ACE did a wonderful job with the lighting and drapes for our wedding, and we got so many compliments from our guests. I'm a video producer, and more than any other element of the decor, I believe that good lighting is key to creating a warm, inviting ambiance. So, after we decided on our venue, ACE was one of the first vendors we contacted. We'd never planned a wedding before, so we weren't exactly sure what we would need, nor how much it would cost, but Yoni and Ewa immediately put us at ease. Right away, Yoni met us to do a walkthrough of the venue, and they were able to execute exactly what we wanted, and also made some very helpful suggestions while staying right within our budget. It was all very affordable, and they provided excellent service from our initial call, to answering all of our many questions along the way, and very efficiently setting up and tearing down on the day of the event. For our ceremony backdrop, I asked them to hang a 10' wide macrame curtain, but it was so big, I had to keep it in a box for several months until I passed it off to the team at ACE a couple of weeks before the event. Luckily, Ewa did some research to make sure the macrame wouldn't get too wrinkled/tangled before they suspended it. When I finally got to see everything put together at the ceremony/reception, it was even more beautiful than I'd imagined. I'm still waiting on our photos from the photographer, but once I get them, I'll need to post them here to demonstrate what a lovely job they did.

I found ACE Chicago Events through a standard Google search, and when I reached out they were responsive immediately. Both Ewa and Yoni took the time to meet me at my venue for a walk-through and estimate, and patiently answered all of my questions and talked through the whole event so they had a really good idea of what we envisioned. When we changed to a larger venue just three and a half weeks before the event, Ewa and Yoni didn't skip a beat; they met us at the new venue and did another walk-through, and revised the whole plan on the spot, which was considerably more involved than the first one. Both of them were excellent communicators, and shared helpful suggestions while also making us feel like we were always in control of our vision. This is a difficult line to walk, and the result ended up being amazing. Yoni arrived the day before the event and set up, which minimized day-of commotion. Yoni and his team were the epitome of professional: respectful, efficient, and highly skilled at what they did. They also all had cool-and-collected attitudes throughout the entire process, and the "I got this, no problem" energy behind the scenes was invaluable. It really helped set the tone of a well-executed event run by competent, organized people. When we had a projection project (designed by an artist of ours) not work out as planned at the top of our runway, Yoni improvised with a lighting effect and it ended up being way better than our original idea. The lighting throughout the entire venue was gorgeous and transformed a blank canvas into exactly the vibe we were going for: elegant, beautiful, interesting and welcoming. The A/V was also flawless. Having never produced an event of this caliber before, I was unaware of the A/V needs to make sure that people at the event can actually hear whoever is speaking on the microphone, for example. I've been to so many events where the person speaking is barely audible. Our speakers were crystal clear and Yoni did an excellent job interfacing with our DJ. He was also meticulous - and fast! - when it came to running, hiding and securing what seemed like miles of wires, so that we didn't even know they were there. From small details like the red carpet and stanchions to sound throughout the entire space, it was all handled smoothly and professionally. Ewa was communicative and excellent at sending over several updated proposals as the planning progressed, and they are simply an excellent team. I could not be happier with ACE Chicago Events, they elevated and polished our first event and executed our vision to perfection: what was just an idea at the beginning of January became an approximately 500-person event in the middle of May that definitely had the "WOW!!!" factor. Not only are Ewa and Yoni extremely good at what they do and worth every penny, they are great people. For the quality we received and the peace of mind knowing that people we trust were taking care of all the technical details, it was absolutely one of the best decisions we made to hire them as our production company. I would highly recommend ACE Chicago Events for any event you are organizing, and I have already booked them for our next one in the fall!

We had a great experience with ACE Chicago Events! They provided beautiful twinkly lights for our wedding reception. We only decided a month or two before our wedding that we had room in our budget for lighting, so we were so grateful that they were willing to roll with that relatively last-minute timing! The folks at ACE were totally communicative, professional, friendly, and accommodating. When I inquired about our options with them, they generously offered to arrange for a technician to speak with our venue manager at our reception venue, and they did so and reported back with answers so quickly! Not only that, but they worked with us to generously fit a lighting plan within our limited budget. So many companies won't even let you keep things simple, requiring meeting a high minimum cost and investing in bells and whistles that you may or may not have any desire for. But ACE was totally fine with us having simple and specific needs and a budget! On the day of our wedding, their team did a beautiful job setting everything up; the lighting created a magical atmosphere for the whole reception!
