Choosing Kellie to take our pictures has by far been one of the best and easiest choices I have had to make for our wedding. Kellie took my sisters pictures about two years ago, and from that day I knew I wanted her to take mine. Kind, Energetic, and easy going are just a few of the many words that could be used to describe her. Her passion for photography and her clients come out in every shot she takes. Unlike many other photographers, Kellie captures real life moments. Every picture shows real life interactions and emotions. For anyone who wants the best photographer in the area, look no further. Across the Miles photographed my wedding, and I couldn't have asked for better pictures. When planning a wedding, the costs can quickly add up, but a photographer is one component I would definitely splurge on because the pictures will last forever. Kelly is great to work with! She responds quickly to any emails. Before the wedding, she is very thorough and detailed in making sure she knows exactly what pictures you would like. Kelly was great about making sure everyone was relaxed and having fun. My wedding was in May, and the weather was cold and rainy -- but that didn't stop us! Kelly knew I wanted outdoor pictures so she brought a quilt we would put down in the middle of a field to save my dress. And she was even on the cold, wet ground herself! I found Across the Miles through one of my friends, and I couldn't have been happier with my choice in a wedding photographer. I promise - you won't be disappointed!!

My husband and I would definitely recommend Across the Miles to anyone! When researching photographers, we stumbled upon several different vendors and checked out their online galleries. The first time we pulled up Across the Miles, we knew we wanted Kellie to be a part of our wedding day! There was just no comparison to the other sites. We met Kellie at a coffee shop and she was very professional, friendly, and personable. She brought albums and samples of her work for us to browse and we were really impressed. She did a great job keeping in touch with us in the months before the wedding and helped us organize the list of family photos we wanted. She was very flexible with us and was willing to send her assistant to a different (& farther!) location to take pictures of the men. The assistant was super nice & talented and was a perfect fit for the men's session. And although it was hot outside, Kellie was on top of her game and captured a lot of great pictures without keeping us out too long. The girls & I definitely appreciated that! They were also able to capture some great candid shots of our grandparents, which I know we will cherish forever. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with the results and our experience with Across the Miles!

Kellie Penn is amazing! She took our engagement photos and our wedding photos. It was SO hard to pick our favorites because we loved them all! She is so wonderful to work with. She is laid back and has a great personality. We loved her!

Kellie Penn from Across the Miles does some of the most amazing work I have ever seen. The first time I have ever laid eyes on her photos my husband and I knew that is exactly who was going to photograph our wedding. She captures every special moment soo well, I was teary eyed after I looked through my pics. I felt like I re lived that day all over again and was able to see special moments that I was not able to see that day as well. She was also a lot of help during my wedding day assisting with putting on my dress, drying the stems from the flowers so all the girls dresses would not get wet.. she goes above and beyond. Not only are the pictures to die for, she has your pictures done at a very reasonable time. Very reliable, amazing work. Friends and family have been messaging me how amazing my pics are. I could go on an on. I highly recommend this photographer if you want quality and amazing photos :)

Not only is Kellie from Across the Miles an amazing photographer but an amazing person! She has photographed our family and of course our wedding. I knew I wanted Kellie to photograph my wedding years before my husband even popped the question! Mutual family friends directed me to her website, and I began to stalk her blog weekly and knew she had to be the photographer I chose for my special day (even if I had to choose my wedding date to fit a spot she had open). From the first day I met Kellie, I knew that she was going to make our wedding day go as smooth as possible and our pictures were going to be the best around. Kellie made both my husband and I feel at ease as she photographed every single detail from our wedding. All day long, she and an assistant were there on the spot gathering every shot to help me remember the day (as it blew by SO fast and in the blink of an eye). She was very easy to communicate with prior to the wedding, and she knew exactly what I was looking for in my photos. She has such a bubbly personality and she fit in perfectly with every one involved in my wedding. From my engagement photos, to the photo booth, to the wedding photos, I could not have picked a more special person to capture everything! She is reasonably priced, and every one of her packages offers many perks! I plan to recommend Across the Miles to every person I know who gets engaged!

As I was planning my wedding and searching for photographers, I visited more than a fair share of vendors. But when I came across Kellie's pictures, I was in LOVE! The way she is able to capture the essence of the couple and they way they naturally interact with one another was just one of the things that drew me to her work. I made sure that my wedding fell on a day when she was available and I have never regretted that decision. First, Kellie is an amazing person. Her upbeat personality and caring nature make her a true joy to work with. And than there is her talent. She was able to put my husband at total ease and capture incredible pictures of us that will last a lifetime. The biggest problem that I have is choosing which pictures to put up around the house! I cannot say enough good things about Kellie and would highly recommend her for any special occassion that you need photographed!

I was not your typical bride. I don't particularly like being the center of attention or having everyone look at me. I wasn't all that interested in favors and in the little odds and ends. At one point, I wasn't even going to book a photographer. I was just going to have friends and family take the pictures because, after several painful meetings, I couldn't find someone who was worth what they were asking. My friends and family kept pushing me to schedule SOMEONE, ANYONE. Finally, I contacted a friend from college who works in the field and she recommended Across the Miles Photography. I had been to several bridal shows and, honestly, I was underwhelmed by the photographers' portfolios. One visit to Kellie's website and I knew that I wanted to work with her. Her photographs are so natural, so warm, and so elegant. I sent Kellie an email requesting a meeting, and she responded promptly and professionally. The rest is history. Our wedding took place on one of the hottest days of the year. (It was over 110 degrees out!) We had to move our outdoor wedding inside and make several adjustments. Kellie just rolled punches! I never felt stressed or rushed. She definitely kept her cool. The final product exceeded our expectations. I uploaded a few of the photos to Facebook (about 150!), and the responses have been overwhelming positive. The photographs are timeless. Kellie really captured the light and used our locations to her advantage. Friends have even asked for copies of some of the images, so they can put our wedding photos up at their homes! My husband and I truly enjoyed working with Kellie. Not only is she exceptionally talented and professional, but she is also extremely kind. I knew that I could trust her to deliver, and she did not disappoint! I went from wanting to spend no money on a photographer to purchasing a package. Across the Miles was worth every penny! Kellie is absolutely amazing! My sister used Kellie for her wedding and I was thrilled with her pictures, so my mom surprised me by asking Kellie to travel to KY to do my wedding. I was beyond excited when I heard she agreed! She is a bubbly, super upbeat lady who LOVES what she does and it shows in her work. She makes you feel comfortable every step of the way. You will NOT be disappointed. I'm honestly sad my engagement/wedding pictures are over because I'm not sure when I will see her again. Not only is she an amazing photographer, she has become a family friend. We love her work!

Finding a great photographer was something that was very important to me. From the moment we first met with Kellie, I was amazed by her creativity and energy. Her enthusiasm and energy made taking pictures fun for everyone in our wedding party. Kellie and her crew were the best! She has great ideas, and she is very creative! I had a rainy wedding day and I thought I would not get any outside pictures taken, but we had a pocket of dry weather and kellie jumped at the opportunity. She took some amazing outdoor pictures with the gray sky, puddles and all! My inside pictures were wonderful as well! She is so sweet, and she adapts to any situation! Her photography packages are great. I highly recommend Across The Miles Photography!!!
