Absolutely Delicious Catering truly lives up to their name. Not in just their food but their service as well. From Day 1 of inquiry through pandemic rescheduling to the very end, they couldn't have been more attentive and perfect. Their food is unbelievably tasty, so good we had a hard time deciding what to choose for our big day since we loved it all. Their team went above and beyond for our guests on our wedding day and even made sure to come speak to me, the bride and groom, to make sure we were ok or needed anything. Our guests are still talking about the food - its been a week! Nothing but good things like how flavorful everything was, how juicy the chicken was and how the food was the perfect temperature upon arrival. We had such a wonderful experience and I'm so blessed. Book for your next event you won't regret it!

Unreliable and not respectful of food allergies. We were attempting to hire this company for a 150+ person wedding. We were assigned Gina as our point of contact. We were asking that they accommodate a specific food allergy and they assured us it was no problem. They wasted over a month of our time rescheduling our tasting over and over. When we arrived for the tasting, we were presented with a menu which had in bold red letters NO ONIONS which is the bride’s food allergy. They then promptly served us every single dish covered in onions. When we questioned Gina about it, she gave us a blank stare saying oh well we won’t do that at the wedding. Just don’t eat the onions and pick around it. Seriously. the bride is here for a tasting and she can’t taste the food. Gina, literally never even said she was sorry. She did not go back to the kitchen and attempt to talk to the chef about giving the bride something she could taste without worry. My husband asked about the sauces containing onion and Gina said “ Oh the sauces don’t have onion”. She clearly did not care because anybody with food allergies or in the catering business knows that marinades and sauces are replete with allergens that you have to really watch. I understand that accidents happen but the complete lack of concern and the aloof manner in which this was was treated was shocking. Gina just looked at us blankly and never even uttered the words I’m sorry or let me see what I can do to fix this. Additionally, I then specifically asked Gina, “Assuming we can get this onion allergy addressed in the menu, you’ll hold our date/spot until we can get your final Proposal/contract”? She assured us that if they got requests for our date we would have first choice and she would advise our wedding coordinator. While we were waiting on a proposal, which did not come promptly, we received an email from Gina through our coordinator, stating they had booked another larger event on our date. Clearly they did not want to be hassled with food allergies. They want large easy events where they can churn and burn easy cookie cutter catering menus. If you want a specialty menu or you have special dietary restrictions, this is NOT the catering company for you. The food quality I thought was just OK. My husband said his meat has gristle in it and he secretly had to spit it out. For the most part, the food was good but in my opinion not great. If you were looking for a well priced caterer and you have no food allergies, a very large event, and will except B quality food, then this may be the caterer for you. Just make sure you lock them in if you decide to hire them because they will sell your date out from under you if they get a better offer, despite what they tell you.

ADC catering makes delicious food, but from our experience, they are extremely unprofessional. I (the bride) have a food allergy, so before our tasting, we specifically asked that they make sure the food was not incorporated in any of the meals they were very accommodating and assured us it would not be a problem. It was written in all caps and red ink across every page of the menu when we selected it for the tasting and when we arrived at the tasting. The food came, and the food I am allergic to was all over the main dishes we were tasting. The woman we were working with did not offer any apology, did not offer to have the food remade, and made no efforts to even acknowledge that this was a big deal. I had to pick around to even get a taste of the food that would be served at my wedding. When we politely asked how we could make sure this would not happen at the wedding, she said she would make sure it was "written in red, bold letters on the menu" (which is literally what she did before and clearly did not work). I was so disappointed because the food was good, but the experience was awful. A week later, while we were waiting on them to send us a new proposal with the food items we selected (because they told us that is what they were going to do), they informed us that they went ahead and booked a Gala on our wedding date and could no longer help us. We spent a month waiting to get a tasting with them, it was rescheduled three times before we finally did, they gave me the one food I am allergic to, and then they told us they would get back to us with a proposal, but came back instead saying they were booked and we were on our own. Literally the most unprofessional, disappointing experience I have ever had with a vendor. Great food, but work with them at your own risk.

