Acme Fresh Market Catering

Acme delivered a beautiful wedding cake for our June wedding. We did sheet cakes for the guests, and it was all gone by the end of the night! The cakes received many compliments, and they were very inexpensive and easy to work with.

Had an initial in person consultation on April 4 for my wedding reception. Communication was prompt and professional. Was told 2weeks to get quote back. 3weeks went by and didn’t hear anything.. had to follow up and Was told I’d have it the following week, another 2 weeks went by and nothing. I called..no response, sent email, no response. I let another week go by and called again and was told I’d have it by the end of the month (May). Still have not received my quote, very unprofessional and disappointed. Heard acme was great for wedding catering and was looking forward to having full service in addition with the cake.. could of just been my sales person..but after the whole quote fiasco I can’t trust them to cater the wedding.

We choose Acme for our cake and all I can say is WOW! First of all you get to pick up a cake tasting to do at home, it included at least 6-8 different types of cakes and fillings as well as two large containers of frosting. The team was so easy to work with and made sure they had every detail needed to perfectly make our cake. It was also delivered to the venue day of and looked better then we could've imagined! And did I mention it was DELICIOUS! Would definitely get cakes from here again.

I used ACME for our wedding cake and it was STUNNING. Exactly like the inspiration photo, and trust me... it was even more delicious than it looked! I had asked for a chic all white cake with fondant flowers and they were extremely professional! I had many guests ask where I got the cake from!!

The cake was awesome! Turned out absolutely beautiful and everyone raved about how delicious it was! Would recommend them without a doubt!!

Acme was one of our preferred caterers, and they felt like a no-brainer to hire. Alisa was so wonderful to work with. She responded so promptly and was incredibly helpful. All of our questions were answered and she made suggestions based on our preferences to help us out well. She also helped us cater for our lunches we had at the hotel before our wedding ceremony. The food was excellent. The staff were so great. They were kind and professional. The presentation of all the food was classy, and we really appreciate that! The full service ability of Acme's catering was great to work with. Our linens were beautiful and set up nice and early for us!

Alisa with the catering department is so great to work with. Very budget friendly meals and options. Ashley with the bakery was also great to work with. We were able to pick up and sampler box and try different combinations at home of cake, fillers, and icing and figure out what we wanted. From there, we completed their email form and I sent a photo of what I wanted for the cake design. I was told that it would need to be a little different due to my icing choice and was given designs to go off of. I chose two aspects of two different designs that I liked and told Ashley what I wanted from there. I wasn’t entirely sure of how the cake would look before our reception, but it turned out so much better than I could’ve expected! It was a beautiful cake and VERY affordable compared to other places I had checked out. It was also very convenient to work with Acme for both the catering and cake.

Acme made my wedding cake and I was so glad I chose them! I wasnt sure how acme would be with wedding cakes but I gave it a shot and I was so happy I did. My cake was not only beautiful and outstanding, but tasted absolutely incredible. I had fondant and edible embellishments. It was perfect!

Our wedding cake was spectacular! Acme really out-did themselves for our NYE wedding. They made our vision come to life and exceeded our expectations. The almond and chocolate flavors (plus buttercream frosting) were to die for! They were awesome to work with and delivered the cake to our venue right on time. We received so many compliments on our cake. I will only order cake from here from now on. We would recommend Acme a million times over.

Our 4 tier wedding cake was beautiful! We got so many compliments on the presentation of the cake but also how good the cake tasted! Ashley was so easy to work with and she set up a cake tasting for us and we were so pleased with all the cake flavors and icing combinations that we were able to choose from! We ended up having a different cake flavor and icing for each of the 4 tiers so our guests had a lot of different options. The price was so reasonable as well! We couldn’t be happier that we chose Acme to make our wedding cake! Highly recommend!

The cake was amazing! We received many compliments on the cake. My husband doesn’t really like cake and he loved this cake! We had a mini cake for us and cupcakes. They were so easy to work with and have many different types of cakes to match your wedding vision.

