I am based in Asheville, NC but serve the entire state of North Carolina and beyond. I believe that your wedding day can either be the best day of your lives together or just one of many. And the difference between one and the other depends on your connection to each other. So often I see couples passing like two ships in the night, never really spending that much time together because of work and other commitments. But marriage is not for the faint of heart. You can not just set it and forget it. It takes vulnerability, open communication, and intentional connection to make it work. That is where I believe my purpose comes in. Sure, we'll get some amazing photos for your engagement session and on your wedding day - that is a given. But leading up to your wedding: beginning with our first call to one of our meetups to your engagement session to constructing your custom wedding day timeline to the wedding day and finally to sitting down together to pour over your gallery - you will see how much I care about you and not just the "wedding you", and in that process you'll get to know not just the "photographer me". I'm not in this for awards or publication credits, the only thing I care about is seeing my couples connect with each other and remember why they are doing any of this in the first place. And then you will have the photos and albums to back up the feeling and that connection, again and again, the photographs will be so texturally and emotionally real because this isn't a fairytale. So maybe what you want is a photographer that will show you all of their awards and promise to get your wedding published so you can show it to all of your friends and family, and if that's you that's okay, I just don't think we'll be the right fit. Though if you crave the raw, thoughtful, transparent and adventurous experiences in life, then I think we're going to match up beautifully. I can't wait to get the conversation started with you both.

nd emotion of the wedding day. We were thrilled to hire him based on his website photos and he did not let us down!! From the beginning, Adam was extremely professional and on point. He went above and beyond helping us navigate a difficult situation with our wedding planner that completed changed the experience we were having and are so grateful to him. He has great relationships with others in the wedding business and worked so well with everyone. He is a wonderful person who clearly works on himself personally and loves his work which made it such a pleasure to work with and get to know him.
All that being said, the photographs were beyond what we could have hoped for. We are in the process of trying to order prints and even trying to narrow it down is so challenging. I can't wait to see our wedding album in person and so happy that Adam also makes his own prints. We cannot recommend him highly enough and know he will continue to be a part of our lives.

He is such a cool and genuine guy that you ultimately forget he's taking your picture and it's like you're just hanging out with him. He really gets to know his clients and it shows in his work. the fine arts aspect of our wedding theme. We didn't want posed, traditional wedding photos. Instead, we envisioned fluid, dynamic pictures of not only us but the loved ones who chose to come and celebrate our big day with us. Not only did Adam deliver, he exceeded our expectations, and those of my not-easy-to-impress mother.
He does an excellent job of listening to a couple's needs, understanding their unique story and curating his talents to meet the needs of his clients.
Because we spent a great deal of time with Adam, my husband and I can honestly say that he is a man of integrity, dedication and passion, nestled behind the comforting comforting veneer of a friendly, down-to-earth man.
