Lori and her team were wonderful to work with! We had to replan our destination wedding to be local in just three weeks due to COVID (including holidays), and she was able to make use of some faux greenery and flowers I already had planned to use, as well as incorporating fresh florals. At our initial meeting, she was extremely friendly and personable, and was so easy to work with throughout the process! She was even able to provide additional items last-minute that I had not been able to find elsewhere for the centerpieces. Overall, Abloom was a joy to work with and helped our day come together seamlessly and beautifully!

Lori was phenomenal. period. I could not believe how helpful, informative, flexible and empathetic she and her team were (particularly around the many changes we had to make due to COVID-19). Throughout the entire process working with Lori, I felt that I had someone I could rely on for their expertise, and guidance. To be clear, I know nothing about floral, and gave Lori VERY little to go off of, mostly colors and a few adjectives (moody, textured and wild). When our wedding day finally came, we were BLOWN AWAY. Though we had to cancel our venue, our DJ, and many other original plans for our smaller, safer, backyard COVID wedding, this woman transformed our space into the vision I'd always had for the day, and really brought everything to life with her stunning arrangements. She even worked with us to incorporate our antique bottle collection, which made everything all the more special for us!

I worked with Lori from Abloom and m experience was wonderful! The florist we were going to use fell through about 3 weeks prior to the wedding. When we found Abloom, Lori was very responsive and professional. We filled out a questionarre of what we wanted and spoke over the phone. I had a cascading wildflower bouquets and they were absolutely beautiful! The ceremony arch was also decorated to match. I highly recommend!

Beautiful flowers and super friendly service!

I grew up in Walkersville so Abloom has always been the spot to get beautiful flowers. My husband and I weren't big on getting them because of the cost, we had no desire to spend a couple grand on something that is just going to die. But Lori totally worked within our budget (1200) and we had stunning flowers. She listened to the few specifics I wanted and what she created for us was even better than i could hope for. Each boutonniere was also labeled which was fabulous since I had been at a previous wedding where no one knew who was getting one or not. They even provided mason jars with water to put our bouquets in after the ceremony and were flexible on delivery time. Wish I could post photos cause they were stunning!

I am so glad that we chose Abloom for our wedding flowers. From the first consultation, Lori was so easy to work with and turned my Pinterest board into my dream list of flowers for our event. Then, when we decided that we needed to cut back to help stay in budget, she and Emily worked with me to reduce costs and provided creative ideas for how to keep the flowers within our price range without sacrificing the overall look I wanted. When our wedding day came, I was blown away by how beautiful everything was. The star of the show was a floral chandelier over out dance floor and the stunning bridal and bridesmaids bouquets that doubled as centerpieces. She even accommodated a last minute request for flowers on my cake. Overall, I highly recommend Abloom.

Abloom made my wedding flower dreams come true! The staff was very nice and professional, made suggestions, listened to all my requests, and reviewed all my pictures thoroughly. My bouquets, boutonnières, and centerpieces arrived mid morning, perfect timing for my wedding at two. We rented vases from them as well, and they were great. I even added three tables at the last minute, but they still made it work!

We chose Abloom from a friends recommendation, and we couldn't have been happier! They were very flexible and did exactly what we wanted. Every question or email was answered quickly, and they were always super friendly. So glad we chose them, and would definitely recommend them to others.

Lori is a master of her craft. Abloom did the flowers for my wedding and 2 sister in laws. We all had different concepts that we gave to Lori and team. All 3 weddings were absolutely gorgeous. I gave Lori very loose ideas of what I liked and she turned the flowers, table arrangements, ceremony awning and other décor more beautiful then what I could have ever imagined. Let her take the lead on trends and what will look good together. After all, she is the expert.

Throughout the planning process Lori and her team were wonderful to work with. Always good with communication, following up, and documenting. I never worried about a thing with flowers on my wedding day because I knew they had everything taken care of. My bouquet was an absolute work of art, and she incorporated my grandmother’s jewelry and lace to make it even more special. The centerpieces and ceremony decorations made Ceresville an even more beautiful venue than it already is. Thank you so much for making our special day so beautiful.

They are fabulous. They understood exactly what the bride wanted, accommodated our very tight availability for meeting, and our short turn around. The chuppah was perfectly understated, and everything fit the rustic theme. Bridal party bouquets perfectly complimented the dresses. Everything was perfect.

