thout any touch ups and looked flawless the whole time. She was on time and did exactly what I asked for. I initially did the trial and the colors weren’t me, had nothing to do with my makeup artist, she executed the photo I showed her perfectly. We were able to pivot and figured out what worked for me. I say this because sometimes when you feel like you should just go to another artist isn’t always the solution, it’s about figuring out what works for you. I couldn’t have asked for a better makeup and hair artist. She is so sweet and kind. Love that I can have a conversation with her and she was protective of making sure I was ready and fully done before the Photogrpaher was trying to get me out for my photos. Which I highly appreciated because the day of wedding is so stressful and people are pulling you all ways and she made sure that I was fully done and felt my absolute best before sending me out for photos. job on the bridesmaids but Kat probably took on too many people the day of the wedding to do the work properly. Though Kat is kind and friendly, she doesn't have the best control on timing. She started with me, stopped switched to Mother of the Bride, stopped, took a 45 minute break (which would be ok but she asked us to start at 8:00am so I was concerned on timing since photos started at 1/2pm), then a bridesmaid, then mother of the bride, then me, then mother of the bride, and finally got to my mother in law who was 1 hour late to the photos due to how late we were running. When Kat is able to dedicate time to you, the makeup is flawless. My issue is really the timing and truly ask to either decline the work if it's too many people or hire more people. Even with the queen for the day package, only the bride got touch ups -- none of the other people including the mothers got any touch ups throughout the day. I didn't involve myself with the timing because I trust the vendor knows their business best and this is my first time as part of the bridal party (not sure what the right time is to start or order to do things). If you have a special event and only plan to do your makeup, I still recommend Kat. If you have a bridesmaid crew, please choose someone else or ask for more makeup artists to assist so you're on time and your makeup isn't caked. My mother and mother in law had to redo their makeup because it ended up caked up.
Edit: my bridal party was 4 bridesmaids (one of which is my sister with disabilities and during the trial it was communicated that she just needed light makeup), Bride, and mothers of bride and groom.

I’m so sorry to hear that the wedding-day timing caused stress. That’s never the experience I want for a bride or her family. I’d like to provide some clarification for context, as well as reassurance for future clients.
On wedding days with larger parties, services are scheduled based on the agreed timeline and selected package. Service order and touch-ups are planned in advance, and the Queen for the Day package is a 10 hour day, which includes a lunch break for the stylist, and dedicated touch-ups for the bride, as outlined at booking. Mothers and bridal party members are scheduled for full services only unless additional touch-up coverage is added... although certainly if someone in the party really needs a touchups, I am willing to help!
At your wedding, I remember the source of the scheduling delay being a sister who was originally booked as a flower girl at a reduced price and shorter time slot... but ended up being an adult with full hair & makeup needs. I went ahead and fulfilled her requests, but in retrospect I see I should have saved that adjustment for the end of the day's schedule, so that your mother in law's appointed time would not be affected.
That said, I always aim to ensure everyone feels confident and cared for, and I regret that your mother and mother-in-law were unhappy with their final result.
I wish I had known they were feeling that way, and certainly I would have touched them up;
We want everyone to be happy with their hair & makeup and are always willing to make adjustments as requested.
I take feedback like this seriously and continuously review timelines and staffing needs to ensure smooth, stress-free mornings — especially for larger groups.
Open communication and clear expectations are incredibly important to me, and I’m always happy to discuss timelines, provide more artist support by bringing on additional team members, and package options in advance to ensure the best possible experience.

r a Day” package, and let me tell you this was the most relaxed, carefree part of my day. As a bride, I couldn’t ask for a better getting ready experience! This included hair & makeup for myself, 5 bridesmaids as well as the mother of the bride and mother of the groom. It also eased a lot of stress by having hair & makeup touchups until right before the reception for the bride.
My bridesmaids and moms all LOVED how their hair and makeup turned out for the big day. As for my hair & makeup, Kat absolutely NAILED the look I was going for. I was really happy with the trial, and somehow, on the day of my wedding she even managed to exceed my expectations here.
I like a full glam makeup look, and requested a “Hollywood glam” wave/curl, which I know requires a ton of skill and maintenance throughout the day. Kat absolutely hit it out of the park with how I wanted to look on the big day. My Ceremony was at 6:00 PM and my after party lasted until 5:00 AM (Yes, AM!). My hair and makeup managed to last just as long as the party did, which is insanely impressive! I felt like the most beautiful version of myself on my wedding day, and words cannot express how grateful I am that I went with Kat for the big day. At the end of it all, I didn’t want to take my hair and makeup off. In the future, I hope to reach out to Kat again to recreate this look for another event – that’s how much I LOVED it!!

, so her help here was so appreciated). Her team was professional and kind and kept us on time (we did my bridal hair and makeup + hair & makeup for 7 bridesmaids plus my mom). Everyone looked beautiful! Lastly, I danced SO HARD at my wedding and my makeup and hair still looked so good at the end of the night. Idk what magic Kat worked to keep me from looking like a swamp witch by the end of the night but I literally couldn't recommend her more!

ok all of that and turned it into magic!!
I wanted “my face but better glam” (so helpful I’m sure) - I wanted to look like the best version of me. Kat took so much time with me for our trial, tried multiple things, and helped me figure out what I wanted. Not only that, she has the most wonderful calm energy - just so totally zen in an area of your life where you’re already freaking out - it was absolutely priceless.
She made me look better than I knew I could. She gave my mom her first ever professional hair and makeup and I think my mom cried when she needed to take it off, lol. She made my natural-inclined bridesmaid look incredible, helped my glamorous matron of honor get the zhuzh she was hoping for, and even helped my brother (and man of honor) with his complexion and brows so he’d look as polished as the rest of us. All the while she was just so kind and good natured with us - absolutely worth every penny.
The prices are SOO reasonable (you know how insane it can be, since you’re here reading reviews) and honestly I looked the same at 1am as I did when she finished my makeup at 4pm. It was like magic. I hope I have something fancy again sometime soon, because Kat is officially stuck doing my makeup forever and ever. If you’re still reading this - I obviously cannot recommend Kat enough!!

e process. I rarely wear makeup so it was important to me to find someone I felt comfortable with and who understood the soft natural glam look I wanted. And WOW did Kat knock it out of the park!!! She made me feel so comfortable and special during my trial, even encouraging me as I saw myself in different looks—after months of stress and planning, it was one of the first moments where I actually started to feel like a real bride. On my wedding day, her professionalism and skills shined with much attention to detail on my look. She also worked on my two bridesmaids and mom and all three looked effortlessly chic. I was especially happy to have some one-on-one time with Kat to connect more personally and also to fully enjoy the moment, because I had never felt so beautiful and pampered before! Her presence eased my nerves for the day and as I started to see the final look come together, it made me more excited to walk down the aisle. I was in awe of how confident I felt seeing myself in my final wedding gown and owe it to Kat for helping me look and feel stunning on such a significant day. The amount of compliments I received after the ceremony and reception further amplified the positive emotions I felt having hired Kat. If I had to do it over, I would choose Kat again and again!!
