Active entertainment did a great job for our wedding at a reasonable price! They were communicative, professional and helpful every step of the way. They did a great job keeping the dance floor full all night!

Active Entertainment (Joe) was effecient, flexible, and communicative! He met all of our wants & made our vision come to life. From the lighting, to introductions, to being your personal bar tender .. he made the night so personable. He combined my 2000's hip-hop/r&b with my husbands hispanic roots perfectly!

The level and quality of service Active Entertainment provided was second to none. All of my communications with them were great - they acted with professionalism, gave recommendations and were very knowledgeable on what would work and what wouldn't. I appreciated the communication / coordination they had with my officiant and photographer so there was nothing extra I needed to do the day of. They did an amazing job keeping our guests engaged, laughing and dancing. I trusted them and put my wedding in their hands, and they completely exceeded every expectation. The dance floor was FULL the entire night and all guests were having so much fun that I ended up extending our bar service to keep the party going. I received so many compliments from guests that it was the best party/wedding they had ever been to! My wedding wouldn't have been the same without them!

Jamie did a great job at our son’s wedding on the 4th of July! He played all the song requested and kept the people on the dance floor going. Joe was a pleasure to work with booking the party. Next party we have will definitely be with them!

Jaime was our DJ for our 4th of July wedding and he was INCREDIBLE!!! Working with Joe and Jaime, we were able to really nail down a schedule of event format that worked for us and everyone else. They were wonderful start to finish and very reasonably priced. They really did make the day 100X better than it would have been without them. It is totally worth the money to just get a DJ, and if you can get Active Entertainment as your DJ way better!!

We used Active Entertainment for our DJ and photo booth for our wedding and it was by far the best decision we made! Joe and his crew made the dance floor so fun that we closed the place down and did not want to leave! I loved the Photo Booth and being able to look at all the photos after the fact (we ended up doing a Congo line and got everyone in the Photo Booth!). Because of having Active Entertainment as our DJ it was by far the best day of my life and I would recommend them to anyone! We have also had many friends and family tell us that was the best wedding they have been to and it was so much fun. If I could do my wedding another time and have Active Entertainment as my DJ again I would!

Everything was great. Joe was professional and helped us to determine what exactly we wanted from our wedding. He suggested fun games and different ways to do them. Honestly, it was a hit! I had lots of my family members coming up to me after the wedding telling me how much fun they had and that it was the best wedding they had been to in a while, saying how inclusive the DJ was and how he was always trying to get people on the dance floor. These DJs were amazing and kept the night running smoothly! We had such a fun time, from all our favorite songs being played to them helping us through the night with dinner first dances and cake cutting timelines. Joe was early, professional and accommodating. I honestly think at some of the planning stage he was more excited than I was 😆. He's very passionate about what he does. He will not disappoint you! When you're thinking about a wedding, of course your first thought is the Bride and Groom; but as for us in that role our first thought was to make sure we had the best entertainment for our guest! Without good entertainment, the party dies down and we wanted to make sure it was the party of the year that our guest wouldn't forget! We had 3 different vendors lined up and Active Entertainment came thru for us, from start to finish! Joe & his staff were the absolute best decision to hire for our BIG day. Active entertainment has so many packages to choose from, pricing is very reasonable and they are amazing to work with. They are organized and give you their all. Active entertainment not only provided DJ for our reception but for our ceremony, as well as full up lighting of our ballroom, photobooth services and my absolute favorite " Dancing on a Cloud ". All the staff are outgoing, they like to have a good time with the guest.. our DJ had went out on the floor and danced with us, and he took a video of mine and my husband's last dance of the night, knowing our back ground with the song, the video is truly something I will forever get to watch! I am 100% sure that you will not regret booking with Active Entertainment! They were the absolute best entertainment. So glad we choose them!

Joe exceeded our expectations, he was organized went over our day with us beforehand, he gave us ideas, and worked with some last minute changes. He made our guest feel welcomed, there wasn’t a time a person wasn’t on the dance floor. He is professional, is easy to talk to & get ahold of. His packages are worth it, he won’t disappoint!!

We had to reschedule 3 times due to Covid restrictions and the amount of guests that were attending our wedding. Joe stuck with us through all of it and did such an AMAZING job on our day. He handled everything we threw at him and kept our timeline in tact on the day of. I would not suggest anyone else. He was a godsend!!!!!

We hired Active entertainment to DJ our wedding. Our DJs were Jeff & Joe. They were very helpful with both the ceremony and our reception. They provided a microphone and speaker for our outside venue, and were very accommodating for last minute changes on the day of the wedding. They were also helpful in preparing the transitions from one part of the reception to the next.

I had a great time at the wedding. Personally I felt it took a long time to get into the music that I wanted to dance to. After requesting a song it would switch back to dance music from before my generation. Obviously we love the classics, but that’s not all I wanted to dance to.

Joe from Active Entertainment did an amazing job at doing our ceremony and reception. He promised to get everyone on the dance floor and he did just that. Everyone stayed on the dance floor all night. He did a wonderful job and was easy to work with. Our venue had a new ceremony spot and a we were the first ceremony there and Joe worked amazing with them. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our big day! We had to delay our wedding twice due to COVID-19 roadblocks, but Joe supported us throughout the whole process and was very easy to communicate with. DJ Joe really did an outstanding job at our wedding!! He was so helpful and informative during the planning process. Very easy to get in touch with and helped answer our questions. He arrived at our venue when he said he would be there and got right to setting up. Our ceremony was on Lake Michigan where it is naturally always windy but he was able to make sure everyone could hear everything from the music down to our vows! Then for the reception, he rocked it!!! He had the dance floor full all night and was definitely reading the room. He always made sure that my husband and I had a drink in our hands and that we were on the dance floor when he would play a song off our playlist. I don’t even know where to start about Active Entertainment and Anthony. I knew Anthony coming into this because we had worked together before for other events so my expectations may have been a little higher than normal. He did an outstanding job at our wedding and kept the party going all night. He even was able to play the frozen theme song for my 4 year old daughter that seriously made her night! He was very professional about every aspect from our day. He showed up early and sought me out to go over the way things would go for the day. Anthony’s attire was impeccable! Very professionally dressed. I would highly recommend him as well as any other DJ from active entertainment. Joe, the owner, handled all our paperwork and he was always very easy to get ahold of and listened to every want/need we expressed. If you need an outstanding DJ, Active Entertainment and Anthony is without a doubt the ones to hire! I look forward to working with them again in the future.
