AFDT was amazing to work with! From the start, Nina was very easy to communicate and work with! She understood our needs and helped make everything happen. The day of the wedding everything went so smooth, we were even a head of schedule and not rushed! Everyone's makeup and hair turned out amazing and the girls were absolutely amazing to work with! Chelsey was my hair and makeup artist and she did a great job on my wedding day. I had a trial with her about a month before my wedding and we made some tweaks on the big day and everything held up…even in 87 degrees in an outdoor ceremony! :) Nina was also great to work with, she did all of the scheduling and responds promptly. I definitely recommend AFDT!

We had such a wonderful experience with Haley, Rachel, and Brittany, our hair and make-up team for the big day! They arrived right on time and ended ahead of schedule. They had their hands full with 6 bridesmaids, 2 junior bridesmaids, moms, and me. They did not disappoint. Our looks were beautiful. And they were so friendly through it all. Our team was Rachel, Karen, and Gina. They were all incredible. I had my trial on the day before our wedding so we could work out any kinks for the next day. Karen was so sweet and brought a tool from her personal collection to give me the mermaid waves of my dream. Rachel was so accommodating and changed my makeup from the day before because I was super indecisive. Her adjustments made me feel like the little rockstar I wanted to be on my wedding day. Gina nailed all of my bridesmaids looks and everyone loved working with her!! Don’t get me started on Nina, what a gal! She is so responsive and easy to work with! I don’t even know where to begin. Nina was absolutely kind, understanding and beyond helpful during the whole process. She made me feel important and really made me feel like I was special. All 3 women, Gina, Terri and Chelsea showed up early and were such great company to be around, especially on my wedding day. They were calm, confident and extremely patient. They care just as much as you do and it felt like, for a moment that I could breathe and just enjoy the girls. I highly recommend About Face!!!

Rachel and Brittany did such an amazing job with my hair and makeup! I am a no makeup, hair in a bun, minimalist type of person but wanted to have some makeup and nice hair for my wedding and let me tell you. They killed it! They listened to all of likes and dislikes and made me feel like a beautiful bride!! Nina was also so amazing with getting in touch and answering any questions I had! Couldn’t recommend them enough!💕

Nina coordinated everything for the event and was always available to answer any questions and super sweet on the phone.. The hair and make up team did an amazing job, and I didn’t even do a wedding trial. I can honestly say I’ve never felt so beautiful and I usually never like getting my hair and make up done, the team killed it. I can't say enough good things about the About Face Design Team. I scheduled them on my wedding day in Sept 2022 for Bride, Mother of the Bride, 3 Bridesmaids, 1 Jr. Bridesmaid, and Groom's hair. I also scheduled a Hair & Makeup Bridal Trial as well as scheduled them again for my portrait session at Magic Kingdom for my husband and I in Nov 2022. From getting the quote to the big day, working with this team was a dream for a stressful bride. Nina was very, very responsive answering all my questions. I would typically get a reply by the end of day, if not within an hour or two. Nina was great to work with while trying to schedule what was going to meet my bridal parties needs and very communicative up until the big day. Day of the wedding, the three artists, Haley, Brittany, and Rachel I., all arrived early and excited to glam up the party! They got all my party done within the scheduled time and were very accommodating to the wedding day curve balls. Haley did the hair and makeup for me (the bride) and my mom. While Rachel did my bridesmaids makeup and Brittany did the hair. The whole team was great and my whole party looked beautiful! I personally had the most interaction with Haley as she did my hair and makeup for my trial, the big day, and the portrait session. She did an AMAZING job executing my hair vision and worked with me to build from my inspo photos for what will work best for my needs. When I was at a lost for what to do with my makeup, we had a good discussion of what I was comfortable with and how to stay true to who I was, while still getting the bridal glam. In addition to all the already good things listed, everyone's looks held up throughout the night! I was still getting compliments on my hair and makeup when arriving to my hotel AT MIDNIGHT (!!!) after a long of wedding festivities. Which hair and makeup company to choose, was easily one of the most stressful decisions I had when planning my wedding. I am so happy I elected to go with About Face Design Team.

We loved working with About Face Design Team! I absolutely loved my hair and makeup. It was exactly what I wanted and stayed looking perfect literally all day. I've had some hit or miss experiences with hair and make up in the past so I was a little nervous when choosing the right team for the big day but choosing AFDT was the best decision. Nina was extremely helpful, understanding and easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. She checked in periodically and made sure we were on the same page at all times and made sure I was happy with everything. Haley did my hair and makeup as well as my mom's make up on my wedding day a couple of weeks ago and she was AMAZING. Everything turned out better than I expected and Haley is also just a fun person to chat with while you are in her chair. I got so many compliments on my look that night and will be telling everyone about AFDT! I will definitely be calling them again for any future hair and make up needs.

I highly recommended About Face! Their scheduling, communication, punctuality, makeup, and hair was absolutely perfect for my wedding day and my engagement photoshoot. Myself and my bridesmaids had such a great time getting out hair and makeup done by their team and Nina was quick to communicate when any updates were needed. Their contracts are clear and offer clear expectations and helpful tips on the wedding day which was appreciated. I think it would be beneficial if the bride went second to last on the wedding day to allow some breathing room to prepare for photography. Haley (hair) and Rachel (makeup) were amazing!! They were both right on time, and took time to make sure our final looks were exactly what we wanted. They did the bride, maid of honor, mother of the bride and mother of the groom’s makeup and hair, and we were all SO pleased with the final look! Nina, their coordinator, was also so easy to work with and set up my trial run, as well as making sure everything went well with the trial and final wedding day! I would 100% recommend About Face for your wedding day needs!