While most people will joke that you never really get to eat on your wedding day, I know that the food I left on my plate unintentionally was delicious. We got to taste the menu ofcourse well ahead of the big day, so naturally I was looking forward to it. Heck, I even ordered the chicken and the steak option! Between all the excitement I had a few bites of our delicious meal and then was up and hanging out. I assure you though that we had tons and tons of compliments on the food both that night and for days to come from our guests and the service on the day of was nothing other than top notch.

Absolutely Delicious did it again! Another wonderful experience! Nidia, Rene and the entire staff are top-notch! We received so many compliments on the food! Not only was it extremely tasty but Rene and his staff were able to serve the whole room very quickly and professionally. Throughout the evening, they made sure everything ran smoothly and were so helpful. We had a few repeat guests who were very happy to hear we were using the same caterer as we did with our other daughter's wedding. They still remember how good the food was from 2 years ago! You will be so happy with Absolutely Delicious!

We loved the choice we made for catering. We had a little rough start with communication but they more than made up for it. Our catering manager was so attentive during the wedding. They brought us a plate to our cottage so we could eat privately, made sure we had some appetizers at our table so we got to have that since we were not there for cocktail hour. They even wrapped up another plate for us to go and my sweet mom froze it for us so we could enjoy the amazing meal one more time when we got home from our honeymoon. Plus, so many people have been coming up to us to tell us how great the food was. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know getting married in the area.

My husband and I loved working with Gina at Absolutely Delicious. Everything from the tasting to the communication to the meal the day-of was done with care and attention. We had several picky eaters come up to us at the wedding and compliment us on the food. That, and the presentation and flower arrangments along the buffet was STUNNING... a bonus that I honestly hadn't expected and that really blew me away. This is a very professional business that isn't just trying to impress the bride and groom... they actually care whether the guests enjoy their food or not. My only regret is that I didn't get to thank Gina personally before we got whisked away. Y'all are the best. I recommend them to any brides and grooms in the market for a stress-free (and tasty!) wedding.

I had a great experience with Absolutely Delicious Catering. They are affordable and they are consistent. They work with your needs. My account manager Gina was amazing. Not only did it feel like I was talking to a friend at the initial food tasting, throughout the process she was professional and easy to get a hold of. She always answered all of my questions whether it was by email or by phone. Their work is also very consistent. What I tasted as the food tasting is what I had for dinner. We had an open bar and all of my guests were pleased with their service. My husband really liked the service of the bartenders. I would recommend ADC to anyone planning an event.

Booked them at the Bridal Extravaganza, tested all the other vendors and this was the last one. Caught my eye due to the presentation, not the actual customer service. Once booked, the coordinator Gina was kind and very explanatory, she walked me through it all. Selecting not only food, but linens, plates, chairs, and even a bar. They were the go to vendor! People are still ranting about the food, the decor, and especially the open bar ! Highly recommend ! ! ! Ask for Gina ! ! ! Best Experience ever.

This was our second time to use this caterer, for our other daughter's wedding. Food and service was once again excellent! They have a wide selection of menu items to choose from, and Nidia is very helpful, and willing to do everything possible to please the client. We received many compliments on the food from our guests. Absolutely Delicious is a caterer you can trust for your event!

Absolutely Delicious is very true to its name! The food is amazing! You will not be disappointed in any of their dishes. The catering staff was very nice and made sure we had all that we needed during the wedding. Gina Salazar was my main point of communication with them and she was very helpful and answered all my questions. 10/10 would order again and again and again!!!

