This review has nothing to do with the quality of work that Abigail does, but the communication from her. The day of the shoot, the time continuously changed, which was fine for me because I was off that day. But if you had other plans the day of your shoot, it would be very difficult to accomodate. The shoot was amazing and Abigail made me feel super comfortable. Her hair and makeup team was also great! The communication issues started after the shoot. I did my shoot in August for my December wedding. I did not hear from Abigail again about my proofs until September which was about the timeline I expected. I responded with my favorites in 24 hours. I waited a month, and in beginning of October I reached our for an update with no response via email. I reached out again a few weeks later and I called, texted, and emailed and received a response that my album was being created. I did not hear from her again until middle of November, when I reached out for an update with again, no response. Five days before my wedding, I received that my album was ready but it was once again very difficult to coordinate a pick up with her. I had to call, text, and email multiple times. Finally, Abigail was able to drop off my album to my door which was wonderful and it did come the day before the wedding. Overall, the shoot experience was great but the lack of communication made this a very stressful experience.

Might be the hardest review I have ever written. I got married July 3rd 2021. Abigale and Andy are awesome, very fun and very nice people. They take great photos and really are a joy to hang out with. That being said, I never, in my LIFE been so blatantly ignored by a business owner. Especially one I have given a very large amount of money to, for one of the most special days of my life. From the engagement photos, to wedding photos, to albums and anything else in my package there was ZERO, and when I say zero I mean zero, communication. I basically had to beg them to answer me. I would call, text and email over and over and over and NOTHING. I never got sneak peeks of my engagement session or wedding photos. Both of which I had to harass them to even get. Finally got them both, WAY past the timeline in which I was promised (and was in my contract). Same goes for the album. The canvas was the final piece, waited MONTHS, followed up several times, finally I threatened to call my lawyer if I did not get what was owed to me and got a response. When I finally got the canvas, my husband looks like he has a wig on because they didn't crop out any of the officiants hair! So now I have this big canvas I waited forever for that looks like a joke. To put the icing on the cake, after all this, they couldn't even take the time to make sure they had our names right. Both the card for my album and note on the outside of my canvas say "Stephani and ED". My husbands name is AJ....

Abi and Andy are INSANELY TALENTED. Aside from this talent that’s enough to hire them for, they were a major part of why our wedding day was so fun. They were by our side the whole time telling us where to go and what to do which took all of the stress off of me. Their imagination in finding spots is so cool and if you go along with it then you’re in for some crazy awesome pictures. They work flawlessly together, it’s very obvious that they not only love what they do but they do it well. My biggest piece of advice for hiring wedding vendors is to hire people who you like their personality because this will make your whole day easy and fun, and you’ll like Abi and Andy!

TL/DR: pleasant, talented photographer, beautiful pictures, horrible communication. Anniversary shoot, not wedding. This experience was not a wedding, it was an annviersary shoot. The pictures were beautiful and the photoshoot experience was great. The rating came from the frustrating lack of communication throughout the entire process. Abigail was very pleasant and talented, but next to impossible to get ahold of. There was an issue getting us our proofs, which totally happens. We FINALLY got them and she told me to e-mail her when we'd chosen the ones we wanted. I did, and requested confirmation that she received them (given the previous issue). Nothing. I called, texted, and e-mailed. Nothing. I asked for a small bit of editing in one photo. Not done. I tried to follow up re. said editing via call, text, e-mail. Nothing. For what we needed, this was more of a frustration than an issue but if this was my wedding photographer I would have been miserable.

Rude, unresponsive, and overall terrible customer service. You’d have a better experience asking a random person at the dollar store to photograph your occasion

DO NOT BOOK FOR WEDDINGS total scam. I booked, and fully paid for them to be my wedding photographer. Entire bill was paid off. I provided eleven months notice when I needed to cancel services and they completely stopped responding. I sent several emails, they promised to call me and never did. Stole my money and won’t respond to any form of contact. Beware, these are total unprofessional scam artists. Zero professionalism

We could not have picked a better photography duo to capture our wedding day. Abi and Andy are true professionals: From the moment we booked them, we felt safe in their hands. They are fun, confident in their craft, and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera–a tough task for two people who don’t love taking photos and consider themselves among some of the least photogenic folks on the planet. Our engagement photos were absolutely stunning, and we cannot wait for our big wedding photo reveal! On the day of the wedding, nothing fazed them: they kept our bridal party relaxed and on schedule, and had us going to all different spots around our venue to capture the perfect shot! Post-ceremony, they were even able to sneak us away for some solo shots before helping us corral our families for photos–which is not an easy feat. Even the rain couldn’t stop them from getting us outside for some night photos! We are lucky to have found them and are so happy we were able to book them for our wedding, and truly hope we can work with them again in the future.

Abigail and Andy made me feel like a true princess on my wedding day (Abigail carried my dress from the hotel to the venue, and Allie fed me during cocktail hour while we were still taking pictures). Not only do they take AMAZING pictures but they do it in such an artistic way that makes it so memorable. They have a real talent of finding such awesome locations at the venue for pictures. Also, many weddings photographers can get in the way and ruin the view for the people attending but not these two you would not even recognize they were there and they were still able to capture every moment. We had them do our engagement shoot and wedding and I am so glad I chose them from the very first facetime conversation we had I knew I was going to have a great experience with them and they did not disappoint what so ever. I cannot wait to see how the pictures turned out but I already know they are going to be breathtaking.

Abigail and Andy are truly unbelievable. Just take one look at their work and it's plain to see how incredibly talented they are. Then you meet them. Their warmth and honest passion for what they do makes them a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Since they are such great people to be around, they create this comfortable atmosphere that brings the best out of everybody on the other side of the lens. Thanks to them we are able to look through those amazing photos and are taken right back to the day. What else could you ask for?

