The staff at About Face Mandeville showed nothing but professionalism from the moment I reached out to them for my wedding. I attended a trial run at their site, where Kasey took her time, asked my input, and made sure I was comfortable with every step. On the day of my wedding, she knocked it out of the park! I've been in many weddings, and I've never seen all of the bridesmaids and the bride be completely satisfied with their makeup. I can happily say that was the case for myself and my bridal party. I cannot recommend Kasey enough!

Lauren Michelet did a beautiful and the most perfect job with my bridal makeup! As someone who does not wear much or know much about makeup, she’s laid-back, approachable, and does not make you feel silly for asking questions. She was communicative and so easy to work with. I was worried about looking too tan/orange with a fake tan + makeup, but she absolutely nailed a natural look. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her services next time I need professional makeup!

Lauren did the makeup for my wedding day and she is the BEST! Leading up to the wedding she was very easy to communicate with and always so professional and sweet. By the end of the day on my wedding we all felt like she was one of our friends! She was such a fun addition to have in the bridal suite all day! Every single one of my bridesmaids asked me for Lauren's instagram information after we got ready because they were stunned with how beautiful they felt! Lauren was an absolute PRO and totally fun to work with. She was happy to make any adjustments we wanted (none were necessary - seriously, the makeup was flawless), had us ready perfectly on time, and once the makeup was on it didn't budge! I really hope to get to work with Lauren again in the future, she really made me feel like a stunning bride on my wedding day and made all of my bridesmaids feel gorgeous, too.

About Face was just great! I used Lauren as my makeup artist and Jessie for our hair. They have the most reasonable prices in the area and do a wonderful job! They make your wedding day stress free and can work with any space you give them. They offer hair and makeup trials and they even accept venmo from bridesmaids (which made things super easy). Everyone was happy, and there were no tears on the wedding day! <3

These ladies are amazing!! I had such a wonderful experience as a bridesmaid, that I knew I had to have them for my wedding day. Lauren and Jessie did a fabulous job making my entire bridal party look and feel fabulous. They brought anything and everything they would need to our hotel room, but didn’t take up a lot of space. They listened to each bridesmaid, and the mamas, making sure they liked the way they looked before the got out of the chair. Because we had so many, they got there 11 hours before the wedding started. I was concerned that the girls who went first would have faded makeup or their hair would fall down, but they touched it up before they left, and it stayed all night long! Even before the wedding, I had a wonderful experience getting my trial done in the store. And when Jessie got sick, they still had me come in and do my trial, but also had me come back in when she was feeling better, at no charge, to make sure Jessie knew exactly how I liked it. They are so much fun and I loved having them as a big part of my wedding day.

I am thrilled with my decision to book About Face of Mandeville for my January 11 wedding. I had a destination wedding, so I was unable to see the salon or speak to anyone in person, but from the reviews and reasonable prices I felt comfortable with my choice. I scheduled hair and makeup for my two bridesmaids, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, my grandmother, and myself. We spent all morning/early afternoon in the salon and were given a table and comfy chairs to rest in. The salon allowed us to bring in food and beverages so we were able to relax before the wedding. It was such a wonderful prelude to the wedding, and I am so happy to have those memories with my wedding party ladies! I would highly recommend their services to any future bride!

Lindsey did my makeup for my small wedding back in March. These girls are excellent at what they do! Very sweet ladies too! Since I did not have bridesmaids, I had 3 little flower girls get their makeup done along with both mothers and my sisters. My daughters looked absolutely beautiful without being over done with too much makeup! My sisters, my mother, and mother-in-law looked gorgeous and were all so happy with their makeup! I couldn't have been happier with the look they gave me for my special day! Would highly recommend.

The team at About Face of Mandeville is amazing! I used them for my engagement photos, my bridals, engagement dinner and the wedding. We were able to use the photos from the Bridals to change any little bit we wanted for the wedding and Lauren took a lot of time with me making sure I loved it! Lauren and Natalie are the absolute best!!! Their makeup mad everyone in my wedding look stunning and they still looked like themselves. It was so natural and beautiful. Natalie and Courtney did an incredible job, I still get compliments about how gorgeous we all looked thanks to them! Natalie and Lauren did the makeup for almost all of my bridesmaids on their wedding days, so they know us well and it’s always a great time! I used my test trial the day of my bridal shower and had Natalie do my makeup for the rehearsal dinner and would definitely recommend doing the same!!

