THE BEST! Dan and Silvia are true professionals with a flair for making creative and delicious food. When my husband and I began planning our wedding, we agreed NO RUBBER CHICKEN. We wanted to have good food at the wedding that guests would appreciate. And we had terrific food! They let us tailor the menu to our liking and did not flinch when our guest list grew from the original plan.We opted for a raw bar, which of course is not easy to arrange, let alone in the second floor of a historic museum, but they pulled it off flawlessly. Another major perk was offering our guests the 4 entrée choices, (rather than the usual 3)with accommodations for those with allergies. If that were not enough, Dan and Silvia were extremely organized and communicative throughout our wedding planning process. I feel so fortunate that we found them because they made the day so special for us and for our guests. Not only are they genuinely nice people, they care about what they do. THANK YOU!

For our wedding, we searched for the right people to do our catering. We found a fantastic couple Dan and Silvia Moss who run Above the Clouds catering. They were helpful beyond belief, from the planning stages, where they suggested things that we never thought of but would want for our guests, helped with our budget, the logistics of tent, tables/ chairs , linens, and above all the food, to the actual reception where they made the food fresh, put together a fantastic gorgeous wedding cake, and helped clean up the facility. Let me tell you about the food... We wanted something different where we could please everyone. We started our Hor D'oeuvres with tuna tartar on a wonton crisp and wasabi cream, wonderful, we has duck confit crostini with spiced orange syrup, MMMMM, roasted tomato tartlets with mozzarella and basil, deeeelisious, fresh oysters that they shucked right there, fois gras pate with baguette and sea salt. To me this is fancy food but they can whip this stuff up like no other. For our buffet they put together, and I'm no salad guy, this amazing baby spinach salad with watermelon, pistachios, and feta cheese with lemon vinaigrette. On our buffet we had Texas style BBQ brisket, smoked pork, with some amazing horseradish sauce and BBQ sauce soooooooo good. I don't want to bore you with the details of the rest of the food but once we hired these guys every thing they did was seamless and without any worries on our side. You know how great athletes make impossible things look easy - well that's Dan and Silvia in the catering world. Can't say enough good things about Above the Clouds Catering, I would give them 10 stars out of 5, that's how good they are as well as the food they prepare. I will never go anywhere else for any of my catering needs.

Dan and Silvia and there entire staff was wonderful! they were outstanding! From the very beginning, Dan and Silvia worked with us to figure what the best menu for our wedding would be! they catered to our taste and the style that we wanted for our wedding- and it turned out amazing! Our wedding would not have been as magical if not for them! Not only did everybody rave about the delicious food and service but their staff especially Carol helped us get through our wedding without a flaw! I cannot say enough positive things about Dan and Silvia and their team!

Above the Clouds catered my backyard wedding two weeks ago and I cannot say enough good things about them. If you need a caterer for any event, choose Above the Clouds. They provided outstanding food, service, and advice at my wedding of over 100 people. They were adaptable and easygoing, happy to do whatever they could to make our wedding perfect. After speaking with Dan and Silvia about our budget and what we wanted in our menu, they listened and constructed a menu that was EXACTLY what we were looking for AND within budget. This is something that no other caterers that we had spoken with were able to do. They then put together a tasting night for my fiancee and me, as well as both of our parents, and asked us to be critical, but we couldn’t find anything to be critical about. The food was delicious. After the tasting we knew we were in very good hands. During the planning process, the caterers offered so many tips and suggestions, and helped us make sure we hadn’t forgotten a single detail. They even helped us to develop a timeline for the wedding. They also were fine with “improvising” if the day had turned stormy and our 100 guests had to move into the house. The day of the wedding came and everything went perfectly. The food was incredible and the service was seamless. All of our guests raved about how delicious the food was, many of whom said it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding. The service was also great. We had passed hors d’oeurves on the lawn, during which my husband and I were having photographs taken. The caterers made sure that the servers tracked us down to give us our share of the appetizers. For dinner service, we opted for a buffet. The caterers took it upon themselves to make both of us heaping plates, with ample portions of everything, so that we didn’t have to negotiate the crowds to serve ourselves. This level of attentiveness and service was so unexpected and appreciated. Dan & Silvia also appointed a member of their staff to keep us on schedule. Carol made sure we remembered to have a first dance, to have the toasts, and to cut & serve the cake. This was hugely helpful, as we were both pretty overwhelmed! Above the Clouds did a wonderful job and we can’t wait to find another occasion for us to use their services!
