Ryan was the absolute perfect DJ and created the most flawless, fun, and engaging reception we could have asked for. It was the perfect balance of planned and open dancing time. He was great to work with during the entire planning process and really put our minds at ease by truly running the reception. We knew we could rely on Ryan to keep us on time and stress free during the entire event. Ryan really took the time to get to know us as a couple and that was reflected in our reception. He was so patient with all of our questions and all around just a great partner to work with during the planning and the event day. He traveled to Kansas City for our wedding and the travel cost was reasonable, plus he took the time on a personal trip to stop by the venue and look around/take measurements for us. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ! Ryan said in our first meeting that he feels like he creates the "soundtrack" and "experience" that your guests have during the reception he did that better than we ever could have dreamed. Ryan was a pleasure to work with! From the day we first contacted him, he was responsive to our communications. After we booked, he was unfailingly organized and honestly even more on top of our wedding details than us! He creates personal online accounts for each couple, allowing you to track payments, put together your wedding playlist (and no play list!), and provide all of the details regarding your ceremony/reception and other vendors. He helped us create a detailed timeline for our big day, and then he helped us stay on track (without be pushy or slavish to the schedule). Ryan has a warm presence that all of our guests enjoyed - he doesn't have a cheesy DJ persona. He has a great deal of experience with weddings, and we frequently asked him for advice - which he generously gave.

Ryan is an absolute pro! He was easy to get in touch with (and stay in touch with throughout the planning process), has an excellent online planning form that allows you to track what information/payment he still needs from you, and clearly knows the business. He did our lighting in the reception area, pipe and drape for our ceremony altar, ceremony sound/music, ran a projector and slideshow during our big dances, and then did the music for the whole night of course! He also served as the MC for the evening. (SIDE NOTE: It was so convenient to have a company that could do lighting, pipe and drape, and music.) He was always tasteful with everything he said and did throughout the evening. We were very happy with his music selections. He slipped in our requested songs, but kept guests on the dance floor with crowd pleasers. He has a great online planning form, so it was easy to tell him songs that we did and did not want to show up throughout the night. However, what really blew us away, was his surprise for us. We told him that we didn't have anything planned for our exit at the end of the evening (we figured the party would just peter out and we would just catch the limo and go), except that we had a slow song that we wanted played. He said he would surprise us, and his surprise ended up being our favorite moment of the whole night! He had all the guests that were still remaining circle up around my husband and I, had us close our eyes and start to dance, and then he started to play the song (Exitlude by The Antlers). He and his assistant (while they had been running the music and everything else) had taken sound bites from our ceremony and the dinner toasts from 2 hours before and had overlaid them on to the song. My husband and I were both in tears, as were almost all the remaining guests. It was unbelievably beautiful and went so above anything we expected or even imagined. Ryan and his team are true professionals committed to making the wedding fairytale happen.

Our daughter requested Kevin based on feedback from friends who had been at weddings where he was the DJ. Well, they were right to recommend him! Kevin is the best at involving the crowd, keeping things going, communicating with the family and playing music that keeps people on the dance floor. If something isn't working, he switches things up to get the guests involved. He's GREAT!
