Jack was a great DJ. He was a true professional, great mc and was very attentive to us and our audience. He did not miss a beat. Played our all songs. He had the dance floored packed all night long. Bonus is he takes photos and captured our ending song with our entire family when the photographer had already left.

Jack is the best. He was flexible with us as we worked to reschedule our wedding multiple times due to COVID. He was also able to adapt to some last minute changes the day of. Jack is a fun, great DJ, that I highly recommend!

Jack did an excellent job going truly above and beyond at our wedding! Jack played great music, all of the songs that we requested, and did an excellent job of getting and keeping our guests engaged, having fun, and dancing! In addition to his DJ services, Jack took, developed, and sent us about 100 photos from our wedding and the photos were awesome, capturing all of the highlights and important moments from our special day! Jack was absolutely perfect for my wedding. Not only is he an amazing experienced DJ but extremely kind and professional. I was worried about the dance floor at my wedding because it was a small guest list. Jack listened to all of my concerns. He was always easily available with great communication. Needless to say he had all of my guests up dancing the entire night. My guests had nothing but praise for Jack. He also provided us with incredible professional level candid pictures from that night. The booking process, updates, emails and communication was all seamless and put me at ease while planning my wedding. I’m blown away with the services and cannot recommend Jack enough.

My husband and I are high school sweethearts and couldn’t wait to get married. Our wedding was unfortunately changed 4 different times Bc of Covid. I am happy to say it finally happened this past Oct 3rd. Jack was our DJ and he was outstanding! He listened to all our suggestions and put his own flare to it as well. He went over the entire wedding schedule days before the wedding to make sure to 100% meet our needs and expectations. Jack Fahey of Above & Beyond Disc Jockey Entertainment is FANTASTIC! Not only does Jack spin an array of music from all eras and across all genres, he voluntarily takes photos of the event and willingly shares them with his client and their guests. I have used Jack on multiple occasions (i.e., wedding, 50th Birthday, Class Reunion, etc.) and he always manages to get the crowd up dancing and never disappoints. Not only is Jack a great DJ, but he is a pleasure to do business with, as he is prompt to reply with any questions and welcomes any suggestions or comments that you may have. If I could give zero stars I would. He messed up the bride song for walking down the aisle, messed up most of the wedding party intros and started the father daughter dance without us on the dance floor. He was asked to leave the venue and was replaced by a guest that happened to be a dj. He was nice and left his equipment for the replacement dj.

DJ Jack Fahey was great! He did a great job with our ceremony music and when it came to the reception part He got everyone up on the dance floor with all the music choices he had! He was a blast! On top of that he took SOOO many pictures! It was such an added bonus! I was so happy to receive them all! Such a great man! Highly Recommend him!

Booked Jack after he was the DJ at another wedding I was at and he was absolutely amazing. He was professional, but fun and did such an incredible job. I gave him song suggestions on what to play and not to play and he followed them perfectly. We received many compliments from our guests on the music. He also took many candid photos on the dance floor which turned out great and have been so much fun to look at. We also booked the photo booth as part of our package which everyone loved. Would 100% recommend to others.

Don’t do it! Just got married and he messed up so much. He screeched out everyone during cocktail hour. Then he got our introduction song wrong and said our last name wrong. Our last name is like saying Miller. He got my father daughter song wrong, Jack hitted on my friends and photographer. He also repeated three songs in a row. Like back to back not even spaced out. It was awful. We had a good time still because we got married but Jack was a headache. Nice guy but a headache

We hired Jack for our reception this past weekend at South Wall Banquet Hall. He was an absolute pleasure to work with! He played fantastic music through out cocktail hour and full reception. All of our guests had a blast and stayed on the dance floor all night. Also, the next day he sent us over 100 photos that he took himself from the DJ booth. Could not be more happy with Jack! The photo booth company that we used through Jack was also fantastic, great props!

Our wedding was on Friday, 9/7. It was absolutely perfect! Jack did a wonderful job with our ceremony. Our reception got off to a rougher start (he mixed up the order of 1 of the entrance songs and forgot my dance with my stepdad). The first mix up was no big deal. The 2nd one however could have been and I am glad he took the time to correct it. The rest of the night went very smoothly and all of our guests really enjoyed themselves, as did we! He played a few songs that were on my Do Not Play list but also played all but 1 of our requested songs. My only regret is that we did not start going over things until the week of. I wish we went over playlists and everything sooner to make sure everything was correct. Other than that, Jack was wonderful, professional, and his pictures have been a great way to look back and remember things before our real photos come back.

