dresses are not for me at all; however, I couldn’t get a black wedding dress either (long story), but I knew at the very least I wanted a celestial themed dress. I spent months searching for fabrics to narrow down my ideas and choices before I met Ashley, and even then, I still had no idea what I wanted. I reached out to Ashley and her team, sent her the photos, told her the silhouette I was considering, and honestly, I walked in like a chaotic indecisive maniac. Ashley was so patient throughout the consultation, and I knew that after my first phone call with her that I wanted her to design my dress. She gave me some bits of advice to help me narrow down my choices further and it helped clear up a lot of discrepancies I had. The fabric choice I made was interesting to say the least, I chose a gradient fabric, but the pattern made things a bit tricky especially when it came to the technical drawing. But Ashley and her team truly made it work and got the drawing down to a T. Once I saw the rendering, I gave the greenlight and patiently waited for the dress to come to life. To be very honest, this process was extremely difficult for me because I usually consult with my husband about just about everything. Designing this dress alone was difficult, but with Ashley’s professionalism and confidence, it helped make things go so much more smoothly. I was so nervous about how the dress would come out, not because I was doubting her team’s skills in any way, I just knew that the fabric choice I made was a bit complicated and I personally had a very hard time visualizing the dress even with the drawing. But I knew that Ashley and her team would absolutely nail the dress so that kept me at ease. The big day came when I went in for my first fitting, when I saw it, I was speechless! I’m not very great at expressing myself, but I was VERY excited and overjoyed when I got to wear the dress for the first time. The dress came out SO much better than I ever could have anticipated, and it put me at ease knowing how it finally looked in person. Ashley truly can make your ideas come to life in the most beautiful and elegant way possible. Honestly, I’d love to have her make any and all of my dresses in the future. I never had a dream wedding dress; however, this dress was a dream. My husband said it was so much more beautiful than anything he ever could’ve imagined. He described it as ethereal, and honestly, I felt like a celestial goddess. I was worried I wouldn’t look good in my own dress (and your wedding dress is all about making you feel like a queen), but the moment I looked at myself in the mirror, I felt so beautiful and confident! And I never told Ashley this, but my dress has some hidden meanings to it. The way she and her team created the dress truly tied it all together so much better than I ever could’ve imagined or explained. The hard work love, and efforts that were put in my dress did not go in vain, I can’t thank them enough. I wish I could do more to express my gratitude to Ashley and her team. I found A.Cherie on Instagram. Ashley's work is 2nd to none. She is a master of her craft. Her entire team are by far the best at what they do. The amount of detail they put into designing and creating dresses is impeccable! To say they are talented doesn't nearly give them the credit they deserve. Even though Ashley encouraged me to try on different styles of dresses to find what I felt the most comfortable in, I never did. I was so confident in her abilities I knew I didn't need to try a single dress on. And, I won't ever regret my decision because from our very 1st conversation, she just got my vision. She understood me completely and you can't find that type of support from just anyone. It was as though she could see my thoughts. You won't find a better group than this one! I thoroughly enjoyed my fittings with her, she is so fun & bubbly. I love how passionate Karen is about her work. At my final fitting I was absolutely stunned, my dress hugged my body perfectly and Karen gave me a shape! I don't how she does it so seamlessly. I also brought in my children to have their JR Bridesmaid dresses' hemmed and they were ecstatic! they loved the attention they received and felt like princesses during their fitting. I first contacted Ashley about a year n half in advance to my wedding date after I saw an Instagram posting about a custom dress. At this point in the wedding planning I had already tried on a couple dresses & nothing seemed right. Every dress was lacking something & none of them felt like me. I decided to give her a call & ask some questions, get clarification, told her my reservations, & she gave me some advice too! Like, try on some dress styles & see what I like & what was flattering (this really helps in the designing process). After our first Conversation I went ahead and scheduled another two wedding dress appointments at different boutiques to see if I could find anything I liked off the rack or for some more dress inspo. Again, nothing was doing it for me. Sooooo, I called Ashley back to setup a consultation. We met, Ashley did her magic & drew up a beautiful mock of a couple of dresses I liked all together. I was scared, but in love. After some real thoughtful consideration, self talks about trusting the process & a couple Hail Marys I told Ashley I was in. This was honestly one of the best decisions I made in regard to my wedding. Ashley was super communicative during the process (& even after), was always available when I was stressing out about how my dress was gonna look & just wanted some reassurance (especially during 2020), & was very thorough when it came to the logistics of my dress. Come the day you get your big reveal you're not gonna know how to act. I screamed, haha. Two days before my wedding my photographer recommended these wonderful ladies and they rushed my dress and even helped me put some finishing touches on my sleeves and bust. The bustle was more beautiful that I could have imagined! Beautifully amazing work! ♥️

