We are situated among Lancaster County's farm landscape, yet conveniently located between Harrisburg and Lancaster, just off of route 283. Our event coordinators put you at ease by answering your questions and offering suggestions to customize your celebration. Our new reception rooms are beautiful yet understated, designed to fit any theme. Created from scratch, food served is always tasty and eye appealing.

e was satisfactory. However, the owner, Anita, was a terrible person to deal with. Despite not being the event coordinator, she bossed people around and treated the guests poorly by being impolite and nasty. She forced everyone to stay outside in the scorching heat, which was nearly 90 degrees, while they waited for the wedding to start. She remained rude throughout the reception, disrupting guests and shouting at them about a door being left open. Her behavior was so unbearable that the bride broke down in tears, and the groom and guests were extremely frustrated with her behavior. Her unprofessionalism was unacceptable, and I do not recommend this venue for any event, especially not a wedding.

r tasting, which happened during a peak in COVID, they provided us with a box to take home, which contained enough food for a tasting plus a week’s worth of warm-ups; everything was delicious and they were so generous from the beginning. After looking at the all-inclusive off-site wedding package, we knew we found the right caterer. We got the pulled pork, sausage and peppers in red sauce, mac and cheese, and green beans with bacon as a buffet at our venue. Acorn Farms provided an abundance of food (that we got to enjoy for the entire week after the wedding as well) and took care of all our catering needs. They brought extras of everything to make sure we had enough, and truly made our wedding day incredible. We are so pleased with our decision to have Acorn Farms cater our wedding!

step of the way. We were able to go scope out the venue several times to plan our decorations and we had a lot of freedom in decorating. They also allowed us to have the venue for the entire day on Friday so all of my set up was done before the rehearsal & rehearsal dinner. That really cut back on my stress level for the rehearsal and on the morning of the wedding. Our ceremony was at their outdoor location and our reception was in the big reception hall.
Lauren, their wedding coordinator, was simply incredible! She went above and beyond what was necessary. She acted as our wedding coordinator, telling the DJ when to start various songs for the ceremony, the guys when to walk out, each of my girls when to walk down the isle, etc. Once again this helped to make my day stress free! She was so reassuring and really had everything under control. Even more, we ran out of my favorite wine during the reception and she went out and bought another bottle of that kind for us! On top of that, she went out and bought my husband a piece of chocolate cake with peanut butter icing because it is his favorite & we weren't able to have it for our cake because of allergies for our guests. She just did so much to make sure our day was perfect.
Overall, this venue was beautiful, easy to work with, convenient for guests, and reasonable to boot. The price that I have listed was for 160 guests and included the location (tables, chairs, linens all included!), dinner, desserts, and water & iced tea. I will be posting pictures when I get them back from my photographer.

and in the weeks leading up was very invested in our reception and how it was going to go. Her experience and knowledge in the business really shined! Our wedding day flowed smoothly and she accomodated the kids in attendance. All the staff were great and handled some of the minor things we needed done without question. Everyone complimented us on the food and we realized the next day we chose the best venue. You won't be disappointed!