Nina at About Face was so lovely. She was so helpful and organized. Rachel and Haley did our makeup and hair for our wedding at Disney. They were so professional, kind and passionate about what they do. They made waking up at 3:00am so fun. My sister, mom and I LOVED our makeup and hair so much! We were so impressed. The best getting ready team ever! I will start with Nina who made the entire planning process easy. Nina is so responsive to email and does not hesitate to pick up the phone to answer all those unforeseen questions that us brides have. Nina takes care of helping you through the logistics, scheduling, and gives you upfront rates. Nina will even help with transparency and gives you a day of schedule timeline for the entire bridal party per make up person, making things crystal clear for everyone. Next, the ABDT artist are not only skilled in their trade but are legit therapist, I was so nervous on how things would go specially with so much female energy on the day of. Going into the make-up trial I was treated like royalty, Rachel and Brittney assessed my needs, looked at my picture inspo, gave me recommendations for my hair and the hair style I was going for and tested a few lip colors until we came up with the final look. I think their talent is evident in all their pictures, what stood out to me is how the ABDT team made me feel. The artists gave me this warm feeling of comfort, they have a way of easing out nerves, anxiety and worries of wedding planning. I knew after the trial that the team was going to be perfect for my bridal party and my mom and MIL. On the day of, everyone felt pampered and taken care of and all my ladies looked flawless. I am forever grateful for the AFDT (Rachel, Gina, & Brittany) for helping me calm down and look my best on my special day. 10000% Recommend!

From beginning to end... absolute perfection! Nina and Haley at About Face are amazing! I hired AFDT in December 2020 for my engagement photo hair and makeup which came out exactly how I pictured! It lasted all night and the photos were amazing! Fast forward to March 2022 for my wedding. The customer service, care and dedication to making their clients happy is astounding. Nina and Haley went above and beyond to ensure that we were all happy and comfortable will our hair and makeup for wedding day. Everyone was constantly complimenting us on how great we looked and my updo lasted through wind and dancing all night. We were really up in the air with what we wanted and after 2 trials and Haley being very patient , we arrived at the day of look. The other 2 artists we had on the day of for the girls and MOG were equally talented and caring and patient. (Natasha and Rachel) We really did our research before going with AFDT. "There is so much that goes into a wedding with lots and lots of vendors that need to be selected. A Hindu-American wedding is a HUGE production, with multiple outfit and look changes usually over a couple of days. Not being a huge fan of makeup, I was a little worried about finding a team that would be able to help me with such a massive part of our wedding. I started following About Face Design Team on social media and knew they were the ones for me! AFDT put all my worries to rest and did an unbelievable job on the hair and makeup for me, my bridesmaids and my family the day of our wedding. Let me start by saying Hindu weddings usually start in the morning and end at night. That meant that ten women were getting ready for a wedding that started at 11:00 am and ended at 11:00 pm. The hair and makeup needed to stand up to a marathon of a day. The team of four showed up at 5:00 am (wide awake, no less!) and got to work. Haley worked with me, completing a daytime look and hair style that worked great with the Indian wedding lehenga (skirt and blouse) and dupatta (veil) that I wore for my wedding ceremony. She was able to create this even despite my stumbling and mumbling description of what I wanted. She then came back in the afternoon and helped me change looks, with both a different makeup palette and hairstyle to match my wedding gown for the reception. Both looks actually took my now-husband’s breath away. All of the pictures so far show a flawless look that is dramatic without looking surreal. All of my bridesmaids (with all different hair and skin) looked beautiful, getting the styles that they wanted as well. Everything lasted until the end of the reception and then some! We actually continued the party until 1:00 am, and my pictures from the end of the night look almost as good as from the start of the day. I cannot recommend AFDT enough to anyone wanting hair or makeup services for any event!"

AFDT we’re absolutely amazing! All of the makeup and hair artists did such an amazing job and they were all so friendly and hype. Definitely needed that positive energy as the nervous bride! I would 100000% recommend them!!!

Starting from when I decided to use them all the way until the day of my wedding I was very pleased with their services. I was very impressed with how easy they were to get ahold of and how quickly they responded when emailing them. There was several times I called Nina and she answered or would call within an hour or so which was super awesome because there’s a 4 hour time difference between where I live and Florida. The ladies that did our hair and makeup were very punctual and friendly as well as professional. If you’re struggling to decide which glam team to use for your special don’t hesitate! They are fairly priced, friendly and all around an awesome experience!

I cannot recommend AFDT enough. Casey did my hair and makeup and not only did she do an incredible job, she was calming and professional. During my trial run my skin reacted to a product she used and she calmly asked how I was because she noticed immediately. I said I was okay and she let me know my skin was turning red in a very relaxed way which helped me not worry. It immediately went away and she made a note that the product caused a reaction and informed Nina, who manages the stylists. The day of my wedding Casey let me know she stopped using that product and I had no problems. I had so many compliments on my eye make up and hair. All of my 9 bridesmaids looked incredible with mismatched hair styles and my mother and mother-in-law were very happy with their hair and make up. Nina was also extremely professional and quick to respond. She scheduled a time block for each service which kept things running smoothly. Without a doubt you should book with AFDT!
