We got married in November and Doug was our DJ. He exceeded anything that I could have ever imagined in a DJ. Doug’s planning form really helped us decide on our special songs and break down the flow of the reception. We put him up to the task of mixing in country with some Hispanic music and our dance floor was packed the entire night. Doug was great to work with and really helped make our big day perfect!

Choosing Absolute DJs was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. Doug was so prompt answering my questions and phone calls. When it came to our big day, Tom was wonderful. Our DJ, Doug, walked us through every step of the process, including a face to face meeting to plan our wedding reception timeline. All the online planning tools were easy to use, and allowed us to pick out exactly what songs we wanted played. He was very professional and experienced and made sure that all the small details that were important to us were taken care of. Tom from absolute DJ was great! He was very professional, accommodating, and patient with us and our guests. We received so many compliments from our guests about the DJ services! Absolute djs provided us with six hours of DJ services, the dance floor lighting, and up-lighting. Tom was willing to stick around for an additional hour at the reception because our guests just wouldn't leave the dance floor! I would recommend them to anyone getting married!

Tom Potts with Absolute DJs was amazing! He did a wonderful job of allowing all of the evenings events to flow so smoothly! He managed time well, rounded up various family members for pictures and did such a great of creating a wonderful reception atmosphere. Doug did a great job as our DJ! He was very professional and treated everything from initial preparation to day-of execution with attention to detail. He accommodated all of the songs we wanted to play and even helped us mix a custom walk-out line-up for us during the reception. His planning tool made creating our play-list (and do-not-play list) very simple. We also appreciated his efforts with coordinating the logistics of the reception (calling up people for toasts, organizing for special dances, etc). Absolute DJs was wonderful to work with from beginning to end! We planned our wedding in Springfield, OH from Columbus which was challenging. Tom, our DJ, drove 30 miles out of his way to meet us in person at our venue on a Sunday, and worked around our crazy schedule to have a late night FaceTime meeting a few weeks before the wedding. Our wedding day was crazy, as to be expected, and we were pulled in all directions, unable to keep control of all the things that needed to happen on my very strictly planned schedule. Tom kept us on pace through all of the formalities without pushing us to rush. The flow of the night felt perfect and it was very much due to his ability to control the evening from the DJ booth. My big request was to set off paper lanterns at dusk. Tom worked appearing seamlessly with our photographers and videographer to get the entire wedding (a big one!) outside the pavilion to participate and make a vision come to life! Can't thank Tom and Absolute DJ's enough for making our night incredible! I highly recommend the company!

We had an absolutely amazing experience at our wedding with Absolute DJs! Gary was great and we got tons of compliments from our guests on how much they enjoyed the music. It was really comforting to go into our first meeting with the DJ having everything planned out already. Doug was absolutely amazing! He walked us through every step of the night both before (in our planning meetings) and during the reception itself. We had Doug, the owner, as our DJ and he did a fantastic job! He kept the party going and was great at letting guest know when food, dessert, and drinks were available. He is so professional and has been in the business a long time. His lights and equipment is awesome and he keeps the reception moving flawlessly. Right after I entered the reception, April came right up and asked what I wanted to drink and went to the bar for me. I thought that was so thoughtful! We were extremely pleased with the full experience we had with Absolute-DJ. They were very helpful in getting the music and lighting prepared for the wedding. Both Doug and Tom were very professional, energetic, and passionate about their work which put us in ease...we were in good hands. The site experience they provide is fantastic. It really helped us plan the music and schedule for key parts of our reception. And lets just say without Tom DJing our wedding, we would have been cutting the cake at 10. He was awesome in keeping us on track and making sure the night progressed as we planned. And most importantly, he kept the guests dancing all night long. They also have other services like lighting. Heck yes! It was easy to have them provide the Uplighting instead of pulling in another vendor. They were able to have the Uplighting on the dance floor flash to the music once the party started. We had a blast working with Absolute-DJs!

I cannot say enough about Doug Haney and Absolute DJs. My husband and I were very impressed from the first meeting with his online tools for selecting music. Absolute DJs had tons of great music to select and even got some custom songs for us for special dances. Doug was a tremendous Emcee - he really kept the flow going and was super organized! Doug has a great style and personality that really made the reception fun. Doug helped us pick great music for dinner and was on-point for all of our unique aspects of the reception. Doug took requests but still played the music we really wanted. And, Doug asked us before playing a song with foul language, which helped us get the song played later in the night when most of the people who might have been upset were gone, which made everyone happy! Absolute-DJ was amazing!!! I loved the online planning! I was able to sit down one night and go through the whole reception and plan accordingly. I have never planned a wedding before and Gary was awesome at helping me with areas of the reception I wasn't sure how to plan!!! Everyone at the reception was up dancing and having a great time! I also loved how Gary kept communicating with me the whole night about what was happening next and making sure everything was running smoothly! Way to go Absolute DJ!!!

Doug was the DJ for my June wedding and he was awesome! Him and his assistant were very gracious and organized throughout the evening. The one issue I had was that for the last hour or so of the reception he played guest's requests (which I was not a fan of) instead of what I put on my list. Honestly though, I was so wrapped up in the fun of the night that I didn't really care that much in the moment. Overall, great company, pricey, but worth it if it's in your budget

Doug was the most amazing DJ I could have asked for to help us celebrate our wedding. I literally cannot say enough great things about his business and him personally. When I spoke to him on the phone while talking with DJs for the wedding, he was extremely professional; I also enjoyed how he was able to make a few jokes and made it seem like I was talking to a friend. I knew as soon as I spoke to him that's who I wanted as my DJ. His online planning tool made everything during the planning process easy, and our meeting a month out made me feel extremely comfortable and that we were ready to party. During the wedding, he and April went above and beyond by helping out in every aspect, which I am extremely grateful for. The fact he exceeded my biggest request (having people dancing all night, from my 2 year old cousin to my 84 year old Grandfather and Great Uncle) is what created the best night ever. I highly recommend Absolute DJs to all you brides and grooms who are looking to have a reception where EVERYONE is up dancing! Planning and communicating was super easy using their online planning forms, email, and even a Skype meeting to finalize details. Doug is very professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about ensuring that your reception is exactly what you envision. I was skeptical of his promise that he would be able to get all of our guests out on the dance floor, but he absolutely fulfilled his promise! Absolute DJ's were great to work with! Living 3 states away I was nervous working with vendors, but they eased all of my worries and through Skype and online planning it was easy to plan. Kevin was our DJ and was outstanding, very flexible and kept our party rocking into the night!