Jack Fahey was the DJ at my daughter's wedding and he was awesome. He kept the dance floor filled the entire night, and everyone had a great time (just as he did for my other daughter's wedding). He's not a lot of chatter and he plays lots of great music. Jack also takes great photos and it's so nice to get a preview when he posts them the very next day. Thank you, Jack!

DJ Jack Fahey did a great job getting all of our guests out on the dance floor, regardless of age! He played music that reached every generation and his music transitioned well throughout the night. We met with Jack a few weeks before the wedding to go over the day-of details and we were pleased with how accurately he followed the timeline. My husband and I loved his music choice so much that we barely left the dance floor the rest of the night! We would highly recommend his services to anyone looking to have a fun-filled wedding reception!

Jack was very communicative and made the process so smooth! He usually responded back to my emails in minutes and called me about a week before the wedding to go over the whole day. The order of the reception - from the speeches, dances, blessings, and cake cutting - were exactly what we wanted and the night never felt rushed but kept moving. He also sent us awesome pictures that he had taken the morning after the wedding - our family all loved them and it was nice to have pictures so soon while we wait for our wedding pictures! Thanks Jack!

We had several problems with our DJ on the wedding day: 1. He did not start the ceremony on time and he also wasn't fading in/out the bridal party songs as planned. It seemed he was too busy taking pictures (we had a photographer!) before & during the ceremony. It was a waste of the time my husband and I spent carefully selecting which songs we wanted to play (and how we wanted them played) during the ceremony and a number of songs weren't played at all. We went over the timeline in great detail a couple days before the wedding. This was beyond frustrating and not a great way to start our ceremony. 2. He played the WRONG SONG for our first dance (how does someone call themselves a professional and not confirm you have the right song?!) and when my husband went up to tell him he played the wrong song he ARGUED with him saying that WE WERE WRONG (as if we didn't know what song we selected - Thank You Very Much). That his response was that we didn't know our own first dance song was beyond insulting. So, we never got our "first dance moment". It really sucked. 3. He tried to end the reception ONE HOUR EARLY! Despite going over the timeline in detail a few days before, he played our final song at 9pm, again, taking away from my enjoyment of the evening by having to police his timeline. Yet again, another moment we didn't get to enjoy. And yet again, he was a little argumentative with me as if I didn't know what I paid for! 4. Our wedding was Mother's Day weekend and we asked for a particular song to be played which wasn't. He played good music and definitely had people dancing but the things he missed and his attitude totally took away from the day and are things I am going to be sad about when I think about our day. Hopefully crappy vendors are like rain on your wedding day - supposedly good luck for the marriage (although, I know I picked the right guy, even if I picked the wrong vendors! LOL)

Looking at other reviews, it appears DJ Jack is hit or miss. Our experience was pretty similar to other 1-star reviews, except we had a couple last-minute changes to the plan (due to rain), so we were grateful for his flexibility. The main takeaway: DJ Jack is good if you are looking for a good playlist, not if you have some specific ideas in mind for the music at your wedding. The good: -The music he picked got people dancing, which was the main thing we wanted. -The pictures he took were good, and it was nice to have good pictures so soon after the wedding. The bad: -He screwed up our names. Our last names aren't the easiest to pronounce, but even after talking through them a few times, he still butchered them. When he called out the bride, "Katie" mysteriously turned into "Ken." Nobody at the reception was named Ken. -He consistently played music too loudly. We asked him to turn it down several times. Some guests left early because he didn't. When the bride came out during the ceremony, he decided to turn the music up really high. Everyone seated near his speaker had to yell to tell him to turn it down. -He didn't seem to follow the script that closely. A lot of this might have come from the changes we'd made the day of the wedding. -He played an odd version of the song for the first dance. We had picked it because it had meaning for the bride's family, which it still did...after a minute-long medley intro that doesn't show up on most versions of the song. Thankfully we had decided to throw out any choreography, as it would have been completely ruined. -He forgot that the bride's mother had paid him already. At the end of the night he asked for money and, since the bride's mother had already left and no one remaining knew she had already paid him, the bride's father gave him another check. Once we realized what had happened, it still took lots of explaining for him to understand whose check to rip up. All in all, DJ Jack is a good choice for music (we still get compliments on the playlist), flexibility, and if you want pictures right away. If you need things to go perfectly -- and wouldn't be okay with all of your wedding guests calling the bride Ken for the rest of forever -- look elsewhere.