My cake was amazing. To save on money, we did a smaller three-tiered cake and sheet cakes that they cut in the back of my venue. No one even knew we had the sheet cakes and they were amazing it’s been over a week and I’m still eating the cake we kept in our fridge. We had 6 different combos and would recommend. They have individual cake tasting appointments where we got to try all cake, all frosting and fillings. there was plenty for 4/6 people to taste, then discuss decorating they have tons of books but we showed them what we wanted from Pinterest and they made my vision a beauty! I loved them!

We actually found out about Acme's wedding cakes from a dental hygienist who informed us that when she and her daughter went to bridal shows, their cakes were always the most beautiful. At the time, we were considering having Giant Eagle construct our wedding cake because my father loves their cakes so much, but we will literally never go back there for another cake ever again. Not only was our cake breathtaking and everything that we asked for, but it was also unbelievably delicious. We received compliments on it all night long. I could not recommend them enough. My now-husband and I will never purchase a cake from anywhere else ever again!

The cake was pretty and as we ordered. Ashely was very helpful. I was disappointed the cake topper was put on backwards and the light wasn't turned on at the wedding, even though I took it out of the box and showed them how to place it. Overall though it was okay.

We just did a small cake for reception and it was amazing! Looked amazing and tasted even better!! They really did a wonderful job!

This was the best decision for our wedding. The cake tasting was amazing and you have so many options to choose from. We did a 3 tiered cake then had sheet cakes in the back. So much cheaper this was and was right in our budget. Everyone said how good the cake was too! Thank you!

Our wedding cake was beautifully done! We got 3 tiers and a sheet cake! The price was great! It tasted delicious! We worked with Ashley and she was really wonderful and helpful! Acme was the first place we went for a tasting and we knew that day that we were going to have them do our cake! Great job Acme!! Definitely recommend them to any couple!

We had a beautiful 4 tiered wedding cake for 200 guests and a full sheet cake in the back. The options are endless for cake flavors and fillings at no extra cost. It was delicious! And Ashely did such a wonderful job decorating it!

Ashley was a pleasure to work with. We took them a picture of what we wanted and the cake they delivered was exactly what we asked for. the cake was delicious as well. for the price and quality you really can't beat this place.

Acme was the first bakery I visited, and it totally ruined me for my other tastings! Ashley was great to work with--professional, friendly and prepared. She asked exactly the right questions, took her time and did a great consultation. Oh, and the cake was delicious! The cake that we got on our wedding day was picture perfect and exactly what we ordered. Acme did a fantastic job and I would recommend the bakery to future brides!

Let's start with the good. They did a fantastic job with our cake. We did cupcakes for the guest and a cake for my husband and I. I told them what I wanted and they did exactly what I told them I pictured in my head. The only thing I wasn't too happy with is their hours for one thing. Working 8-5 everyday makes it nearly impossible to get there because the ladies leave around 5 or 6 and working in customer service I know better than to walk into a place right before someone is about to leave. Another thing I wasn't happy with is that since we orders cupcakes, we needed a cupcake tier. Which is an additional $75. Which you get back once you return it. But like I said earlier.. One of the cake designer ms has to be there to return it. There are people working in the cake department so I didn't understand why we had to wait for someone else just to drop off the tier and get our $75 back. So of course we had to come back (we don't live close to that acme) on their time and return it. Other than that I think they did a great job. If you don't mind going in at certain times to do stuff or talk to someone then I would highly recommend them.

We tried a number of cake shops in the Akron area. Acme had the best tasting cake by far! I was hesitant at first but had a very professional and knowledgeable tasting at the door. The taste sold us and the cost was a bonus. We saved a lot of money. They even suggested sheet cake and we never thought about that. I brought in pictures of what I wanted exactly and they said they could do anything. My cake ended up being exquisite and delicious.