This is the best DJ Service around, they cater to your needs, play the music you want and pick out. They will stay past your slotted time. We had them from 5-9, ended up keeping them until midnight! They get everyone (all ages) out of their chairs and dancing! They are just all around fun and a great addition to any wedding or party! They've done numerous weddings for us and Christmas parties! Highly recommend - would never use another DJ service!

Absolute DJs provided exceptional service at our wedding. Tom was great and answered any and all questions I had. He even made sure all finishing touches with decorating the reception ballroom were done. There were a few things unfinished that needed to be done. I called him literally five minutes before I walked down the isle to make sure certain drapes were hung for the reception, he ran over to the reception hall checked it out then came back to let me know everything was fine. That was not his job, but his number was the only one I could remember at the time. He really made sure my day ran smooth. I received compliments all night long about how good Tom was. Tom, YOU ROCK!!!!! Doug the owner also made himself available for any questions prior to the wedding. Although we never met, he was always pleasant over the phone and seem to be available to talk and answer questions anytime I called. I would definitely recommend Absolute DJs to anyone in need. As a prom advisor, I've worked with Absolute DJs several times. I knew Tom Potts would be the perfect DJ for my wedding. He is fun and gets guests involved without being cheesy or overbearing. He really helped us with the planning process as well. Tom sat down with my husband and I and went through all of the scheduling of the day. On the day he was efficient, professional, and friendly. Absolute DJs' website is great and super easy to use as well. I highly recommend them!

We worked with Tom Potts. He was wonderful! He did exactly as we asked and more. We really enjoyed working with him. At one point we were supposed to meet and we had a heavy snow and didn't want to go out. Tom was flexible enough to Skype with us instead! Also, the Absolute website is terrific for planning things ahead of time. Doug (the owner) can be overbearing, but I would strongly recommend Tom. :)

Doug took charge and made everything at the reception run so smoothly, and kept the music going and the dance floor full! We found Absolute-Djs because another friend had used them for their wedding. We hit the jackpot with our dj. Tom was organized (waaaay more organized than we were!), but understood that our wedding was meant to be informal. He kept things moving along and made great suggestions during the planning phase, but made sure that we never felt scheduled to death! He had a great sense of humor, and we were glad to have him as part of our big day. Doug, the owner, was also fabulous in the early part of the process. We're planning on throwing anniversary parties every year, and we'll definitely be calling them again.

Absolute DJs was a pleasure working with for our wedding. My husband and I wanted a DJ to make our wedding since we had around 450 guest invited. Doug and Tom were on top of things from the day we booked the day. Our wedding was outside at our family farm/pond. We had Tom Potts booked for our ceremony as well as the reception for unlimited since we were not renting a reception spot. Tom was great at pleasing the guest as well as pleasing my husband and I. We loved the service we received from Absolute DJs. From the first point of contact they were extremely professional and had a very prompt response. We had Tom for our wedding and he was awesome! He met with us a few weeks ahead of time to go over everything and we immediately felt comfortable with him and knew he would do a good job and not be one of those annoying DJs you see at weddings. He provided the sound for our ceremony which was flawless and then did our reception. He listened to what we wanted and did a great job at keeping the evening going! We used Absolute DJs for our wedding and were very pleased. Cost was $750 for a 5 hour reception and it was worth every penny. Did a great job of keeping a good volume on the music, helping to keep the evening flowing, and creating a great party atmosphere once the formalities were finished. My step-daughter was fortunate enough to have Doug Haney and April for their DJ's. What a fantastic team! They were more than typical wedding DJ's, they were true "Master of Ceremonies" From the time of arrival to the last song both of them were very attentive to the bridal party, and all the guests. They were not at all intrusive like I've seen at other wedding receptions. They kept the flow going during all the traditional speeches and dances. Prior to our arrival, they noticed that our centerpiece candles weren't lit or our side color wash lights weren't turned on so they took the initiative to take care of that before the guests arrived. I will refer them whenever I have the opportunity!

He is awesome at getting back to you if you have any questions through the process before the big day, and he is honestly the reason why our wedding flowed so smoothly from one event to the next. Doug isn't just a DJ, he lets guests know what's going on throughout the evening and was in contact with me every step of the way, letting me know when we were about to move on to the next event. Not only is he basically a coordinator for the wedding, but his DJ services also offer great tools like an online client log in where you can look through their huge selection of music (they literally have every song you can think of) and make your own playlist for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. He also takes pictures during the reception and makes them available to you soon afterwards, which is really nice if your wedding photographer takes forever to get your photos to you. If you're looking for a DJ in the area, I would honestly recommend Absolute-DJ’s 100%...you just can’t go wrong.

Having been to many weddings in the last several years, it became apparent to me that a DJ can "make or break" the flow and guest interactions of a wedding reception. After my first meeting with Doug prior to the wedding, I knew that our celebration would be in good hands. The online playlist tool allowed my husband and I to add "must play" and "do not play" songs throughout our engagement as we thought of them up until a couple weeks before the big day.
