Oh hi, I'm Mindy! Celebrant. Writer. Story-weaver. Meaning-maker. And a firm believer that sacred moments always have room for laughter. After nearly 30 years in the people-and-work world, I realized I was ready for something more heart-centered, more creative, and more alive. It was less about starting over and more about coming home to the work I was meant to do. When I became a Certified Integral Coach through New Ventures West, I deepened my work in alchemizing head, heart, body, values, intuition, and whole-human change. A couple of years later, I became a Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant through the Life Transitions Institute, specializing in weddings. All Love. All Roots. Every couple deserves to feel fully seen, welcomed, and celebrated. Love does not come in one shape, one story, one tradition, or one way of belonging. Neither should ceremony. Acorn & Roots Ceremonies is an affirming, inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ couples, interfaith couples, intercultural couples, and all love rooted in care, respect, and mutual consent. You do not need to translate your identities, your faith, your culture, your beliefs, your relationship, your family, your pronouns, your traditions, or your values into something smaller or more acceptable here. You are welcome here. Your story is welcome here. Your love is welcome here. Together, we'll create a ceremony rooted in warmth, curiosity, respect, and care.
