Matthew was fabulous to work with! He was extremely thorough with the planning and executed a flawless event. Our guests had so much fun and we truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Matthew was an absolute professional and made our wedding an amazing event!

Matthew was AWESOME. The music was great and Matthew worked with me before the wedding to ensure that he had everything needed to ensure the reception was just how I wanted it. I would DEFINITELY recommend him as a DJ for your event.

I cannot say enough good things about Matthew and Acme DJs! He was the absolute BEST DJ! From the moment I first contacted him inquiring about pricing and services, he was so responsive. I never had to wait a long time to hear back from him, he was extremely easy to work with and so incredibly nice! At our first meeting, I knew he was the DJ I wanted for my wedding! He helped plan out the timeline for my big day and helped bring my vision to life by suggesting the perfect song selections when I was stuck. I told him I wanted my wedding to be a big dance party after dinner and the toasts and all that and he delivered! Everyone ended up on the dance floor at some point. It was a huge dance party, I danced all night long. Even my grandparents ended up on the dance floor! I really cannot say enough good things. Matthew delivered on everything I wanted and made my special day beyond perfect. It was everything I dreamed of and more. Thank you, Matthew!!

Matt Izzo DJ'd our wedding. We were happy to hire him as he was recommended to us and we needed someone who would make sure the night ran smoothly, which he assured us he would do. We met with him once and signed his contract (which felt a little pushy) and again about 5 weeks before the wedding to go over logistics of the night and song selections. He was a great help when scheduling our reception and figuring out a timeline. I was confident he would do exactly what we wanted. However, he called me the night of our rehearsal explaining that things had snuck up on him and he realized our wedding was the next day! I was worried but tried not to be concerned with it since we had met twice prior. At the reception, there was a threat of a storm so he moved the dance floor to a small covered patio. As we were taking photos, he approached us and told us his equipment would get ruined, so as the bride I said do whatever is best and hoped someone else would make the call (found out later my dad was the one he talked to later, not the people I had appointed as go-tos). I was bummed because we had spent so much time and energy on the outdoor tent and it was not used to it's full capacity. The storm ended up going around us and we were totally dry. I had also sent him a detailed list of song requests from our guest (it was a write-in option on our RSVP). We didn't hear those songs and he also played different music than we asked for during the free dancing. Lastly, since plans changed and the party moved more indoors, he had to yell to tell people what was happening. Some people told me he seemed pushy and others couldn't hear. It would have been nice if he had a portable speaker for those situations. Overall, everyone had a great time although my family, husband, and I know that he didn't do what we asked for. I'd say 3 stars for working with my husband and I and 4 stars for keeping the party going. Knot doesn't allow 1/2 stars.

Acme DJ's, Matt, was absolutely AMAZINGGG!!!! My husband and I got married in the middle of Hurricane Matthew, but you would have never known there was a hurricane going on outside with the amazing party that was going on inside. We got so many compliments on how wonderful Matt was and we couldn't agree more. Thank you Acme DJ's for making our wedding "the best wedding" some of our guests have ever been to. We will recommend you to EVERYONE!!

I decided to use this DJ after my sister-in-law used him in her wedding back in 2010 plus he offered a discount for working at the shipyard. He was awesome!! He did a fantastic job even when we had discussed where he was going to set up, we had run into problems at the reception hall and he changed where he would set up in the building so that it all would work. He was also easy to contact and work with in person/email/or phone. I would totally reccommend!!

DJ showed up promptly, was dressed very nicely, and was a good sport about working around the weather situation and our outdoor venue. He did, however, mess up our name when introducing us.

Matt worked with us to find a happy medium in what we each wanted and found the songs he didn't have in his catalog. The rate was reasonable and he made sure to play music to get people on the floor. Most importantly, he kept everything on schedule.

Did not go with this DJ but had awesome packages

Roy Shaw was the DJ for our event and he did a fantastic job! Price was affordable compared to other DJ services. Very good at communicating with me, even though I was a procrastinator when it came to giving him info! He had everyone out on the floor dancing and got the groomsmen up to do a surprise dance to get the party started! Had a great time with him and definitely recommend him!

This DJ is so much fun!!! The packaging prices are a little weird but are totally worth it. Everyone was dancing & he played all the music I was looking for.