Lori and the Abloom team was a dream to work with. Lori and her team are FANTASTIC!!!! I still cannot believe how perfect my flowers were for my wedding. Lori was great about getting my ideas and opinions on what I expected out of my floral arrangements. I can say for sure that the end result was spot on. I am so glad that I went to Abloom and chose them as my wedding florist!

Lori was great to work with for my wedding! I had no 'must haves' as far as colors or particular flowers. In my first meeting with her, I shared the wedding colors, and she came up with something beautiful and soft for my bouquet and something bolder for the bridesmaids. My wedding happened to be in November but it wasn't necessarily a "fall wedding". Instead of pumpkins as the centerpieces, she came up with the idea of red apples (and my mother wanted to use lanterns) which went perfectly with the bridesmaids bouquets. Everything was lovely and I wouldn't have changed a thing! Abloom also took care of everything for me and was very familiar with the location (Ceresville Mansion) so I knew she would know where to go for delivery, how to set up, etc so that was one less thing to worry about. Overall, I would definitely use Abloom again for another occasion and I highly recommend them!

I have used ABloom for 2 of my daughter's weddings. The last one was just October 2016. The flowers were fresh, and over the top gorgeous! My daughter, the bride was elated with how beautiful they turned out. The staff at ABloom are wonderful to work with. They are efficient and organized. All flowers got delivered on time to the church and venue. I highly recommend ABloom for your special event.

We had a great experience with Abloom! They provided the flowers for just our church ceremony and did a fabulous job :) It was a totally seamless process in terms of initial correspondence/booking/payment and more importantly, the arrangements were gorgeous and completely fit the theme and vibe of our wedding as a whole with minimal input from us -they totally took the lead and it was so nice to be surprised walking into the church by how lovely everything looked. Highly recommend!

If I could give more stars I would. Abloom did an absolutely spectacular job at my wedding this past month. I was able to simply provide a few examples of colors and styles that I like and discussed over the phone my theme and other basic details of the day. With this, Lori was able to transform my venue into the perfect wedding atmosphere for my husband and I. The flowers were beautiful but also the creative decorations to accompany them were a hit. My favorite touch was the chandeliers hanging from the tent which looked awesome with the sunset :)

Abloom is incredible! The bride and I met with Lori and discussed the type of fall formal outdoor wedding that the bride and my son, the groom, wanted. We had one picture of a white pumpkin used as a vase for the centerpieces for the tables. We didn't like the flowers in the pumpkin, but we did love the idea of a fall wedding without the usual orange, burgundy, etc. Lori undersood what we wanted from the beginning. We were there for probably 3 hours brainstorming. Not only did she understand what we wanted, but she was going to help us make it the most unique, beautiful wedding ever. Abloom was the first florist on our list of florist to visit. We discarded the list when we returned to the car! Abloom was everything that we wanted and more! Why waste time going to another florist? I wish everyone could see how Lori took our first meeting, that one picture, and a large quantity of mercury glass pumpkins, gourds, and tiered candleholders that we found and turned it into the most beautiful and magical wedding that I have ever attended! Yes, yes, I am the groom's mother, but what I say is true! The bride and groom had a beautiful, unique, fairytale wedding thanks to a lot of people/vendors, but Abloom is at the top of that list!

Abloom was fantastic! We had a very small ceremony and private dinner party at a venue they work with on a regular basis. We needed only a bridal bouquet, boutonniere, and seven centerpieces - small / simple / humble by most standards for a wedding. It was very easy to work with them. Due to our hectic schedules and our very brief wedding planning we were unable to visit the store, but we were able to talk by phone and send them links to a pinterest board with our ideas and photos of the wedding dress and groom's suit. They gave us great advice and suggestions. It was bit of gamble not seeing anything before the day of the wedding...but everything was perfect. Abloom interpreted and translated everything into a beautiful and coordinated presentation.

Abloom did an outstanding job providing the flowers for my October 2014 wedding. She provided the bouquets, boutonnieres, center pieces, and other arrangements. I had a rustic wedding in my husband's family's barn and was THRILLED with how the floral arrangements turned out. And I know several guests were too (gay uncles included!) who were raving about the flowers and estimated we paid twice as much as we did! We met to discuss my vision beforehand (looked through magazines clips I brought, pintrest, etc.) and Abloom gave me exactly what I hoped for. While I wasn't happy with all our vendors (I would recommend avoiding Grand Rentals of Frederick), I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Abloom. In fact, my sisters-in-law have already decided to use Abloom for their own weddings, and I certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to other family and friends. Lori was a pleasure to work with. Her shop in Walkersville is simply adorable and so fun to visit. She worked with me on flowers (and an alter!) for my wedding and everything turned out fabulously. Lori was responsive with phone calls and emails, and very understanding about payments and logistics. I found her to be extremely creative and original, coming up with ideas that felt unique and special for my big day. Nothing about my experience with Abloom, Ltd. felt like a cookie cutter. I would use her again in a heartbeat!

