her make up was amazing. I even bought what she used on me it was the great! Use Abby Lauren for your next event. You won't be disappointed.

ey were so sweet, took time to help us get ideas for hair, and made sure we were happy in the end. Would definitely recommend for weddings or other events!

beautiful than I had ever have, as she did very natural makeup and enhanced all my features. From the moment I booked with her it was just easy. She answered all my questions, and as we got closer helped me to book my trial. I was blown away with how it came out, and I knew I would be set for the day of my wedding. She traveled to Long Island for my wedding, arrived early to set up, and made my entire party feel at ease, including my mother who never wears makeup. Even more so, she fit right in just as an old friend would. In terms of service, Abby killed it on my makeup. It came out exactly as I wanted, and I felt like I was on top of the world. She is truly an artist, and I could not recommend her more! I hope I have another excuse in the future to work with her honestly. I want to also shout out Andrea, who did my hair. We met at the trial and she was able to execute exactly how I wanted it to look. We made one slight adjustment for the day of, and it lasted the whole night, despite the high wind we had that day. I am so grateful that she was my hair stylist that day, and highly recommend her as well! Thank you so so much Abby and Andrea! Truly the dream team!

to spend my morning with! I truly can’t have imagined booking anyone else for my makeup. She also did my bridesmaids and my mom. We all have different styles, skin tones and preferences and she knocked each look out of the park! We loveeeeeee you Abby!!!!!!

ponses, she was organized, and helped me navigate hair and makeup styles as someone who doesn't wear makeup on the daily. I'd highly recommend booking her team for any special occasion, but especially for a wedding. She was a joy to have around during the morning of the day of the wedding. Her team kept the vibes positive and fun; no stress when working with her, which is what every bride deserves!

my vision and brought it to life perfectly on the day of my ceremony. The makeup was stunning and lasted all day through our all of our adventures. I will be recommending Abby to everyone I know!

l as thoughts on altering both hair and makeup after my trial and on wedding day. Our bridal party loved working with Abby's team. Everyone made us feel welcomed, special, and excited for the big day! Abby communicates with professionalism, clarity, and warmth throughout the whole process. Thank you, Abby, Andrea, and your team, for such a wonderful experience!

l the quality of work matched what I saw. The communication leading up to the day was excellent. They were both so fun and kind and made the experience that much more entertaining! I am thankful that they both made me look gorgeous but did so in a simple and elegant way. Abby did not cake on a ton of makeup but knew exactly how to complement my features. They are both very skilled and I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks for helping make our day perfect!

hair and makeup lasted perfectly all day and night! I could not recommend Abby and her team more!

and we had a great first call where we talked through everything from what I wear daily, what I wanted in bridal makeup, what my bridesmaids wanted and a brief day of timeline. I had such a great experience with Abby for makeup that I decided to switch vendors for hair and had an amazing experience with Kaori!! Abby did an amazing job making sure my makeup was ready for the long day and many photos but also made it look and feel natural and like my normal self. Kaori did an amazing job with everyone’s hair and took such great care with mine. I showed her an inspiration photo and she talked through it with me and we found a great look that was just what I wanted. It lasted the entire day and was even beautiful when I took it down the next day. From start to finish, Abby and Kaori were easy to work with, responsive, helpful and most importantly such a great people to have in the room the morning of your wedding!!!

had dreamed of in terms of a striking but soft and natural look. I couldn’t recommend working with Abby highly enough.

edding day, but she went above and beyond to communicate clearly and in a timely fashion to make sure her team would be ready for the big day! We still talk on Instagram now! I worked with Andrea for makeup and Bailey for hair. It was an absolute dream! It’s like getting your hair and makeup done by two close friends who bring out the absolute best in you! They were so fun to talk to and work with, but most importantly, they made my vision come to life and made me look above and beyond more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! They also did the hair and makeup of my twin sister, my mom, my mother-in-law, and my sister-in-law, and I cannot express enough how beautiful they all looked! Whether young or mature skin, long or short hair, Andrea and Bailey are so talented! Additionally, Emma did makeup and Lynn did hair for my bridesmaids. I cannot rave about them enough! My bridesmaids had different visions and styles for hair and makeup, and they all looked 10/10. Absolutely stunning! Thank you so much to the whole team at Abby Lauren. I love you all! I am so happy you were a part of my special day.