My husband and I used Above & Beyond for our wedding. Jack was quickly to respond to us and helped us in the beginning of our process. DJ Jon was our DJ for the night and did a great job! We sent over our list of songs that we would love to be played as well as the songs for the reception in general and he definitely delivered and played a wonderful mix of all that we wanted as well as fitting in song requests. He worked well to rally up our bridal party before introductions. There were some parts of the evening when songs were played or for instance a toast was being made and not everyone we needed was in the room. So I would have preferred a bit more of an actual timeline so that people knew where to be at what time of the evening. All in all, everyone had a great time on the dance floor all night and he read the room well and kept the party going!

DJ Jack was a great choice for our special day! He was very flexible and kind with all of our song choices, especially with our specific music files we wanted to be played during our procession line. He did a fantastic job taking photos during the wedding- so we can relive our special day all in the same week! Thank you DJ Jack for making our wedding day very memorable! Jack was amazing! I had met him at another friend's wedding a couple of years ago, and knew I wanted him to be our DJ when I started planning. He played our requests, including guest's requests. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night, and I keep hearing such great feedback from guests and how they loved the DJ. Jack was professional and fun. He also takes some great photos!

I would definitely recommend Jack! He played all of the songs we requested and even went out of his way to acquire music that he didn't already have for our reception. He also took a lot of great pictures during our ceremony and reception and shared them with us the next day.

Last night was our wedding reception and it was amazing thanks to Jack! He played all of the songs we requested and so much more!! He went above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly and that our guests were having the best time! Hired him for our wedding, it was a huge mistake. Dj Jack Fahey was in every sense of the word a complete NIGHTMARE. I will list all of his short comings and my complaints below. 1.) He completely ignored the playlist my wife and I gave him for our cocktail hour 2.) He completely ignored the transcript for announcing our Best Man, Maid of honor, and father of the groom speeches/toasts 3.) He drank more Corona than most of our guests. He was drunk for most of our wedding. 4.) He forgot our 'first dance' as a married couple. His excuse when confronted was, "I didn't know where you guys were". 5.) He made inappropriate comments to some of our younger female guests. 6.) His PA and speaker system kept cutting our and making a horrible blaring bass noise. 7.) For our last song/dance, he of course, played the wrong song. 8.) As the evening went on he got more drunk and played the same song twice in a row, (This happened on 5 separate occasions. 9.) He uses a free youtube converter for requested video files, Poor sound quality. Doesn't even has a Spotify app for requests. 10.) He was unapologetic and rude. This man is a village idiot and a drunk.

Jack DJ'd my matron of honor's wedding two years ago, and I knew then that I had to have him DJ my wedding when it became my turn to get married. Jack has real passion for the work he does, and it shows. He was so easy to work with and nailed the type of music we were looking for at our wedding. He kept the dance floor packed all night long! Jack was excellent with which to work! Not only did he take time in learning the exact vibe we were looking for for our wedding, but he also provided us with great selections to keep the crowd dancing! My husband and I used Above & Beyond for our wedding, and the results were fantastic! Jack helped us in the beginning of the booking process and was personable, straightforward with the details, and and answered all of our questions via phone or email. DJ Jon Arvanitis was our DJ for the day and did an amazing job! We gave him an idea of what we were looking for (pretty much a mix of classics, modern, different genres, etc.) and he delivered! He worked well with us leading up to the day and worked well with the venue on the timeline for everything day-of. Everyone had a blast, and people were on the dance floor all night! There was something for everyone, and most of our requests were played. He read the room well and kept the party going!

Outstanding job! Many of are guests commented on this reception being the most fun wedding they had ever been to. Thanks again for a job well done. Highly recommended !

I highly recommend DJ Jack Fahey. He handled every detail. His lighting package made the venue romantic and fun. His music and outgoing personality had the guest from age 5 to 89 dancing all night. He took candid shots and by the next morning I had an email with professional pictures reminding me of all the fun we had. Any event would be a huge success with Jack as your DJ!

