Luis at ACA Entertainment responded promptly to my multiple emails answering my questions & was able to get me in touch with Paul prior to our wedding day so that I could speak with him to touch base regarding our ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, & dance. Talking with Paul really helped to reassure me regarding our music. When it came time for our wedding day – Paul absolutely killed it – he nailed our vibe during each of the different parts throughout the day. Our guests repeatedly told us that the music selection was amazing & that Paul’s transitions between the songs were seamless, helping to continue that vibe. Everyone had a great time & we only wish the night could have gone on longer! We would highly recommend Paul & ACA Entertainment to anyone looking to book a DJ.

ormed our first dance songs perfectly. My guests raved about how awesome the band was and they brought everyone out on the dance floor with the wide selection of music they played. They even played an encore as the venue was shutting down. We also payed for the entertainment bundle upgrade which was worth every penny (emcee services, DJ during set breaks, jazz trio during dinner). The band's management, Matt and Luis were very accommodating throughout the wedding planning and postponement process, responsive to my endless emails and phone calls and eased all of my concerns in lieu of the ongoing pandemic. If you're looking for a wedding band, we would highly recommend Platinum! Thank you for helping make our wedding day so special!

A week before the wedding we had a call with Matt who was very professional and helped us with any questions we had. The band was so amazing! They play all different genres and they sounded so real to the song they played. I keep getting compliments to this day about the band! Definitely check out Platinum! Worth every penny!!

Our requests to have certain songs played were also met with a lot of resistance and they said the band could not learn any of the songs we requested for our first dance, parent/child dances, etc. The band and DJ also took an extended break during our reception after we asked them to play one specific song from someone else's playlist since the DJ did not have it. We were also disappointed that they ended the night with a different song than we asked for, even though it was a popular song. I guess our expectations were a bit too high, or maybe we should have invested a lot more money in a better band/DJ. Either way, the interactions were not optimal.

ade me feel like his sole purpose the day of the wedding was taking care of things for us and making sure we were relaxed. It was the same way the day of our wedding. He called me a few days before to run through all of the information that we gave him and confirm any final questions (and relax me a bit!), and then he checked in with us before the reception as well to put our minds at ease and let us know how the night would go. He was so helpful, kind, and professional throughout our whole wedding. I trusted him completely to do his job and he made sure not only that we were happy, but that all of our guests had a great time. I would HIGHLY recommend him! We also booked our photo booth through ACA, and our guests had a great time with that as well. There was a green screen backdrop and tons of props, and now we have a photo book of memories from the best night of our lives. Thank you Al, Dann, and everyone else at ACA!

musical talent. They learned our first dance song and played it to perfection! We received compliments all night long on the band. We did not have to worry about a thing. They provided a complete setup in a tricky space-the Milwaukee Public Museum- and they worked to make sure that our reception entertainment went smoothly. And it did. We are truly grateful for the musicians, singers, our MC Matt, and Nancy, who recommended the North Coast Orchestra to us. They were perfect for our reception, our musical tastes, and our style.

s task that might make me go crazy, but they send you a survey and it allows them to learn a bit about the reception and you can tell them what special dances you would like and exactly how you want things to go. It was so much easier for me to put together a "Do Not Play" list than a complete list of all of the songs I wanted. They offer you a place to tell them the first dance, father-daughter dance, and mother-son dance. Then a week or two before the big day, your DJ calls you to go over some last minute details such as uplighting for the head table and if you have any last requests of them. The day of the wedding everything ran super smoothly. I was worried about them disrupting things because my ceremony and reception were in the same place, but I didn't even notice them setting up. Tim is wonderful, and does an excellent job at reading the crowd and changing things up to keep the dance floor full! I had a great time and my guests did too! If you go with ACA Music and Entertainment, I would highly recommend DJ Tim!! He's the best!!

Preparing for the reception was stress free- I just filled out a questionnaire and talked to Tim on the phone the week before the wedding, and everything went perfect. I would HIGHLY recommend.

They were able to adjust the timing of our first dance based on choreography and were flexible when we asked them to be. The jazz that they played during dinner was beautiful. All in all, I'd recommend them to everyone!

They played all the right songs at all the right times and kept the dance floor filled with people. They are hard to book because their schedule fills up quickly, so get them while you can!

m ever play or hear many examples from them, we were very worried how it would end up, but they pulled through and did great! They worked with the Dj (JoJo&Gizep) that we also hired and they coordinated everything. Great bad, the only thing bad I can say about them is the lack of communication we had with them!! But all good other then that!! We had a very fancy wedding too and they dressed appropriately and were very respectful in every way!!!!

ay list on their site had a lot of good fun danceable songs) Their site said they knew 3 polkas, but then I was told the week of that they were working on a new set and they didn't all know the polkas, but I could download them and they would play them from my ipod, which they did and the floor was packed. The songs they did play were good, however not really for a wedding, hardly anyone danced and they only played 2 slow songs, one of which needed to be requested by my dad to get people out on the floor. The floor was then jam packed, I would have assumed they would have picked up on that and played a few more slow songs throughout the 4 hours. They said they took requests, however, the one song (besides a slow song from my dad) that was requested they said they would try and work in- they didn't so we downloaded it at the end of the night and they did let us play it from my ipod while they packed up. I am not saying they weren't good- They were VERY GOOD, just maybe for a party, not a wedding.

hey had the best value for their services. After speaking with the owner, I found out that the person I previously was hoping to book, was just booked a few hours previously. She did an amazing job and informing me about another DJ the company had, Dave. I ended up having the opportunity to meet with Dave and go over my likes and my expectations. He gave me his personal email and phone number and was great and returning any and ALL of my messages. ACA ended up giving me a phenomenal deal to book with them and Dave threw in free up lighting as well. The colors that he chose, matched my wedding colors flawlessly and really made the room POP even more than it did before. On the big day, I had Dave and his wife DJ-ing. His choice of music, along with my many song suggestions, kept the dance floor packed all night. I had numerous wedding guests come up to me, my husband, and both sets of our parents and tell us how GREAT the DJ was. He kept people up and dancing until the lights came on. Dave was very aware of our guests and made sure to play appropriate music for the crowd. He even broke up all the wedding party dances to make sure the guests weren't bored and so that there was always a great variety of music happening. I have a difficult first name to say at first, but Dave ensured that he knew how to pronounce my name and my new last name and made sure that he mentioned and referred to us throughout the night. Dave has a great personality and a great set up. All of his lights, music, and complete sound system kept the party going all night. We are very satisfied costumers and have been referring Dave to many of our newly engaged friends!!

and my mother and I agreed he would be the DJ at my wedding before I even met my husband. That is how amazing he is. He was booked before we had our venue/date (as it kept changing). He was completely flexible and patient with us. He gets right back to you with any questions and can get people who don't usually dance out on the dance floor. My favorite part was that he taught my whole wedding how to do the Wiggle. Aside from this he also performs by singing/dancing! I can't say enough about how amazing this man is! If you are going to splurge on anything for your wedding it should be this DJ!

I tried emailing my DJ but kept getting responses from Nancy, who must be the owner or something. She was really annoying and wouldn't answer any of my questions. Other annoyance was getting ahold of my DJ prior to the wedding- they only plan on calling 3-5 days before your event to finalize everything, which was awful. When you're getting married in less than a week, the last thing you want to be stressing on is when/if your DJ is coming, and all the details with the music. Other than that those issues with the company itself, I'd definitely recommend Brian Redd.

The most important thing: the dance floor was packed all night. There wasn't one song played where people weren't out dancing. He did an amazing job. I haven't been to a wedding myself where people were out dancing nonstop and enjoying themselves.