go as well as hoped. Abby spoke with me over the phone for over an hour and listened to what I had felt unhappy with. We then met for a trial; Abby was not only patient, but she talked me through every step of what she was doing, and even allowed me to do my own eyebrow makeup (I'm finicky with those, haha) and welcomed all my questions throughout. On the day of my wedding, Abby did makeup for 8 of us! Most of my wedding party does not wear makeup on the day-to-day and they all shared that Abby was kind, patient, and talked them through each step of their application. Abby's presence was not only welcomed, it fit right in with the joy of the morning and also helped ease any nerves. My makeup was not only beautiful but lasted from 12 pm to 3:30 am! And I am a sweaty girl. I even left my lashes on for our family brunch the following morning and got compliments on how natural they looked. Long review, long, I cannot recommend Abby enough. She is thorough, kind, patient, and flexible. Her makeup enhances everyone's natural beauty and will stay through the hours of your day, rain, and sweat. 10/10 recommend!

suggestions and made adjustments if needed. On top of all that, we had fun!! Chatting with them in the bridal suite felt like they were part of the girls! I am so grateful to them and cannot recommend enough!

edible it was working with her team – especially Valeria, who gave me really helpful suggestions regarding my makeup, and ultimately delivered what I had envisioned. I hadn’t wanted to look too made up, just enough coverage to make the photos look good, and that’s exactly what I got. It’s been 6 months since our wedding, and my maid of honor and I still talk about how much we also loved Bailey, who styled our hair. Valeria and Bailey were with us all morning while we were getting ready, and I honestly kind of miss them. Such great people and really talented. They made the morning of our wedding a little bit more fun and special.

dependable, personable, caring and most of all, they execute your makeup and hair vision effortlessly. The team is SO talented. You will not go wrong hiring Abby for any special occasion that you want to look fabulous for!

They went above and beyond to communicate with me proactively before the wedding, kept us organized and running ahead of schedule (!) day-of, and best of all, helped us look like the most beautiful, confident, and natural versions of ourselves. I also want to note how much I appreciated how well the team listened to my thoughts and feedback during the process. After my makeup trial, I had a couple of changes, and Valeria implemented them flawlessly and with care -- which is not something everyone can do well. I couldn't have been happier with how I looked and felt on my wedding day!

listened to my concerns, and applied my make-up exactly how I had envisioned. Lynn was equally as amazing with my hair. I wasn’t sure how I wanted my hair styled and after looking a picture of my dress Lynn came up with the perfect style! I could not have been happier with my makeup and hair at my trial and that took away so much anxiety the day of my wedding.

and cool presence which eased my nerves while getting ready for the big day. Abby is funny, kind, and respectful. I would choose her over and over again to do my makeup for any event.

om we were working with for getting ready. They listened to the look we wanted, and my bridal party and I all looked our best.

d, and so fun to be around which made the morning of the wedding that much more relaxing. She did my make up and Bailey did my hair - both of which were perfect for the big day. I also had so much fun during my trial and felt like I was just hanging out with girlfriends. Everyone in my party was so impressed and loved the entire HMU process. Thank you, Abby!!

axed, and beautiful… it’s a gift! Her talent and professionalism are unmatched. 10/10 will recommend to everyone!

up, I was initially nervous about finding the right balance between looking glamorous for my wedding and still feeling like myself. Abby struck that balance perfectly. Abby took the time to understand my personal style and preferences, and she made sure to create a look that accentuated my features rather than overpowering them. Not only is Abby exceptionally talented, but she also has a warm presence that immediately put me at ease. This is exactly what a bride needs on her wedding day! Her professionalism and friendly demeanor contributed to an enjoyable experience during a day that can be quite overwhelming. Choosing Abby was undeniably the best decision I made for my wedding. Thank you, for making me feel like a true bride!

