Above and Beyond Catering

Above and Beyond Catering was a great company to work with! We had the pleasure of working most closely with Mark (the owner) and Jenn. We had looked at two other companies, and found the whole "tasting" process to be super awkward ~ making small talk with strangers while trying to eat and enjoy the food and service they are trying to sell you. Though we did enjoy the food at Above and Beyond more than the other companies, the real reason we chose them was because Mark and Jenn were normal people and they made our tasting at Above and Beyond the least awkward by far! They were both true professionals, and we loved that they sent some leftovers home with us so that we could really enjoy the food in a more relaxed environment and take our time in making our decision. The professionalism we saw in the initial meeting carried through in every interaction and we felt very confident that our wedding was in good hands. Jenn was incredibly helpful and easy to work with during the planning process. Though i made some unusual choices around linens she went along with everything I asked for and carried out my vision perfectly. Between her and Mark, I felt that every little detail had been thought of and attended to. The day of the event the food was just as delicious as we remembered. The guests raved about the hors d'oeuvres served during cocktail hour and we got lots of compliments on dinner as well. Everything ran so smoothly, the entire staff was so friendly and ensured our guests were well taken care of. We could not have asked for anything more. I would absolutely recommend Above and Beyond to any bride and groom! (PS - I wasn't sure how to calculate the cost per head, the $100+ accounts for everything - food, service, all our rentals etc. for comparison, Above and Beyond was not the most or least expensive of the companies we worked with. They were conscious of our budget and Jenn made a few good suggestions about how to reduce costs.)
