About Designs provided florals and décor for our September 2021 wedding at the W Hoboken, and I would definitely recommend the team! After being referred by a mutual friend's wedding in Hoboken/Jersey City, we first contacted Sonya and Eva. After reviewing the designs on their Instagram and website, we knew it was the perfect fit. We were looking for a florist that has both modern and timeless décor and would enhance the beauty of the NYC skyline behind us. The quality and style of their work stood out in a crowd of wedding vendors. Our wedding was initially planned for November 2020, but we postponed it to September 2021 due to the pandemic. Sonya and Eva helped every step of the way and made it easy to postpone. They made the planning process simple and responded to my many wedding questions. They also helped re-design the flowers and color palette when our event changed seasons. The team went above and beyond on the wedding day; they arrived early to drop off the bouquets/boutonnieres and start setting up. The ceremony, cocktail, and reception space were set up beautifully! Thank you so much for the gorgeous designs on the best day of our lives; it was a pleasure to have you and your team as part of it all. We're so pleased with the lasting memories we now have from our videos and photos!

Sonya was wonderful! She knew exactly what I was going for even when I was completely overwhelmed. I had so many ideas and concepts of how I wanted everything to look and she made everything so simple for me. She helped with pinpointing my colors for the bridesmaids since I was going for a unique look with different shades and ensured me that the overall look was going to come together. She carefully picked the specific flowers and colors to go with the theme and mood I wanted to convey and I was able to trust her easily. The day of the wedding was hectic and I missed a couple of details for my flower girls so she quickly put a bouquet together on the spot! I can honestly say she went above and beyond and I am so extremely happy she worked with us!

Sonya and her team were beyond amazing! I loved how About Designs was a small female ran business based in the area where we were getting married. Sonya saw my vision and executed it beyond my imagination. I had the most beautiful simplistic modern florals/decor! The first words I said when I walked down the aisle were "Everything looks so beautiful." I cannot recommend About Designs enough. The professionalism from start to end and the talent was truly appreciated. Thank you Sonya so much for making our dream a reality! Wouldn't of wanted it any other way!

Sonya did a great job with our flowers for our wedding. We booked her only a few months before the wedding and I am so glad we were able to get her because the results were beautiful. She was really helpful in the planning process with giving us real examples of some of the ideas she had to bring my vision to life. The pricing was really reasonable as well and the quality, service, responsiveness and attention to detail was amazing!

Our bouquets, all ceremony florals, and tablescapes were all breathtaking! Sonya was so easy to work with, and had such impeccable detail, an eye for design, and truly helped take our wedding to the next level. The pictures of everything have been absolutely gorgeous, and we loved working with Sonya. Our ceremony half arches, I wish I could have taken them home with me. Such beautiful flowers in lovely white and blush hues truly made our wedding so beautiful!

The bouquets she made were super unique, with a large dahlia being the center focus. They looked so natural yet beautiful! It was exactly what I wanted for my wedding!

Eva and Sonya from About Designs are the absolute best and a pleasure to work with. We were so happy to have them as the florists to both our intimate wedding ceremony in 2020 and our full reception in 2021. They listened to my design ideas and created beautiful centerpieces, bouquets, and our ceremony arch, all within my budget. Additionally, it was especially appreciated that they were so accommodating and flexible in working with us and dealing with our reception date changes due to COVID restrictions. I recently hosted a bridal shower for my sister at the Chart House in Weehawken and was looking for a florist at a location nearby the venue. We were so fortunate and thrilled to work with Sonya and Eva of About Designs for our wedding in early 2021. While we had originally booked them for a large wedding, they were so supportive and accommodating when we had to change plans to a 9-person, at-home event. We sent them photos of the house we'd be celebrating in, and they imagined the most BEAUTIFUL setting that complemented the space while elevating it to fit our occasion. (and make it much more than just an average dinner at home!) And they did not disappoint. When we walked in after our church ceremony, we were blown away by the elegant flowers adorning the tables, stairs, mantles, and stoop. Our personal flowers were an incredible reflection of our requested vision too, striking a balance between organic and traditional. Sonya and Eva were a great team to work with, understanding our vision but also offering their expert opinions with suggestions as to how we could best execute our ideas. And when we had a last minute additional request, they jumped in without a problem! Sonya and Eva were great to work with! They are available whenever you need to discuss and were so flexible with our needs of having to reschedule due to COVID! The chuppah came out absolutely incredible! They truly took the ideas we had and brought them to life. Even though we were not exactly certain at every moment what we wanted, they helped to really define our vision. They are extremely helpful and answer every question. Working with them was a delight and we are excited to use them again for the second part of our wedding next year.

I can't say enough about Sonya and her team from About Designs. We needed a beautiful bridal bouquet for my dear friend's wedding and she really came through. After talking to her about the vision, she really nailed it! The bouquet was absolutely stunning and even more beautiful than I had imagined! She even created a boutonniere for the groom as a lovely plus! Everyone was truly impressed with her creation and I look forward to working with her again. Thanks Sonya!

They put their heart and sole into their designs. They listen to their clients, paint the landscape of what will make the special event spectacular! We hosted a florals and wreath-making class with About Designs for our company holiday party, and it was amazing. They brought everything needed, set up, cleaned up, and we ended with an amazing "gift" to take home at the holidays. Would highly recommend - this incredible sister team is so easy to work with.