Absolutely PERFECT! We worked with Gina Salazar who was so incredibly helpful. We called and even though our wedding day was already fully booked, Absolutely Delicious Catering made an exception and was able to cater our special day. We chose them because of outstanding recommendations from friends and our venue. Throughout the planning process, Gina answered my endless questions and was extremely helpful in guiding us through our timeline and recommending portions. They also went above and beyond while coordinating our cake cutting and also our late night pizza delivery! On top of that, they lent us their cake cutting utensils and offered chargers for free. Our tasting was delicious and ADC was able to accommodate our tight schedule and let us re-try one dish. ADC also helped with the wording on our wedding menus to make sure we had it right. Top notch! On the day of our wedding, the serving staff was exceptional and were very helpful and respectful of all of our guests. Even better, they didn’t clear drinks away too soon which was a concern for us. One of the waiters even had a break dance off with the guests – big hit! The BEST part was that numerous guests told us that our food was “the best wedding food they had ever had!” We highly recommend Absolutely Delicious Catering – it was a no brainer for us and they were exceptional!

We had a sit down dinner with choice entree for about 100 people with truly exceptional service! Highly recommend!!

We had such an amazing experience with Nidia and the entire Absolutely Delicious catering team! They were so flexible when we decided to change the entire menu about a month out. And it turned out even better than what we originally were planning, thanks to the guidance of Nidia! I can't count how many times people told me it was some of the best wedding food they ever had. Food is very important to me and my husband, so we put a lot of time into researching the best in SA. Absolutely Delicious is the best you can get, for the best price. Go for a tasting with them and see all the food presented so beautifully- you will not be disappointed! I highly recommend them!!

From the first time we sat down with Nidia for a tasting, we knew we were in good hands! Not only was the food incredible but Nidia was able to guide and advise us on the ins and outs of wedding reception meal options. A little over a month out, we had to completely change our menu due to space. My daughter was hesitant but Nidia reassured her and everything turned out beautifully! Many of the guests commented on how the food from Absolutely Delicious was the best food they had ever eaten at a catered event. The steak and chicken were so tender! Mr. Estorga was the day-of catering manager and he was very professional . He and his staff worked flawlessly and paid attention to all the details. We will definitely use Absolutely Delicious for any events in the future!

What can I say about Absolutely Delicious other and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! Nidia was a dream to work with. She and her team were amazing and the day of, my food was perfect. I could not have asked for better food or service. When we went for testing, the portion sizes we tried were exactly the same the day of my wedding. I went with a duet plate with au gratin potatoes and mixed veggies. I was able to pick which veggies I wanted which was great! I had a wonderful salad and since some of my guest have food allergies, they took into consideration their needs and addressed them accordingly. I had 3 hors d'oeuvres which included an artichoke on a thin crispy baguette, prosciutto and grapes drizzled with balsamic on a thin crispy baguette, and butternut squash shooter with a tiny grilled goat cheese sandwich on top. IT WAS AMAZING! They treated us so amazingly well. They brought us our own hors d'oeuvres since we weren't able to have any. You will not be disappointed if you go with them

Their name says it all, Absolutely Delicious comes from family and love--and you can see that in the quality of the food that they produce and the staff that they inquire. The work ethics of the internal staff comes from the passion behind the owner. Veronica, has instilled her vision, and her love for catering into each one of her key staff members, and her drive shines through all her employees. When searching for a caterer my biggest worry of having a sit-down dinner was eating a cold meal. They are one of two caterers in San Antonio that have multiple portable ovens; which allows them to never serve a cold plate. This was a huge relief to me as I have been to some weddings trying to muster up enough courage to chew the cold chicken. I had the pleasure of working with Gina when booking the details of my wedding, and she then placed me in the hands of Rene. The two of them made sure that every detail was accounted for when ensuring a stress-free wedding. As a bride make sure that you have every detail in writing. Sometimes the wedding day buzz can catch up to you, and small details may be left out. There were some things that I thought I had discussed during our walk thru, but on the day of my thoughts were overlooked. Regardless, my guests raved about the food and the service! From cocktail hour, all the way to breaking down the venue, everything was Absolutely Delicious!

ADC totally out did themselves for our son's rehearsal dinner! I had chosen to have food stations so no one would have to wait long for food and to provide a wide choice rather than the usual Texan fare. It worked and the compliments on the food continued to come in today almost a week later. There was nothing that was mediocre in what they served. And the service and attention to detail were also outstanding. Thank you to ADC for making that evening a memorable one for our guests.

