the hotel For simply meeting and decided to take our business meeting up to the room vs Sitting out in the open by the security guard. When leaving, I tried to leave my information to the front desk and The lady was very rude, and basically said it was my fault because I was profiled by the way in which I walked in in the time of night I walked in. As a titanium elite member who has traveled extensively over the past two years- specifically in this area - I will ensure myself and my company NEVER use this hotel. I will be curious to see if the manager calls me back to address.

ss the hallway, either. Maybe I’m not familiar enough with the AC Hotel brand but I was surprised by the minimalistic nature of the room. No closet and only two drawers. It was fine since I was a single occupancy but I wouldn’t bring my family here. My only other complaint was the pillows. Way too soft for my liking but I understand a hotel isn’t ever going to please 100% of their guest preferrences. I do want to highlight the staff on being very pleasant and professional. I didn’t meet a single staff member that wasn’t smiling and friendly. I appreciated that. Finally, I enjoyed the proximity to Cascade Park. I enjoyed walking it when there was downtime in the conference.

s blemishes here and there. Bed was comfy. I will say I had to follow up with staff several times versus them following up with me. In the end, my issue was resolved. I also asked for an additional duvet and got completely new sheets instead which sucked, but made due. I was also not a fan of the parking situation. Charging $50 per day for a pet is also a bit ridiculous. There should be one set feet. If there is a notable mess in the room then you should require a cleaning fee instead. Otherwise, the hotel was fine in my opinion.

the real stars were Reggie and Brittney at the front desk. Their smiles lit up the entire lobby! They immediately knew I was here for the FAMU graduation (they’re good! 😂) and made me feel like part of the celebration. Their energy, kindness, and professionalism truly set the tone for my whole stay. They even got me into my room early, and when I opened that door? Let me tell you! A private balcony, a beautiful glass-door refrigerator, spotless décor — I felt like I had just walked into a brand-new hotel. And honestly, the place still looks new even though it’s around four years old. Whoever is keeping this hotel in such pristine condition deserves major credit. I’m also on the floor with the gym (which means I may or may not work out — but hey, the access is there! 😄). And when I turned on the TV and saw my name pop up with a personal welcome? That was the cherry on top. It’s the small touches that make you feel right at home. This entire experience has been top-tier. Warm, modern, clean, and full of great energy. I felt valued from the minute I walked in. I am officially a Bonvoy member for life after this stay. Huge shout-out to Reggie and Brittney — give them all the recognition they deserve! If you’re considering where to stay in Tallahassee… come on in. You will not regret it!