Jack went above and beyond! The week before the wedding he called and took an hour to hear about what I wanted my perfect wedding to be/my perfect music and he absolutely delivered the night of the wedding. The music was perfect and everyone was dancing. People are still telling me it was the best wedding music they ever heard. I would absolutely recommend Jack. He is so nice and a wonderful DJ!

Jack was the DJ for our daughter's wedding on May 6, 2017 at the Chalfonte Hotel in Cape May NJ. He was absolutely awesome! The dance floor was constantly packed. When searching for a DJ, our first impression paid off. He was personable and friendly, down to earth, easy to communicate with, and it was obvious he knew his stuff! Oh, and by the way, he takes fantastic pictures too! He is truly a professional, and we would highly recommend him!!!!!

Jack in the best DJ around! He kept are guest's dancing all night, can read the crowd and choose the perfect songs. I am hot a big dancer in general neither is a lot of my family. Jack made this night perfect and the music made are guest enjoy the dancing. Jack's prices are very reasonable and he included lighting for the room at no extra cost. Jack also takes photographs at no charge and captures things that or paid photographer did not, this was also included in the price. If your looking for someone to make your night perfect this is hands down the DJ to do that.

We booked above & beyond for our wedding, Jack was great and answered immediately. He set us up with Jon, as he was DJing another event. We LOVED Jon as did everyone else. We had several special requests( my father had passed and I was having a hard time with the father/daughter dance) he was helpful & accommodating- even with several changes during the event. I would 100% recommend Jon & above and beyond. You will not be disappointed. He made the night run smooth & kept everyone dancing. Two thumbs up!!! One happy bride :)) thank you Jon!!!!

DJ Ken Schaffer was our master DJ at our daughter's wedding last weekend, 10/22/18, at Harbor Pines. From start to finish, he was professional and thorough and prepared. He accommodated many request from the bride, the groom, and the mail of honor. Once the dancing began, that dance floor was full until the last song was played and the lights came on. He was a part of making our daughter's wedding ceremony and reception a truly magical event!!

Jack is completely amazing! We booked him after being to several great weddings that he was the DJ of and he certainly did not disappoint. Book him now! He can read a room and keeps everyone up and dancing. We can't imagine having anyone else as a DJ- Jack was incredible. I have been to many weddings where Jack was the DJ and he was my first phone call when I began planning my wedding. Jack was so easy to work with and he went above and begin to help coordinate my wedding day. No one left the dance floor all night! The music was great, the streamers he brought for the kids were so fun and he pronounced everyone's name properly (my pet peeve). The pictures he took, he provided to us were beautiful. I would recommend him for any event!

Jack really did a spectacular job at our wedding! He is extremely organized, which made planning the event easy. We spoke over the phone several times, and communicated via email, to make sure every last detail was how we wanted it. The night of our wedding, everything went just as we had planned! The music choices were perfect, and everyone was dancing and enjoying themselves. Jack also provided amazing uplighting for our venue, and went above his role as DJ and took amazing pictures of our evening! To top it all off, we received a link to the online album of pictures he took the morning after the wedding. I highly recommend Jack for any event.

We had our wedding this past weekend at the Seaview in Galloway, and hired DJ Ken as our DJ. I know of this company from Bridal Shows, as I worked in bridal for over 10 years and wanted someone reputable for our wedding. DJ Ken surpassed my expectations. He had EVERYONE on the dance floor the entire night. He pays close attention to detail and makes sure every generation of guests is able to enjoy themselves by a well thought out playlist. Jack Fahey was hands down the best DJ that I have ever heard, and I’m so glad we booked him for our wedding! I married the love of my life this past July and we had Jack DJ/MC our cocktail hour and reception. He did a tremendous job! He really knows how to work the crowd and get them on the dance floor. We had such a blast on our wedding and the music was exactly what we were looking for. It was fun and there was music for all age groups. It was the perfect mix of current music and classics. Working with Jack was super easy too. From the planning/contract set-up until the end of the evening on our magical day, everything went off without a hitch! Jack had a wonderful selection of music and anything we requested that he didn’t have, he was able to find. We definitely had some eclectic music requests (like we did a censored version of DMX for our bridal party’s walkout song and Iron Man for our ring bearers) and he was super cool about it and went along with whatever we wanted. “Above and Beyond” doesn’t even begin to describe Jack and how amazing of a DJ/MC he is. I highly recommend his services to friends and family, and hope that we have an occasion where we might be able to use his services again!

