I can not say enough about working with Gina for our July wedding. We live in Boston so many of our meetings were on the phone but I never worried. She was so responsive and on top of things. When the day finally came I was able to completely let go and be in the moment because we trusted her and loved her and her team. We did a buffet which they executed seamlessly. Gina and her team are efficient and detail oriented with also being loving and supportive. She was a large part of what made our day perfect and we could not thank her enough.

Gina and her team at Above & Beyond catered our October 2023 wedding, and we could not have been more impressed. The company name is 100% spot on! (note: the following review may exhaust the supply of positive adjectives out there in the English language, so please bear with us). We did catering as well as bar service with A&B, and both food & drink were outstanding across the board. Most importantly, our family & friends all seemed to really enjoy everything too. And Gina even surprised us with a harder-to-find wine option that we initially thought wasn’t going to be possible - but nevertheless she made it happen. Their level of service and quality was evident in much more than just the food. It felt like every little detail was expertly handled, and her team’s experience and level of care really shone through at every step. They even did some necessary things intuitively, which we hadn’t discussed ahead of time with Gina, simply because they knew precisely what needed to happen (whereas we have had zero experience running a wedding before!). From setup to ‘tear down’ they absolutely nailed it. Also, Gina is such a pleasure to coordinate with, and will help tailor all the multitude of options exactly to your needs, budget, etc. On top of that, she’s just a genuinely lovely person! We’re so glad to know that there are business owners like her out there, running exemplary outfits like Above & Beyond. In the end, they really did achieve exactly what we were hoping for, and we’re so glad we had them at our wedding. If Gina and her rockstar team have availability for your date, just stop looking elsewhere and book with them while you can!

BEYOND thankful for Above & Beyond Catering and Gina Sawtelle. We originally hired them in 2020 when COVID was raging and we weren't able to do tastings. We also were planning a cross country wedding so we weren't able to travel for tastings or meetings as our wedding got closer. Gina worked with us every step of the way and was so organized and communicative. Countless phone calls, zoom meetings and emails over the past 2 years ended up with a fantastic event. She helped us plan our menu, logistics and timing of meals during the cocktail hour and dinner. She also handled the bar as a part of our catering package. She was so flexible with dietary accommodations for allergies and vegans/vegetarians. Her staff was so friendly and professional and made sure we were always fed and had a drink throughout the night.
