Adair was the photography at my best friends wedding and after seeing the pictures I knew I had to have her at my wedding. I absolutely love our pictures, in fact I continue to have Adair take family pictures every year.
Adair is a photojournalist, I don't like the posed type pictures so this really appealed to me. Believe me we have plenty of posed pictures and I do love those. I have been married for 6 years now and I still love looking at my pictures. In fact after we got our pictures back I told Adair I want to get married again just to have more pictures taken!
I have been contemplating writing a review for quite awhile because I felt bad about what I would write. I used Adair for my wedding and wish I hadn't. She came to me highly highly recommended so I thought I couldn't go wrong. Sadly, I did. The pictures were very bad - lighting, people cut out, no candids (which I specifically requested), timliness in getting pictures back, variety etc. In fact, I only found one picture in the whole bunch worthy of being framed. The formals on the altar had to be photoshopped in (not because of our expressions, but because of the lighting) and look like we are floating in outer space so displaying it is out of the question. In fact, after we showed the pictures to friends and family, the best comment we got was "well, there are a few decent ones" ... that is after we spent SO much money and on such an important day that we cannot get back. I am more angry at the amount of money we spent - the pictures were the one place where I was willing to spend more because I thought they would last. Now, I cry/get angry every time that I look at how 'professional' pictures so I choose to rarely look at them. I just looked at them and felt it time to write a review. The pictures I have displayed of our wedding day were ones that my friends and family took.
I hesitated to write this review because Adair is really a very nice person and the people we know who used her loved her and would use her again. I only wish that we had been able to have the same experience. I would suggest looking at her and go with your gut - it may have just been a fluke that we had such bad pictures.
