He was super flexible day-of in terms of timing changes we had to make due to an earlier reception than expected and had a ton of great suggestions that really brought our ceremony and reception to life. Also, over and above, he took videos that he shared with us of different fun moments on the dancefloor and ended the set with a surprise moment that brought all the remaining guests together in a way everybody thought was beautiful. My very favorite part of the entire day was Richard’s surprise last song for the reception (won’t share his secret sauce here so others can also be surprised)—it led to memories I will cherish for the rest of my life. He also sent me videos of our first and last dances after the wedding, which was absolutely incredible because we didn’t have a videographer and weren’t expecting to have any footage of those things. I'm subtracting a star due to Jay, the owner of Adagio. During our wedding planning, we had two calls and he was VERY late to both of those calls. Trying to plan a wedding in between meetings at your full-time job is hard enough without vendors being late to pre-scheduled calls! Additionally, be aware that additional fees might get you - examine your contract closely before signing! There is an extra charge for requesting a specific DJ (that was fine with us, but be aware), and we also got charged an extra $200 two weeks before our wedding because the original contract didn't include set-up time for some reason. Overall though, I would say our DJ was worth the money, and probably even worth the hassle.

d Ben and Faith did a great job. From the first song to the last song, the dance floor was packed and guests were having so much fun! Ben did a great job communicating with us throughout the evening, too. He made sure to touch base with the officiant and live musician before the ceremony, and rolled with a few timeline changes in the reception – including a surprise flash mob, which he integrated into the dancing so it barely broke the flow of the evening at all. Adagio’s general communication is awesome, too. We used their “most requested” list to build a playlist, which was really helpful, and Jay or another staff member was always really quick to answer our questions. We’re really glad we went with Adagio, and would absolutely recommend them to other couples!

He went above and beyond for us by preparing separate equipment in a different part of our venue for us to do our first dance in a special location that was apart from the main dancing area of the reception and the transition between the two was seamless because of how well prepared and experienced he is. We also had some last minute changes to our speech schedule that he handled extremely well. And of course the playlist he put together was exactly what my Wife and I were looking for. Isaiah Ousley was exactly what we wanted in a DJ. He was polite and thorough during the planning process, had all of his equipment setup and fine tuned for the day-of, and executed the plan and short notice adjustments perfectly. It was an easy decision for us to give Isaiah Ousley (and Adagio Djay) the best rating possible, he took great care of us on our big day and we know he would do the same for anyone else.
