Located in the heart of Saint Louis, MO, The AC St. Louis Downtown originally opened as the Hotel Jefferson in 1904 and was considered one of the finest hotels in the Midwest. After many years of vacancy, the hotel is being restored to its original splendor. The hotel will offer all of the amenities and services travelers have come to expect in AC by Marriott, while still restoring the beauty of a bygone era.
The Gold Room features 6,900 square feet of space and will accommodate events of up to 400 people. Unique to the Gold Room is a second-story balcony that surrounds the entire floor space, ideal for a reception prior to dinner or as the focal point for toasts to the special couple. A signature piece of the Gold Room is a beautiful Swan sculpture that is suspended over the stage. The sculpture was added during the Roaring 20s as a symbol of style and elegance.
The Crystal Room is 3,000 square feet of space and will accommodate up to 120 people for a sit-down dinner. The Crystal Room may also be used as a reception room for larger weddings housed in the Gold Room.