Jack Fahey was amazing. He is extremely personable, flexible, and friendly! I was a little apprehensive about having a wedding DJ because I can't remember the last time I went to a wedding and enjoyed the DJ, but from the moment I met Jack, I knew my wedding reception would be in great hands. Jack kept the volume and selection of music appropriate during dinner so that guests could talk to each other without yelling and he read the crowd very well and kept everyone dancing. JackFahey, "Above and Beyond" is the best DJ I have EVER experienced! Whwn you're having a special affair, you not only need the DJ, but an important part of the entertainment is the MC. Jack can customize the music to anyone's taste. He even asks you to list your own favorite songs. The "Beyond " in his logo is very true. He took at least 100 pixes of our affair and gifted them to us!!! He sent them to us via the computer, and I had the beginnings of my album in 2 days, and they were GORGEOUS pixes. In addition, Jack is an absolute doll to work with. He helped make our wedding "a dream come true." I would recommend him, "in a heartbeat"!

Words can't express our gratitude and joy to DJ Jack Fahey for making our wedding personal, memorable and fun! He did it all...from organization of music, providing a sound system for the out door ceremony and special lighting for our reception. We were married on Saturday and by Monday he emailed us a wedding album with over 100 photographs of our day. This was such a nice personal touch. DJ Jack was able to please a diverse age group featuring a 4 year old great niece, a mature bride and groom, and my mother in law who was dancing with her son at the age of 83. Jack Fahey is hands down, no questions asked, the best DJ in the world. Music was my biggest priority when planning our wedding and I knew we were in good hands with Jack. We booked Jack because he had DJed our friend's wedding and I am so glad we found out about him. I literally cannot say enough good things about him. He was the most responsive, accommodating, organized vendor I could ever ask for. When we met with him before the wedding I told him that I wanted people dancing the entire night and because of Jack, they did. So many of our guests came up to me and told me they've never seen a wedding with such a packed dance floor from beginning to end. Our guests could not stop raving about the DJ. Simply put, Jack gave me the wedding of my dreams. Not only is he an amazing DJ, but he is also an amazing person. He is funny, kind, easy-going yet professional, and an overall lovely person to be around. The personality of my vendors was important to me and that was yet another reason why I booked him. Oh, and to top everything off, HE TAKES PICTURES AT NO ADDITIONAL COST AND HE EMAILED THEM TO ME THE NEXT DAY. The pictures that he takes are as awesome as the music he plays! If you are passionate about music and dancing at your wedding, book Jack ASAP.

Can you give more than 5 stars? Because i would! Jack was excellent. I was the type of bride that didn't enjoy the wedding planning at all. We spoke once when i first booked jack and once again a couple days before the wedding. Jack checks out the crowd and feels the vibes and uses his tools to make an awesome party! So many people commented on the "playlist" for the reception. Best party i have ever been to. I can not say any thing other than, if you can book Jack Fahey for your DJ, but don't; you are straight messing up! Not only does Jack run the party, but he took 150 beautiful photos and sent them to me in just a day! What a great guy and professional. Thanks Jack!!!

DJ Ken Schaffer was brilliant at keeping the energy in the party. His playlist of songs was on point with what we had requested and the timing was perfect. When the wedding seemed to be slowing down with about an hour left, he organized a dance that brought everyone back to the dance floor. I would highly recommend Ken to be your DJ.

Our wedding was at the Ocean Club on June 5, 2016. We hired Above and Beyond for our 60 guests. DJ Jon did a great job! Everyone had fun and They were out of their seats dancing. I had several announcements throughout the wedding and all were done professionally. I also sent them a lengthy song play list which they happily accepted and played. Dj Jack Fahey was fabulous right from the beginning. Made us feel comfortable. Gave great advice and listened to everything we asked for. Even when our venue changed, he did an amazing job accommodating us without any problems. Did an outside wedding and the sound was perfect and reception was amazing fun. No one stopped dancing !! Jack did a great job at our wedding on April 29, 2016 at the Smithville Inn. Even though we booked pretty late , he was very accommodating. We met with Jack to discuss the music choices and the order of everything and he was open to whatever we wanted. We had a list of music we wanted played and a list of music we didn't want- he took it all into account when making the selections. He played a great mix of songs for each part of the evening (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) and everyone commented on how much fun they had. I highly recommend Above & Beyond!