I wanted a cake that was a blend of wedding and groom's cake. I had a vision of an absolutely beautiful wedding cake that had trickles of blood coming from a vampire bite. It embraced my feminine style with that of my vampiric husband. The cake designer came up with the perfect design and executed it flawlessly! I will use this cake shop for all my future bakery needs.

We chose to use Acme Fresh Market to make our wedding cake and we could not be happier with our service. The bakery team were all very easy to work with. The cake turned out to be everything I hoped for and was so delicious. I would definitely recommend Acme to other brides looking for an affordable wedding cake

My cake was an odd design, steampunk, and I had a small budget. Acme worked with me to get the perfect cake at the price I could afford with very little effort. We will be going back fr cakes in the future!

My husband and I choose Acme for our wedding cake originally because it was was so much more reasonably priced. However, after meeting with Ashley, we decided to go with Acme because their cake was delicious and the pictures were gorgeous. When we got our cake, it looked exactly like I had hoped. It even had little pearls around the bottom of each tier, not something I had asked for, but it matched my wedding them perfectly. The cake was decorated beautifully and all our guest commented how good it was. We got 3 different flavors: vanilla cake with strawberry filling, chocolate cake with raspberry filling, and banana cake with pineapple filling. All had whipped cream frosting and all were wonderful. Even the sheet cakes we ordered had been decorated with scroll work on the sides to match our wedding cake. Definitely recommend!

We heard about My Little Cake Shop at a bridal show so we checked it out because it tasted the best! I brought a picture with me and they copied it exactly plus they added our wedding colors inside to cake to make it pop! They were so much cheaper than what we had expected abc they did an awesome job!!

Acme did our wedding cake and the groom's cake. They provided us with a prodigious sample of their cakes, icings, and fillings when we went to taste test that no other bakery that we interviewed came close to. Even the samples were moist and flavorfull so we knew right away that we would choose Acme. They were very easy to work with and had many many pictures of past cakes they had decorated to help us make our choice for the wedding cake. On the day of, there was not enough ribbon to go around the layers of the wedding cake as planned so they made a ribbon out of fondant that looked just as good and called us to make sure we knew what had happened. They also did an amazing job on our Groom's cake which was in the shape of a glass of Guinness. It was absolutely perfect and exactly what i had imagined. Go to Acme for any cake you need!

We dealt with Ashley Beltrano and amazing service and very affordable. The cake looked amazing and flavors was great. I'm usually not a huge cake person but couldn't get enough of the cake it was so good. Guests really loved it too.

I loved every bit of my experience with Acme! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the samples were all delicious, and they made lots of very helpful suggestions so that I got a beautiful cake that was exactly what I wanted! And the cost was under budget!

Acme made ordering the cake very easy. I was out of town, so paying turned into a little issue. But if you pay in person, you will be fine. Our cake was beautiful and did not cost an arm and a leg. And it was delicious.

I had a design in mind that was spot on right when they brought it to the reception on my wedding day. It was 4 layers, multi-colored layers, intricate scrolling, amazing. It tasted great too! One thing was they forgot to bring me the cake stand I ordered, but gave us the money back and I didn't notice till I looked at pictures, so it was ok. Make sure you are the one double checking things at the end, delegation is good, but always make a phone call for specifics, for any vendor.

they made my cake just how i wanted it, and it was delicious. getting the cake wasn't a hassle at all, and it was cheap.

I was very pleased with the cake. It looked even better in person than it did in the picture! It tasted delicious and was a big hit with my guests!

To save money on bouquets, I picked out flowers and seeded eucalyptus from Acme's general floral area and asked them to put a few of each together to make bouquets for $15 each. They did so and wrapped my choice of ribbon around the stems and ... PERFECT! Ordered ahead and picked up the morning of my wedding. Saved mula and had amazing flowers! People couldn't believe it.

They were very easy to work with, they matched our colors perfectly and listened to what we wanted and their prices were very affordable and much less than other bakeries we researched and the design and taste of the cake was just as good if not better than the higher priced bakerys
