Stayed here for a work trip. The hotel was beautiful and room was clean. The only downfall is the way the drain was set up the water drained very slow and I wish the sink stopper lifted up higher so the water drained better. Outside of that no ...
complaints! I also enjoyed having a water refill hydration station on my floor!

o lucky to have been able to stay here and make such genuine connections with them. I looked forward to seeing them every other week (especially Shy - she is the best!!!). If you are debating between any of the hotels in Clayton, this is the one to pick!

My stay was centered around NYE and I made a reservation at the HighBar which is the hotel’s rooftop bar which is pretty exclusive and I’ve heard it’s hard to get a reservation at times so book ahead. The bar is very small group friendly, with ...
small tables, a fire pit, and a small bar. The bar and dining area is probably 1500 sq ft of space for entertainment and is low key, but it invites a cool intimate atmosphere. The server we had, Brandon, was phenomenal and most accommodating. The food was good and the drinks were also good. The bar ran out of some ingredients while we were there, but being NYE it was understandable. My spouse and I had our own special event we planned for this night and the bar and the hotel helped make that extra special and did some cool things for us. Overall, our experience here was positive and we would stay here again. The only real negative I found was if you don’t use valet parking the parking option is a public garage around the corner from the hotel, but it’s very close and the walk is not far at all. The garage was not very inviting, however it’s not maintained by the hotel so take that for what it is.

Being a global traveller, Marriot is a go to brand for me. However, the two AC properties I have used during this trip to the US, were not what I expected. This was supposed to be a new property, yet, it felt tired. Over used, and lacking brand...
quality. Breakfast seems to be something of a dilemma within this group. Not so great coffee, a buffet which has seen better days, of processed food and very little or anything fresh, then to top it off, it was $18, even with my $10 voucher, I gave it a miss.
Room amenities were very basic, not what I was expecting either, little choice and availability in the room tea/coffee making facilities made a trip to the supermarket necessary for my trip.
On a positive note, the fridge worked and came in useful to help buying fresh foods and drinks to start my day.

The Good: Staff was helpful and friendly, room was clean and quiet. Parking garage was right next door.

The bad: 4+ story Parking garage elevator only works monday- Friday. Hotel water pressure at sink, was very low, pressure, coupled with a very short faucet, made it difficult to wash hands well. 2 small drawers in the room was all the clothing storage space for folded clothes, not every accommodating for two adults for a 5 day hotel stay. While housekeeping came daily, they didn't replenish coffee bar items at all during our stay. We got a corner King room, which looked great in photos. Room had a window view of the brick wall parking garage next door.
