Abby is absolutely amazing at what she does! My husband and I could not be more happy with our photos. She perfectly captured every part of our special day. She was responsive, reliable, friendly and so fun! I am so glad we picked her to photograph our wedding day.

I was in the process of hiring Abby when we found out we had to cancel our wedding. Abby was professional, kind, positive, and encouraging in such a difficult time. She was quick to answer any question or address any concern. More than anything else, she was extraordinarily flexible and approachable. She really put us at ease and would have been a great addition to our wedding had we not cancelled it.

Abby was such a wonderful photographer. She did both the engagement photo shoot and the wedding photography for me and my husband. Doing the engagement photo shoot really helped us ease into it and so we definitely look more comfortable in our wedding photos. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Abby for our engagement and wedding photography. I came across Abby through google and the knot photography reviews. She had stellar reviews and her photographer style and aesthetic was everything that I wanted. Abby really made us feel comfortable, especially during our engagement series, this was the first time myself or my husband had professional photos taken, especially with how intimate the experience is. Abby directs your poses and helps lighten the experience. Abby maintained excellent communications through start to finish over a year from engagement to wedding. Abby captured what we were looking for and was very flexible and she flawlessly moved and directed the photography throughout our wedding day, helping to keep everything on schedule and to capture all the small details to the big moments. Abby is an incredibly talented photographer and we are so happy that we will get to enjoy our engagement and wedding photos for the years and years to come.

Abby was absolutely amazing! My husband wasn't the most comfortable going into our engagement session, but Abby was so wonderful at making us both comfortable and she gave us direction when we didn't quite know what to do. AMAZING!! Abby was incredible! I am in love with the picture she took of our wedding day. She was really good at rounding up big groups of people and she made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She gave us a few sneak peek pictures just a week after the wedding and the rest came a couple weeks after that. I am so so happy with everything she did. She is completely amazing!

Everything about Abby was amazing! She was open to any ideas and suggestions, but also had creative ideas of her own. She was incredibly flexible and was able to do our engagement shoot with barely any time notice. I had a few different locations that I had in mind and she gave me feedback on what she thought was best. Abby was also fine with us having our daughter and dog in some pictures which was awesome. Our wedding was at the Mt. Hood Skibowl, which is somewhat difficult, but her and her second photographer were so accommodating. We were able to take any photos we wanted, but they also gave guidance which was extremely helpful. They were also super fun to work with! The turn around time for the photos was pretty fast for both the engagement session and the wedding. And we could not be happier with the way the photos turned out! They are so beautiful and captured the wedding perfectly. Also, the price for what we got was way better than any other photographer I considered. I have no complaints and would highly recommend Abby for any occasion!

My wife and I worked with Kate Holt, co-owner & lead photographer. When we first began the process of finding a wedding photographer, Kate was timely & responsive to our email communications, and she met us for coffee in our neighborhood to talk about vision, approach, style, preferences, and other parameters that would give us the experience we were looking for. My wife and I were both very specific about the aesthetic we had in our minds (thankfully my wife and I were on the exact same page -- though we both used very different language to articulate our ideas), and we came prepared with other photographer's portfolio examples to illustrate what we hoped to achieve (and we definitely did not like). This included examples from her local competitors, which she was not defensive about whatsoever. In fact, she encouraged us to send her more examples via email once our meeting was over to facilitate a continued refinement of what she was going to try to do for us. She arrived ahead of schedule, and guided my beautiful and nervous bride and I through an efficient and varied use of the venue space as backdrops of our photos. She was patient, easy to work with, and felt like a pleasant, professional contributor to the wedding proceedings without being obtrusive or awkward in any way shape or form. Finally, she was very gracious in sending us our photos according to our agreed timeframe, and we couldn't be more pleased.

Abby was a dream to work with! When our original plan to have a family friend photograph our wedding fell through, we were left to search the internet for a local photographer. I hired Abby to do our engagement and wedding pictures and she completely exceeded my expectations. She was super nice and friendly and her packages are completely affordable. My husband is not so comfortable behind a camera and she did an amazing job of making him feel at ease and gave just enough direction to get awesome pictures. There were some specific pictures I wanted to make sure we got and she took note of all my requests and fit them in. I got my pictures back from her quickly and they are THE BEST (full of natural light and not overly edited like you'll see with some photographers). If I ever need professional pictures for anything I'll be hiring Abby again!

Abby is so personable that you feel like you are best friends when you've only met once or twice. This was the most important thing for us in choosing a photographer - photographs always come out better when you are relaxed and being yourself. Abby brought out the best in us and made us feel like it was just us, even though she was snapping away. She was also incredibly professional, and now my mom is even saying she's our "family photographer". She's the toughest critique, so that's saying something! She' highly recommended!

Abby Rae is a younger, freelance photographer. She just totally gets it. She gets to know both of you really well, takes the time to figure out what your vision is, does not nickel and dime you. She gives you all of your photos edited and gives you full rein over them. She is incredibly reasonable in cost, too. You really could not get any better than Abby.