I decided to bring my dress for bridal alterations to them. THEY ARE TRULY EXPERTS AND THE BEST IN THEIR FIELD! After taking my dress to another shop, I just did not feel comfortable with the other shop altering my dress. Ashley and her alteration specialist she had at the fitting knew exactly what to do and make me look like a million bucks! My dress needed extensive and quite complicated alterations that other shops even turned me down and said it would never be ready time; enter Ashley and Karen and the rest of the A.Cherie crew. Having my alterations done with A.Cherie was one of the best decisions! If I could go back in time, I would of chose them to create a custom dress for me instead because by the time you pay for the dress off the rack and then alterations on top of it, You could of had a custom dress for the same price and something even more unique and beautiful! If you are a bride to be, I suggest you look into getting a quote on a custom design before buying off the rack like I did. I am VERY happy that the dress fits me like a glove now and they were able to make the changes I asked for, But a part of me wishes I may still have gone custom to see what they could create because everything I have seen from them has been jaw dropping. on't be until next year. Even during all this Covid mess, Ashley was on schedule which is amazing in general but especially during a worldwide pandemic. I had tried on a bunch of dresses and I have always known that I wanted my dress custom made especially because I wanted a blue wedding dress. Those just don't exist in the wild. I had originally found a company called Anomolie that makes custom dresses but I quickly discovered their color index was not very large. The blue fabric they sent me was the only shade of blue they had and it looked like white that was sorta blue in the light. No thank you. After searching Google again, I found Ashley. Thank. You. Lord. First off, she lives in Texas and her and her wonderful team of badasses makes everything right here in the good ole US of A. Anomolie makes all their dresses in China. Just in case you needed another reason to support this wonderful woman. So, found Ashley, got to talk directly with Ashley and tell her everything I dreamed of, what I like in the dresses I tried on, what I hated, etc. She sent me photos of fabrics, we worked together sourcing my lace, she found me the PERFECT shade of blue that's LEGIT BLUE, and she sends you a custom drawing you get to keep and stare at endlessly until your dress shows up! The whole process is fun and rewarding, Ashley is very communicative and detail oriented. I could go on and on. She also custom made a cape veil for me that I want to wear every day for the rest of my life. The price of having a absolutely stunning, gigantic princess dress and cape veil made all for less than I would've spent in a bridal shop. No one else on this planet will ever have my dress. It is purely mine and I cannot thank Ashley enough for that. Even if you're not a weirdo bride like me who has to break convention, making your dress with Ashley will be 100% worth it. You only get to wear your wedding dress once (unless you're bored and want to play dress up) so getting the opportunity to design it and feel as though it is truly your's is something that adds to the beauty of your wedding day. I would give her more stars if possible.

Partly because I was still losing some weight after the birth of my son, and also because I just didn't love any of the dresses. I remember thinking, well I guess I'll just love my headpiece and not worry about the dress. How sad. Luckily I came across Ashley's design on Pinterest and contacted her. My dress was everything I wanted and more. She was easy to work with and the communication was great the whole process.

I wasn’t finding what I wanted and when I found one that was close to what I wanted, it was going to cost double to make custom alterations. She walked me through every step of the process despite being across the country. We exchanged phone calls, emails, pictures, samples, and videos to ensure that it was exactly the way I wanted. I had a local seamstress take my measurements and was pleasantly surprised to see how well the mock dress fit me when it came in. It is a long process and took over a year due to her long list of clients, but it was worth the wait. I had some minor alterations to the straps after receiving the dress, which was a last minute decision. My seamstress could not believe how well made the dress was. She even took Ashley's card to refer clients for custom gowns. I received so many compliments and most importantly, it was everything I dreamed it would be and more. Thank you A. Cherie!

d a red and lace wedding dress, I am not a traditional type person. The dress I bought felt so generic and it was the typical all white dress. I had felt like I just had to pick something because I had always believed that custom dresses cost thousands upon thousands of dollars. Thankfully that nagging feeling of dread I felt every time I looked at my dress drove me to do extensive research. I came across A. Cherie and heard nothing but great things about it. I live 5 hours from the shop but when I saw the creations and prices that they were offering it was well worth the drive. I have never been so happy with a decision I have made. From start to finish Ashley (the owner) was the nicest, easiest person to work with. She worked around my schedule each time I needed to drive down for a scheduled appointment. She made sure we did as much as possible each time I was there so I didn't have to drive back a million times. At the first appointment she drew the sketch of my dress and it was amazing to see my vision on paper. It was exactly what I had had in mind. By the last appointment I had done everything from hand selecting my fabrics (colors and material) all the way to picking how low and fitted I wanted every aspect of my dress. The final product was a masterpiece! It was everything I've ever wanted. My guests were in awe on my wedding day and I felt absolutely stunning! My dress was my favorite part of my entire wedding, it was like the cherry on top of the perfect cake, it was the perfecting touch. My dress is something I would have never been able to find on a rack. I didn't run the risk of running into another bride with the exact same dress as myself. I felt like I was wearing a creation straight off the New York runway without the New York price. If you are wanting the full bridal experience and you want to feel like a queen on your wedding day then let Ashley handle it. You will not regret it!

They created a pencil sketch of the dress and than mail you swatches of the dress materials to make sure you like the material that your custom dress will be made from. She sent fabric samples and dress drawings before she began to create it, and she did everything in a timely manner. When I took my dress to my seamstress in CA to add a bustle, she was amazed at how perfectly the dress fit me! On my wedding day I got an endless amount of compliments on my dress! Definitely recommend!!
