Hello! My name is Terri Sweeney. I am the owner and operator of Accessible Activities of Florida. I have been a licensed rehabilitation therapist since 2000 and opened this business in 2018. I began my business journey backed by the need for specialized care and companionship for a woman who wanted to attend a wedding 1/2 way across the country, but was disabled. Sadly, because of a progressive ailment, this would be the one and only time she would get to see her grand daughter get married. I was hired because of my skill set as a therapist but more important, I was able to put and client and the family at ease because of my flexibility. We all attended the wedding and had the best time ever with her family while celebrating this fantastic milestone.
Following this event, I decided this would be a great business idea. This wonderful experience set in motion what now has become Accessible Activities of Florida.
Our business is focused on providing the highest quality companionship so everyone can enjoy their time together worry-free.
Wedding companionships can be arranged locally in Florida from Tampa to Orlando or accompany your loved one across the country. We help to coordinate all the logistics as part of each package.
Every wedding has unique needs so A LA Carte pricing is also provided.
