ad , she made come to life. She was flexible with my budget , and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable at all when it came to working numbers a little bit. The gentleman that delivered my flowers on my wedding day was so sweet , he even went out of his way to get the groomsmen’s boutonnieres to the church for me cause I guess my bride brain forgot to give that slight detail to them! bsolutely flowers was less expensive and more knowlegeable and reassuring. Ordering my bouquets was stress free with Tiphany and Janet and they were so helpful! The day before my weddinf i had a preview of the flowers and a shade in the bouquets wasnt exactly what I wanted. The staff were understanding and changed the bouquets perfectly. I will reccomend this florist one hundred times over. I LOVED my flowers!!

so I decided to take a trip over there. I was not disappointed. The moment I walked in and told them I was having a wedding in October they brought me over to a table so we could go over flowers and colors, and since I am no connoisseur of flowers they even pulled some from throughout their store to show me what each would look like. I wanted beautiful, vibrant colors with different types of flowers for the bouquets and the archway to be decorated with flowers for the ceremony. They were the most beautiful bouquets I have ever seen. Any one who needs flowers for any occasion should definitely go to Absolutely Flowers they were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and delivered everything on time if not early. So thankful I used them for the wedding. Absolutely perfect!

The process to get there though, was unfortunately stressful. I was planning the wedding outside of Middletown, and one of my biggest criticisms is that Janet and her staff are terrible at e-mail communication, despite having assured me that that would be fine. I asked for a list of seasonal flowers to look at first: not knowing flowers well, I didn’t really have a starting place. What Janet sent instead was a group of photos of past weddings, about half of which were too blurry to see the flowers clearly, and none of which had varieties labeled. When I asked for some clarification, my e-mails were ignored. I later found out that Janet was going through some health issues, which I totally understand, except that her staff never contacted me. I only found this out after a month and a half of silence. When I finally got into the store a few months later, I felt a bit pressured by Alan – I think all of this background led to him feeling tense and perhaps thinking that I was demanding and set on particular ideas, when in fact it was the opposite. I still had no idea what I wanted! Once we were on the same page, the meeting went well and we decided on bouquets, corsages, and table arrangements. Alan suggested a black-tipped rose corsage for my groom, which I thought super-creative, and very much in my husband’s personality. Finally, a few weeks before the wedding, I met with Janet to go over everything again. Making a meeting with her (via phone this time) was again a mess, and she was late to boot. When we finally got together, she dismissed several of Alan’s suggestions, and we ended up re-crafting a lot. The discussion leading up to consensus was hectic and often involved my mom or myself reminding her that we needed to actually see the flowers she was mentioning because we’re not florists who know these things already! Adding insult to injury, Janet also failed a number of times to actually get the receipt e-mailed to my mom – apparently she kept e-mailing it to herself. As I said, terrible with the technology that should be basic for her business. In all, the end result was completely beautiful, but even after the final meeting a week before the wedding, I was only about 50% sure I’d actually like the end product. Janet’s frantic manner and awful business skills gave me no faith in her abilities as a florist, though in the end she certainly deserved that faith.

married April 2012 and had changed my mind several times with what I wanted. He didnt flinch once. He let me talk, drew up pictures for me, gave me live examples, and even called a few times along the way to check on the decisions. I am so happy that everything turned out amazing. The woman that delievered the flowers even got a little emotional when she came to my house with everything that I needed..she said to make a bride happy is all they ask for and I was so grateful for everything they did for me that she teared up a little. Thank you for my vibrant beautiful fresh amazing flowers :)

I went to Absolutely Flowers, they asked what I wanted to spend on flowers for the bouquets and boutineers.I told them 400$ and she did-with ORCHIDS! She also gave me a great idea on centerpeices. She would have done it for me, but I didn't want to pay any more, so we ordered 70 stems of orchids at 2.50 a stem, and I made the centerpieces myself. When we had the flowers delivered to the hair salon, I was amazed at how beautiful the bouquets looked. Mine was stunning, and I expected the girls' to be nice but nothing showy. I was sooo wrong. Theirs were just as beautiful as mine! I told her I would recommend her to anyone- and I really will. She worked with my budget (and even threw in stephanotus she had left from another wedding-which is a very expensive flower) and made everything more wonderfully than I could have imagined!