I would never have considered any other florist for my wedding. Lori has done incredible work for years for our family and community. For our consultation, I took in a few ideas, like color (purple) and theme (vineyard) and Lori ran with it. She had some centerpieces she had been wanting to use that worked really well. She brought in fresh fruit and unique/beautiful flowers to create a one-of-a-kind wedding and reception. I particularly loved my bouquet! On our wedding day, we had some things that did not go smoothly with other vendors but the flowers went perfectly. I recommend Abloom highly!

Abloom is an amazing flower shop. Mrs. Lori goes above and beyond to make sure not only your flowers for the day are perfect, but to do what she and everyone else can to make your day phenomenal. The flower ideas were so unique and elegant I was just so thrilled with the way they complemented the feel and theme I was going for. During the planning of my wedding I felt that all my ideas were so different. This made planning hard. However, when I went to Lori and the Abloom staff they were on the same page as me. All the flowers at my wedding were exactly what I wanted! They absolutely perfected my rustic theme.

Abloom was great in working with my request that I wanted the flowers to be local and seasonal. The bouquets fit in perfectly with the rustic theme of the wedding and were so beautiful! Everyone commented on how gorgeous they were. The overall cost was a little pricey, but I think that was more of my mom's fault because she handled the ordering for me (I live 3000 miles away) and went a little overboard. Overall, Abloom was really great and I only wish I could have taken the bouquets back with me to California! They were so stunning!

I just wanted to review my daughter's May 2011 wedding florist. I had gotten the name from a good friend who is very familiar with community vendors of all kinds. I went in knowing what colors and ideas we wanted to go with but Lori at ABloom left all of us, wedding party and guests alike just ohhhhhing and ahhhhing throughout the wedding and reception. IT WAS GORGEOUS!!!The flowers were so fresh and perfectly matched our request and the wedding party's flowers were just amazingly beautiful, with special touches added in, to our delight!We were so impressed, that when my husband's mother died suddenly, we called last minute and asked Lori Himes, floral coordinator, if they could take care of the funeral flowers, and again, they went far beyond what we could have expected!THEY ARE THE BEST!!!

Overall I was happy with the flowers on my wedding day. I just thought my bouquet would be a little bigger than what it was for the price I paid and that the centerpieces on the tables would have had more flowers too. Maybe I just don't know the cost of flowers. However, my husband and I visited 2 other shops and they did not have a portfolio of the work they had done and they didn't have the vases available like Abloom did. Abloom staff listened to what we wanted and created it.

Lori Himes of Abloom Ltd in Walkersville, MD did the flowers for our wedding. In some ways I would give a full 5 stars and in other ways, 4 stars. To be fair, I can only conclude that the fault is my own that the bouquets did not quite hit the mark for me. My breath was literally taken away when I saw the beautiful arrangements she made to hang on the doors at our wedding at Ceresville Mansion, the memorial table, the centerpieces for the tables, the aisle arrangements for the ceremony, the arrangements she made for the chuppa, the boutonierres and the corsages. And, oh my gosh, the unbelievable arrangement for the mantle behind the sweetheart table. They were absolutely perfect - exactly as I had imagined. The bouquets, however, disappointed me greatly. I thought they were awful. I have never seen anything like them. The bride's was beautiful, but not what I had thought I requested. The bridesmaids' were not pretty at all. I thought I had sent her in great detail, including drawings and photos, what I wanted but that's not what we got. I will say that I made numerous changes, all by email and tried to keep it not confusing, but I think I must have confused her. If I try to describe the bouquets, I can hear myself saying some of the words I would use to describe them, so I must have totally gotten the wrong point across so I take the blame for that. I think that whoever you choose, you should ask for a final consultation to make sure you are on the same page with your florist before the wedding. Lori's shop is adorable and she does so much work. Like I said the arrangements and all of the other flowers were absolutely astonishing so I think they really do 5 star work. I do highly recommend, but just make sure you have a final consultation.