best-version-of-myself that I was hoping for. She is just so talented and fun to be around! She also has a calming presence, which was so needed that day. I highly recommend her!

ay! From the very first call (9 months before my wedding), Abby was beyond incredible. She immediately made me feel like I could rely on her and I trusted that she would make sure my wedding look was everything I wanted it to be. In the 9 months leading up to the wedding, she answered every single one of my questions within hours of me sending an email. The day of was perfect - Abby and Bailey executed my vision beyond my wildest dreams! They were excellent with my mom, MIL, SIL, and cousins and did a great job keeping us on schedule. Not only are they extremely talented, but they are also FUN and personable! When looking for "the one" for hair and make-up for your wedding it's, of course, important that they are skilled, but to me, it was equally important that they fit the vibe on my wedding day since they are with you all day. Abby excelled in all those areas! Book her ASAP :-)

p so I was particular about a natural look. Abby totally got it and really listened. Everything about the experience was great- the communication, the products used, and the ease I felt working with Abby. I can’t recommend her enough!

e. I loved all the products that Abby used and I even ordered some of what she used on me for my look when we finished. (She was happy to give me all the info) And she was fast! Before I knew it my makeup was done and it looked perfect!! She was also excellent when it came to doing the makeup for my bf’s son (a 16 yr old) who had never had any makeup done before. Thanks to Abby and her amazing team our headshots came out perfectly!!! I highly recommend Abby for all your makeup and hair needs! Her team is the best!

thout any pricking pins. Despite having 3B curly hair, she straightened it flawlessly, and by the end of the night, there was no frizz in sight. Her talent and skill truly made my wedding day hair a whimsical masterpiece!

my curly hair, I had stayed away from salons for over a decade — I only trusted myself to take care of my hair. Lynn changed that for me. From the moment I sat in her chair, she exuded confidence and genuine care. It's rare to find someone who not only understands the intricacies of curly hair but also approaches it with such expertise. Lynn's talent truly shone when she effortlessly created an updo for me, a bridesmaid with unique hair challenges. Her kindness and patience were evident as she delicately worked with my thinning hair, embracing its natural beauty. It was more than just a hairstyling session; it was a testament to Lynn's commitment to making everyone feel beautiful, regardless of their individual struggles. For someone like me, entrusting my hair to a stylist is a significant decision. Lynn not only met but exceeded my expectations. The result was a breathtakingly romantic hairstyle that not only complemented the occasion but also made me feel confident and radiant. Lynn's passion for her craft is palpable, and her ability to create magic with hair is nothing short of extraordinary. I can confidently say that she has not only gained a loyal client in me but also someone who deeply appreciates the artistry and heart she brings to hairstyling. If you're looking for a stylist who understands and celebrates the uniqueness of your hair, Lynn is the one.

s are extremely happy with her services, and they even refer her to their friends. She is highly efficient and detailed, always finishing on time or early. Abby’s hair styling team is also hard working and professional. She is my first call when I book a client, and I know I have my “A” team when she confirms. I highly recommend!!

taking photos in the scorching hot sun and dancing my butt off on the dance floor, the makeup was still perfect! Thank you so much again to Abby and her wonderful team! Can't wait for her to do my makeup for my own wedding!

a super natural no makeup look. Abby knocked it out of the park. She was extremely patient( which is hard to find now a days) and so kind and listened to everyones needs. She was a treat to be around. She really is an amazing makeup artist! I will 100% be using her for future events. YOU NEED TO HIRE HER AND HER TEAM!!

nicative, inclusive, thoughtful, and highly skilled for your big day, Abby is your girl. I hired her as soon as I met her to do the makeup for my wedding and my 6 bridesmaids. Not only did she exceed all of my expectations, but her presence on my wedding day helped calm my nerves. She has an infectious optimism, was inclusive and attentive to the unique needs of folks within my wedding party, and genuinely executed our makeup and hair to perfection.
