Hi! My name is Ace. With over a decade of professional dancing and teaching experience, I specialize in creating beautiful, inclusive wedding dances for couples in Austin, Texas. While I was born and raised in Austin, my teaching journey has taken me all over the world, including Seoul, South Korea; Quebec, Canada; and all over the U.S.
I love giving couples the tools and confidence to have an amazing first dance. The best part? The skills we learn together will stay with you long after your wedding day.
Each lesson is tailored to your song and dance goals. By the end of our classes, you'll have a routine that feels great and the confidence to execute it. We'll plan how to start and end your first dance, plus add fun moves to fill out the middle.
I'm happy to go over your song choices with you to explore style options. Whatever you pick, I'll help you plan a memorable and FUN routine that will wow your loved ones. While single lessons are available a la carte, I recommend as many lessons as you can squeeze in before your big day! Most folks choose Slow Dancing for their first dance (I promise it's a lot more interesting than the Middle School Sway), but I also offer classes in over 15 different dance styles, including Latin, Country, Swing, and Ballroom.
You’ll feel comfortable learning in my relaxed, private studio space in central Austin, conveniently located near 51st St, Airport Blvd, Hwy 290, and I-35.
After each lesson, I want you to feel empowered to practice at home. That’s why I always provide a full outline of what we covered. If you’re a visual learner, I’m happy to record the moves we learn in class so you can reference them at home.
My goal is to make dancing fun, easy, and approachable. Students have told me that I have a super-power of making even the most nervous students feel at ease and excited to learn.
