Hello! I’m Andrew, owner and lead planner of A.Carey Events, a wedding planning company in the Triangle of North Carolina. As a 15-year events industry veteran and former Washingtonian, I’ve valued being a part of weddings throughout the country, especially along the East Coast. Moving back home to North Carolina has always been a dream, and I love that I’m in the Raleigh-Durham area where my family can grow and thrive. My company's name is an homage to my grandfather and my daughter, where we all share "Carey" in our name. As a company, A.Carey events values are collaboration, inclusion, honesty, personalization, and service.
I started in the industry planning events in college. Once in DC, I worked for a leading floral and décor company, delivering over 500+ weddings. I enjoy partnering with couples and helping to execute their vision, and I still tear up every time I send a couple down the aisle. It’s an honor to be trusted with such a momentous occasion, surrounded by so many people who are full of joy and love!
When I'm not working, I love to spend time with my family, baking, going to the beach, running and cycling, and traveling! Please reach out and let's chat about your wedding dreams!

ge and an eye for weddings and he takes care of things without even having to be asked. His advice and opinion was invaluable to us.
I was a bride who thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of wedding planning and as someone who loves the details, Andrew matched my energy and carried out my vision for the day perfectly. The things I cared about, he cared about. When we weren't sure how to handle certain aspects of the day, he came full of suggestions and ideas. He was never pushy and was a gracious reminder that it was OUR day and OUR decision. He was the perfect balance of getting things done and allowing us to enjoy the moments.
Our day flowed perfectly and I never had to think about where to go or what to do next because Andrew had it all covered. Not once did a vendor or guest have to come up and ask me a question because Andrew handled it all . We got to be fully PRESENT and ENJOY our wedding day which truly is the best gift.
