I went for a trial appointment the week before my wedding, and loved the way my hair was done. When I returned on the day of my wedding, the stylist did it differently and I really wasn’t happy. She wasn’t very personable and seemed to be in a hurry. My make up was a disaster. While the woman doing my makeup was nice, she did NOT listen to what I asked her to do and did everything according to what she thought looked best, not what I requested. My maid of honor was with me, and she did the same thing to her. I would not recommend this salon. The staff at the front desk was also not very friendly. I’m sure other people have good experiences at this salon, but I did not. If I could go back, I would have gone somewhere else.

I recently served as a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding and our entire bridal party got our hair and make-up done at Above All. Hair was a great experience, Make-up, not so much. Hair: 4/5 Measha did my hair and I can't say enough good things! I told her I wanted a low, loose/soft curled updo and she gave me the most beautiful hairstyle. I got so many compliments! The other bridesmaids also got low updos from various stylists, and overall almost everyone was happy with their looks. I would reccomend bringing pictures of what you want, just to be safe. Or just request Measha, and your look will be perfect. Make-Up: 1/5 I'm giving this a 1 instead of a zero because thankfully, the bride was happy with her own make-up. Between the 6 of us bridesmaids who got make-up done, almost every single one of us had to fix/re-do our make-up once we got home. Being that we were getting make-up done at a hair salon, I wasn't expecting MAC quality by any means, but when you pay $60/person, you atleast want your eyeliner to be applied in a straight line! I had to re-apply/re-glue people's false lashes, re-apply people's eyeliner, add blush and bronzer....it was a bad situation all around. Plus the make-up that they use (I can't remember the brand name) is not good quality in my opinion. SO - I would 100% reccomend the salon for bridal party hair. The stylists are talented and the salon itself is big and beautiful. But as far as make-up goes, STAY AWAY!!