About-Designs are AMAZING! My wedding decor came out even better than my vision :) I planned my wedding table decor and cake decor all through email (From Miami to NYC- Dinner Cruise) with these professionals. They were so responsive, so helpful, and so flexible. They were all about making their client feel comfortable throughout the process. When I arrived to the Dinner Cruise early, they were putting their finishing touches and were so focused on making everything look perfect!

I must have emailed / called About Design once a week for a year changing my ideas or my style of flowers . They were so understanding and helpful . They knew exactly what I wanted even when I didn’t . My flowers came out amazing & I could not have been happier with everything , it all turned out amazing ! I couldn’t recommend them enough !

Sonya and Eva are aahhhhh-mazing! From start to finish, we absolutely loved working with them to bring our vision to life - they were so honest and transparent through the process. They worked within our budget and helped us save where we could. On top of that, our in-person meeting to view trial florals felt like going to a friend’s house to hang out. Eva and Sonya are wonderful to work with! A mutual friend recommended them and I looked no where else! They are very easy to get along with. I told them what my budget was and showed them a bunch of different pictures of arrangements that I liked. They came in under budget and their creations were beautiful and exactly what my non-floral eye envisioned! I still get mad at myself for not having my bouquet preserved because I love it that much. It sits dried in a vase on my bookshelf. You cannot go wrong in choosing to work with these sisters! Their work is amazing!

Sonja & Eva were amazing to work with. They were able to capture the idea we had for our wedding and they were able to show us a preview. They were very easy to work with, also were conscious about helping us meet our wishes with the budget we had. Overall a fantastic experience and would highly recommend them for any event!

About Designs is not only a creative floral powerhouse but they listen to what the client wants, which is so important! I have used them for my own bridal shower, sister’s bridal shower and most recently my daughter’s baptism. On each occasion they provided me with different options for what my vision was, and worked with my budget. Their service is friendly, creative and fresh and if I could I’d have them deck out my house in florals weekly! Highly recommended!

They perfectly understood my "secret garden" inspiration, were so easy to work with, and delivered arrangements more beautiful than I thought possible. From really, truly listening to my requests at the consultation to the very end when the pieces were delivered and completely elevated our venue, I could not ask for more from a florist. What really separates them from other florists is the attention to detail; I was really heard when I saw the proposals and the final product. Everything I requested was there in a timely manner and absolutely stunning, no matter the weather or the circumstance (we had rocky water on our yacht venue on a very windy day). They are the absolute professionals and know how to take your vision and make it more than you ever expected. They even suggested to add pieces to the cake, something I am so glad they did because it was exactly what I wanted and I didn't even know it. Working with About Designs was such a fun experience! Both Sonya and Eva were very attentive and thorough with helping me achieve the look I wanted for all my flower arrangements. I loved that I could see a mock-up of my bouquet. They were also very knowledgeable as to what flowers were in season based on the location of my wedding which helped me work within my budget. My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous, exactly what I wanted. These two ladies are very talented!!

It was my pleasure ordering flowers from Sonya and Eva for a very close friend of mine. The bride and groom were so happy with their flowers. A week and a half after their wedding, the flowers were still fresh and in bloom on their dining room table. The flowers made the day such a success and made the wedding photos pop!

About Designs provided flowers for a bridal shower where I was part of the bridal party. The flowers were BEAUTIFUL and all the guests kept commenting about how gorgeous the centerpieces were! They were great at assisting when indecisive about the arrangements along with tying the centerpieces back to the theme of the shower. Highly recommend the sister duo for any event!

Sonya and Eva did an excellent job on my wedding this past June. Working with them was great, they were very attentive and helpful throughout the planning process which necessitated many email exchanges. Going with a smaller, family-run shop instead of a large, commercial florist/wholesaler where I was just another name and number was absolutely the right decision. From a design perspective, they really nailed my aesthetic and brought to life (and I am very picky!). Great value for the investment, would absolutely hire them again.

Sonya and Eva were so easy to work with and really helped bring my vision to life! I barely knew anything about flowers before hiring them for my wedding so I really appreciated all of their help in picking flowers in the colors and price points I was looking for. We had a meeting a few weeks before the wedding to finalize centerpieces and I was able to bring home a mock bridal bouquet which was a nice touch and got me even more excited for the big day. On the day of the wedding, Sonya & Eva arrived right on time and everything was set up with plenty of time to spare. One of the most unique things they offered were small succulents in silver buckets, which we used as our placecards and favors. Our guests absolutely loved this little touch and it was so nice to be able to trust Sonya & Eva to transport them and then set everything up at the venue. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a duo who is easy to work with, extremely responsive & willing to work with your budget. About Designs went above and beyond for us on our wedding day and the months leading up to it. We trusted them 100% to come through for us on our big day. We even asked them to be in charge of some last minute design decisions (lighting, arranging luminaries, coordinating with other vendors, etc) and they did an excellent job. We would definitely want to work with Sonya and Eva again on future projects if needed. Thanks again so much!!

About-Designs was fantastic! They were recommended to us for my sisters bridal shower and we were so glad we used them. They made beautiful bud vase table arrangements that everyone loved (and got to take home!) The highlight of the shower was Sonya and Eva helping us put together a flower arranging class. We did this in place of opening up gifts and it was a big hit. Our guests got to take them home as favors. Sonya and Eva set up a beautiful "flower bar" with all sorts of different flowers that were on display all afternoon. When it came time to arrange, they gave a great demonstration and helped everyone with their arrangements. They all looked so beautiful in the mason jars they provided and my arrangement lasted a week! Would highly recommend About-Designs and Sonya and Eva! Thanks so much again!