Before choosing About Face, I had multiple trials with other makeup artists but felt like they weren't listening to what I wanted. However, when I met Lauren, I knew I had found the perfect fit. She did my makeup for all my wedding events-the showers, engagement party, rehearsal dinner, and wedding day. I used About Face Mandeville for my New Orleans wedding and they couldn’t have been more perfect! Lauren and Paula were fabulous. They traveled to us, did makeup for 12 people, and made absolutely everyone look like the best versions of themselves (from a 18 year old to my 88 year old Mawmaw)! I loved having them be a fun and easy part of my day so you should all do yourselves a favor and book them for your big day too!

I was very pleased with my experience with the About Face Cosmetics team. I recently got married back in early January of this year, I had a pretty demanding group of bridesmaids and Lauren and Abby fulfilled every request without question. Lauren and Abby worked together to give me the hair and make up I had been dreaming of since I was a young girl. Lauren even stood on guard for the tears that came after the first look! I cannot say enough great things about About Face. All of the ladies here are absolutely amazing and so personable. We all got our makeup done here for my best friend's wedding and it looked phenomenal. When I was planning my wedding there was no doubt that I, along with my bridesmaids, was going to get my makeup done here as well. I had planned on getting my hair done at a different place. For my bridals my hair (from another place) turned out horrible. I was almost in tears on my way to my apt with Lauren to get my makeup done and then head to my venue to take pics. Not only did the ladies make my makeup beautiful but they were able to fix my hair and make it look perfect just in time for my bridals to be taken. Needless to say we all got our hair and makeup done at About Face for the wedding and looked amazing. We were all so pleased with how it turned out and we had so much fun getting ready there. It was so nice to relax and enjoy getting ready knowing that I was in great hands and that everything would look amazing.

I had About Face do my hair and make up for my wedding plus my 10 bridesmaids. Every single person was very professional and understanding of everyone's specific wants and details. I would and have recommended them to every bride to be I know. Lauren and Lorena are both amazing! Lauren did my bridal make up and Lorena did my wedding low bun updo. Both of them are so sweet and make you feel very comfortable and beautiful! They listen to any concerns you have about getting your hair and make up done, which is important to me since I'm more of a mineral powder and just mascara each day type of girl. They did an amazing job with my bridal party, mother, and mother in law's hair and make up as well and were just a joy and so easy to work with. I'd highly recommend both of them and will probably use them for other big events in the future! :)

I highly recommend About Face of Mandeville! I did the 8 week facial series before my wedding in May. My skin hasn't looked this good in years! My dermatologist even told me, twice, that my skin looked amazing! :) I looked forward to seeing Meghan every week....she was such a sweetheart! I also got to know Lauren and Natalie along the way and they are wonderful! The products they use are top notch and my skin responded beautifully...I am still using them because I liked them so much. I highly recommend them for any of your skin care needs!

I cannot say enough great things about Lauren (makeup) and Lorena(hair)! Lauren did an amazing job with my wedding day makeup! She was so sweet and supportive with helping me decide a look to go for. I was set on wearing a hot pink lip and she found the perfect one! From the makeup trial to stopping in to find the perfect gold eyeshadow, Lauren was always available to help with a smile on her face. Everyone looked absolutely stunning! Lorena outdid herself when it came to making everyone's hair look amazing for my wedding. Each bridesmaid had a vision and she was able to execute it while still keeping with the girls personality and hair type. She made sure my mom knew how to remove my veil too which was a huge plus in keeping everything intact and looking beautiful throughout the reception.

About Face Mandeville was an awesome wedding vendor! We used them for bride makeup and bridesmaid hair. I worked with Ming on my makeup and she did a great job! She did my trial two months ahead of time because it was the only time before the wedding I'd be back in town. And she and Stacy (hair) travelled to the French Quarter to do everything on-site. Lauren was awesome with planning all the details and was super flexible as our itinerary slightly changed. Working with About Face was a great experience. Definitely trust them with your day-of beauty!
