Abreo did a great job for catering our wedding! Karen was a pleasure to work with and was flexible and showed understanding when I wasn’t sure what I wanted! The staff the day of the wedding were also very amazing and accommodating!

A truly awesome experience, from our tasting at their restaurant to them adjusting their menu to accommodate every guest's dietary needs. Their food was what everyone talked about the next day. With great main dishes and excellent apps, some of which were saved for us to enjoy during the craziness of the day. Karen was great at coordinating with us to organize the day.

If you're looking for a delicious and elevated culinary experience in the Chicago suburbs, you have to check out Abreo. Their food is top notch and the experience is equally excellent. My fiance and I had initially planned for Abreo to cater our wedding, but COVID required us to make many changes. Karen was understanding throughout the process and we greatly appreciated her flexibility. Planning a wedding during COVID was stressful enough, but Karen made it easier. Although we weren't able to hold the reception we initially planned, we did have a chance to enjoy Abreo with our immediate families after the rehearsal the night before and it was a perfect evening. It wasn't the first time we visited Abreo and it won't be our last. Highly recommend Abreo for your catering needs (...or even just for a meal if you're in town).

DJing at Abreo Restaurant was as smooth as it gets!!!! Friendly staff all around, tasty crafty cocktails, elegant modern decor, beautiful ceremony area, and intimate reception area just right for a small wedding! Food is 11 out of 10 stars, no joke there. No complaints what so ever, and I usually find something. Great experience, I hope to be back here in the near future! Paul is not only a professional chef who produces unbelievable dishes, but he's a personable guy who genuinely cares about your opinion and comfort during a tasting. My fiance and I were blown away by not only his hospitality, but his staff's as well. 10/10, couldn't have chosen a better caterer for our wedding, and we're excited for our guests to be blown away. Had an intimate wedding (55 people) in their private dining room. Food was AMAZING! Our guests still keep telling me how much they enjoyed it. They were so professional and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

This was the best wedding food I've ever had, and I'm not just saying that because it was my wedding! Paul, the owner, uses locally grown and in season foods to make some of the best food you will ever have. Abreo was recommended to us as one of our venues preferred vendors. We tried one of the other vendors for lunch and then ate at Abreo for dinner. We decided right then that we did not need to try any other restaurant as no one could even compare to Abreo. The food was presented just as perfect as it tasted. Paul was extremely helpful in working with us to create a diverse menu for both our wedding night and rehearsal dinner that was within our budget. He was also very accommodating to our guests varying dietary needs (kids dish, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, as well as diabetic). Our guests all complemented how great the food and service was. If you're in the Rockford area, I highly recommend trying out Paul's restaurants (Abreo, Social, and PK diner). I promise you will not be disappointed!

We loved the food at our wedding!! Abreo took care of appetizers, dinner, drinks and our late night bites and all of our guests just raved about the food at the wedding. Karen and her team were really great to work with as well!

Everything from Abreo was absolutely delicious; we have been getting rave reviews from everyone in attendance! We served the beef tenderloin, chicken/mushroom/lemon crepe and butternut squash tortelloni as our main entrees and everything was perfect! Even served buffet-style. Karen, her husband (Paul? I think...) and the Abreo staff made everything perfect. At the end of the meal, Paul even came over to personally ask me if everything was OK....that was huge in my book!

I loved working with Karen, Paul and the Abreo team. We loved their story, food and professionalism so much we decided to book them for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception--who does that?! The food was incredible both nights and the service was outstanding. I have had tons of our guests come up and tell me that the food was the best wedding food they have ever had (and I quote "this wasn't the lean cuisine we typically get at a wedding, this was a legit meal!). Also, the vegetarians were thrilled that they, too, got a great meal. I had such a wonderful time working with Karen and was 100% confident that they would be flawless in providing an excellent meal to our guests and they did.