Absolutely Delicious is exclusively used by my venue, so I really didn't have a choice in the matter, but they blew me away at the tasting! Everything was perfect, from the salad, to the entrée and sides. The appetizers were delicious too but we did not elect to have them. I recommend their food 100%, the presentation is beautiful and tastes amazing,

Words can explain how amazing the food was. My husband and I went for a very different approach and had a wedding at noon serving brunch. Everyone we talked to said to would be too hard to do Eggs Benedict but ADC came through. The best brunch I have ever had. Several guest will now introduce me as "the lady who had the awesome food at her wedding I was telling you about ." And my photographer said after people have seen our photos they are now wanting a brunch wedding. They truly made our vision possible.

Heather was such a joy to work with! She did both our engagement photos and wedding photos. We didn't come prepared with any specific photos that we wanted taken but Heather didn't hesitate to accept the challenge and capture some really awesome photos. She made great use of space and did some amazing things with light on what was a gloomy day... When we received our photos you would have never guessed it was a cloudy day. I would recommend Heather to anyone and book her again in the future!

All of our guests LOVED our food. We went to another wedding where ADC was the caterer and knew we wanted to consider them for our wedding. We had beef, green beans, and potatoes au gratin. The food was delicious and we received numerous compliments. We also got our rentals from ADC. The tables, linens, chairs, everything was beautiful! I did not give five stars because we had issues with bar. We paid for an open bar but they only served beer and wine. After this was found out, ADC fixed the situation but we only had liquor there about 1.5 hrs instead of 4hrs. We were refunded for that time without but I would have much preferred everything to go smoothly with the bar- it was our first request when selecting caterers. I am still not happy about there not being liquor there the whole time but the night was perfect otherwise and I am happy they apologized and covered their damages. One of the managers, Gina, is wonderful! She's very responsive to questions and very nice.

All of my guests kept telling me it was the best! Everything was displayed so beautifully as well. Thank you. I wanted the best for my once in a lifetime event, and I got it!

Absolutely Delicious was a HIT at our wedding. Many guests told me it was not only the best wedding food they've ever had, but the steak and shrimp were among the best they've ever had period! A few of our engaged friends have even asked for their information. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Absolutely Delicious catering helped ensure our wedding day was perfect!! We chose to serve the champagne chicken and poblano chicken. Both entrees tasted amazing! The staff at Absolutely Delicious were great. They ensured everything ran smoothly and were able to cater a seated meal without arranged seating, which made things incredibly easy. Being from 300+ miles away, we needed a caterer who would work with us from a distance. Absolutely Delicious did a great job of keeping us informed and in touch. We could not have chosen a better caterer!!

Absolutely Delicious definitely delivered on our wedding day! Our guests could not stop talking about how much they loved the food. Absolutely Delicious served our guests veggies in a shot glasses filled with ranch and chipotle dip as well as cute little cheese & grape skewers, and the presentation was absolutely adorable. For our main meal they served delicious chicken fajitas with all of the toppings and rice and beans. Our guests, along with my groom and I were very impressed. I had found my own flatware that I wanted to use for our food, and they were so accommodating to this special request. I definitely recommend Absolutely Delicious if you want professionalism and delicious food!

I truly can not say enough wonderful things about absolutely delicious. We had a unique vegetarian meal that was superb and all of my meat eating family and friends loved it! They made an already beautiful venue (Southwest School of Art) even more spectacular. The staff made me feel like a queen. They made it a magical night!

Absolutely Delicious did a wonderful job for our wedding. Not only did they coordinate with the florist, but they coordinated the whole event to leave the wedding party with less stress. Everyone loved the food at the wedding. The service was great throughout the night. We had been taking pictures during cocktail hour and the staff saved hor'dourves for us, they were very attentive. It was great to work with Nidia! Highly recommend!