Yes. Just yes. Abi and Andy are the literal dream team! From the moment we booked them, we knew we were in good hands! With our package came an engagement shoot so we could get comfortable with them. We had the most fun day with Abi - one photo is better than the next! Just when I thought they couldn’t get any cooler, Covid hit. Before landing on our Drive-In movie plan, we tossed around at least 5 different plans. Abi and Andy were right there with us, sending suggestions, confirming dates and never saying no to our wild plans! Our photos tell a story, they are not overly posed and show our true selves. They are body positive and made us so comfortable, and it shows in our photos! Never have two people understood us more than Abi and Andy do! We have found our photographers, and new friends, for life!

Abigail and Andy shot our wedding on 10/04/19 and they were absolutely amazing. They are so laid back, chill, professional & kind. They made our day flow so smoothly and we are so so grateful to have had them photograph the most important day of our lives. We cannot want to see our photos but we are sure they will be perfect just like our engagement photos were.

Oh my gosh, words can't even describe how much we loved worked with Abigail and Andy! After our engagement photo session, we knew we picked the best possible photographers for our wedding. Our wedding day, August 12, 2017, flew by in a flash, but we can remember all of the small details...and hilarious ones (bouquet tossing gone wrong) through the amazing pictures they took. Abi and Andy are so personable and make your feel special! They have a great attitude and and exude positivity. Our formal pictures were fantastic, the candid shots beautiful, and our night shots were STUNNING. They really captured the raw emotion of the day! I tell everyone I can to consider using them for their wedding day! We would love to work with them again in the future!

I'm emotional even writing this review. There just aren't enough words to describe how amazing Anigial, Andy and the team are. We found them through wedding wire, met with them once and realized hiring them was a no brainer. They did our engagement pictures and they far and above exceeded our expectations. They are tremendously fun and have the greatest personalities for keeping the photo sessions efficient and enjoyable. The creativity of the photos is unbelievable. Abigail is also super patient with little ones in the wedding party. Their professionalism and energy is unmatched. The compliments from our guests, old and young just keep coming about how amazing our photographers were and how they were discreate but getting all of the special moments. . They are so attentive to detail and making the night everything you want it to be. The planning process was seamless and I never stressed about anything. Abigail and Andy are a dream come true! We had them photograph our wedding and our engagement pictures and we have received so many complements ! They are easy going , fun , awesome at what they do , and we are all friends now . They take their job to another level ! The personal touch they give in their work makes it even more special. Abi and Andy were utterly fantastic! A friend recommended them and the very first email, they have been wonderfully responsive and exceedingly friendly. Talking to them is like talking to an old friend. They make a great effort to get to know the couple and really personalize the experience. We booked an engagement session with them as well as the wedding day, and they came all the way to Atlanta for our engagement photos, without charging us an arm and a leg to do so. They have been wonderful to work with over a long distance, with Skype meetings and email communications. After the wedding we got about 900 photos, and they are absolutely gorgeous! I would absolutely book them again for any future photography needs. We did spend more than we were planning on for photography, but not outside the realm of reason and they are absolutely worth every single penny (and then some)!

Abigail and Andy did a wonderful job with our wedding and engagement pictures. They are easy to work with and take amazing pictures. They go beyond whats expected and are extremely professional. Im so glad we used them. We have gotten so many compliments from everyone who has viewed our pictures.

Abigail Gingerale Photography exceeded our expectations for our wedding photos (engagement photos too)! We were lucky enough to see their beautiful work through my brothers engagement and wedding photos we knew we wouldn't be let down. Abigail & Andy are professional, experts at what they do and go above and beyond to tailor their work to their customers wants. We recently had our photo viewing at my parents home where Abi, Andy and Katelyn came to show us our photos on a screen projector...little did we know the surprise we were about to have. They never told us but they had Katelyn video our wedding, the surprise and tears that came after viewing something we never would have expected. We were floored! Words cannot express how highly we recommend Abigail Gingerale to everyone. We were ready to write this review the night of the wedding. It didn’t feel like we had photographers at the wedding, it felt like our friends were there to celebrate with us. It was so comfortable and fun to work with them. But before we wrote our review we figured we should wait to see our pictures. Everyone told us that we would have to wait months to see the pictures. It was less than a month before we were able to see their work and we were blown away. Not only did they have our pictures ready, but they had a layout for our album ready to be seen. The photos are beautiful! They had great ideas that really show what skillful, artistic photographers they are. One of the main reasons we went with Abby and Andy was the night time portraits that we saw and we were not disappointed. Looking at the pictures it is like reliving the day. They captured every beautiful and meaningful moment. We cannot thank Abby and Andy enough for everything. We can’t wait to have them take pictures of the next meaningful event in our lives.

Abigail and Andy are truly the best, not only are they unbelievably organized (creating a timeline of events, shots, working with the other vendors) they are also super attentive and responsive. Our pictures are exactly what we asked for and so much more, they took our love of quirky shots and mixed in all the traditional shots they knew our moms would love! If you are looking for creative professionals who take their time to ensure you will always have your most cherished moments to share, look no further.

Abigail and Andy are two of the most amazing people we have ever met. They are so professional, creative and extremely talented! We started with our engagement session with them and immediately could not wait to do more! We ended up doing Christmas pictures and I did a boudoir shoot before the wedding. The day of the wedding was FANTASTIC. Abi and Andy run the show and make sure that everything is perfect! Their pictures are consistently amazing. They are an amazing team that cannot be matched because of their chemistry. We are so lucky to have had Abi and Andy as our photographers and now as our friends!
