Ace Cuervo

My friend's wedding was at the most expensive venue in Tulsa and she hired Ace (expecting the best). When Ace arrived at the venue during "getting ready" time, he was disheveled and seemed to be in a rush - an attitude which didn't leave till he started drinking at the reception. He was pushy with his directions when staging a photo. The bride's hair was messed up during one set of photos and he never bothered to adjust it (spoiler alert, all of those photos were unusable, until I fixed her hair despite Ace telling me to back out of his shot). He took ONE group photo of the bridal party (and it was a wide lens - absolutely terrible). The photos of the bridal party walking up and down the aisle were a joke. He drank during the reception. He even took a photo of himself drinking at the reception. A lot. He was sweaty and seemed like he drank an energy drink. All of the photos turned out awful. The bride called me when they were uploaded bawling about it. Despite Ace's "reputation" in Tulsa for being "worth it," I would argue that I could've (and should've had I known how terrible his photos were) taken better photos on my iPhone. Don't waste your money. Don't risk losing the opportunity to memorialize your wedding day by placing your trust in this guy.

I don't know what I would have done without this man. He did our engagement and wedding photos and every picture he took was just amazing. I never once thought he didn't know what he was doing and never got that feeling that something was left out or that you had to tell him what to do. He is just amazing. Engagement photos - he knows how to calm you down so that you don't feel nervous and feel free to ask him as many questions as you wish about wardrobe because I had no clue what to wear. He could tell that I had my teeth fixed inbetween the engagement photos and the wedding because he studies his subjects. Wedding - He was there with me from beginning to end of the night. He was there for me when my wedding planner wasn't. 75% of the time she was nowhere to be seen. The room was so hot that he reapplied my makeup so there wouldn't be shine in the shots. He will be your fairy godmother for the best night of your life. Have no doubts what so ever if you hire this man.

Ace and his team are wonderful to work with and take amazing photos. All of my friends have used him in their weddings, and we have all been so happy with the results. He's definitly the best choice!!
