. There are a few specific moments that really stood out from working with Adam. First, it started pouring about 30 minutes into our engagement shoot and Adam allowed us to reschedule for another day which we really appreciated. Second, during the wedding day when we were getting ready and taking pictures Adam remembered the kind of music I am into and put on a playlist he thought I would like. It kept the mood and energy upbeat and fun. It also made it clear that Adam is really invested in not only capturing great photos, but in creating a great wedding day experience. Even though my husband and I are both a little camera shy, Adam helped us feel comfortable during our engagement shoot and wedding pictures. The results are absolutely stunning! He captured amazing shots while also finding ways to capture our personalities at the same time. I highly recommend working with Adam!

. They were personable, got to know us as people (hobbies, activities etc), and got to know us better in order to tailor the shoot to what we wanted and what we were willing to do. They were able to send our photos in a very quick turnaround which was awesome to see as well. We were blown away by the shots. Then we had the wedding. Being a destination wedding it was a new venue, Adam and Jade arrived early at the venue to scope out places for shots and ideas. They captured the 'lay flat' items and got getting ready photos of bridesmaids getting ready in the AM. They captured the groomsman arriving at a different location and getting ready photos (serious and funny ones). They were there at each of the 'moments' capturing photos and yet they were not in the way of it being just us. They suggest ideas but are also flexible in adapting to what you want/are able/can do (i.e. wearing a dress is restricting). They are extremely easy to work with and even played music while getting photos to let you loosen up and have your personality shine. They were able to get a sneak peek to us very quickly which was WAY more than the 20 photos I was expecting- I was super impressed and the photos again are amazing. In looking at the entirety of the wedding photos, which we got back super quickly as well, I have said, "I don't remember this shot but they captured it and the emotion perfectly". It wasn't how my husband and I looked or how aglow we were on our day (it is our wedding after all) or how beautiful the background or the venue's beauty were- all those are amazing wherever you get married. Adam and Jade captured that beauty but they 'read' me and my husband well and are so talented in capturing the special moments with your feelings and personalities and expressions in the moment all at the same time. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

uring the actual photo shoot, he was welcoming and easy to work with. My eight year old daughter was apart of the shoot, and Adam made sure to include her throughout the whole experience. I would highly recommend Adam for any of your photo needs.

ken from previous weddings…and wow they were stunning, creative, and exactly the type of photos we wanted. We met with him and about 3 other photographers via phone. Instantly when we were speaking with Adam we felt a connection with him because he was so easy to talk to and was able to see what type of vision we wanted for our pictures. During our engagement session: He was so flexible because we ended up rescheduling several times due to weather. He also took his time and shot many photos at two different locations for us (Frick Park and The Terminal at the Strip District). Adam made us feel comfortable and was very specific on what he wanted us to do. He listened to any suggestions we had or any ideas we had for different shots. He sent over a few sneak peek pictures so that we could get a head start on sending our save the dates out. Leading up to the wedding: Adam and (his sister- Jade who is in charge of scheduling for Adam) were very quick to answer any questions we had and helped us find other amazing vendors. A month before the wedding, Adam helped us put together a timeline for the day of the wedding. (He did such a great job sticking to the timeline and made the most of any time throughout the day and night to get pictures that we wanted; sunset, field photos, etc.) On the day of our wedding: We had Adam and Jade as a second photographer (we were amazingly lucky to have Jade as a second photographer because she was also so creative, her pictures and detail shots were equally stunning) Adam not only made us feel comfortable but SO many of our guests commented on how efficient he was, organized he was, and how personable he was. Even weeks later, our families could not stop talking about how amazing Adam was. He was basically everywhere throughout the day/night in order to get those “in the moment” shots…Adam did not mind when we grabbed him to take a picture of certain groups that may have not been on the shot list. He worked very well with our Videographer (who he recommended to us), Bobby Bridges from Bridge Perspective. Throughout the day, Adam did not look flustered or stressed at all. He was so calm and professional and that made us very calm and able to be in the moment with everything. ALL of his pictures he took (engagement and wedding were done and sent to us very quickly- some were even sent to us days later!!!) Overall, Adam Michaels was by far our favorite vendor and we could not have been more pleased with how all of the pictures turned out. We highly recommend Adam if you want someone who is creative, flexible, personable, organized, and efficient. Thank you, Adam and Jade!

ble. We are so thankful she was as she was amazing to work with and took two people, who don’t like taking pictures, out of their comfort zone to deliver exceptional photos. We did an engagement shoot and she was with us the entire day of our wedding. She was calm and extremely easy to work with the entire time and put up with me being irritable at times as I mentioned before taking photos is not my favorite. She captured pictures I never thought I would be in nor thought I was capable of taking. I now have beautiful pictures that I will hold on to forever that perfectly capture our wedding day. Within 24 hours of the wedding, we had several hundred sneak peak photos that were STUNNING and less than a month after our wedding, we have several thousand beautiful photos. We talked several times before the wedding so he knew my expectations and what was important to me that day. Adam was able to control a room full of rowdy bridesmaids and mothers and kept the day on time and was efficient. It was a balmy 20 degrees in Pittsburgh that day and you could not tell in any pictures that we were freezing. Adam and Jade were able to capture the most precious and serious moments along with the funny action shots that caught our personalities. We were excited to get a sneak peak so quickly to send our thank you cards and the rest of the gallery was completed a few short weeks later. We have been receiving so many compliments on how wonderful our photos look and we could not be happier with how they turned out!

I also wanted some pictures with the Fall foliage and Jade scoped out the perfect place for us near our venue. After our wedding we got a sneak peak in a week and received the rest of our pictures exactly 8 weeks from our wedding date which happened to be Christmas Eve. We still got them when promised even though we didn’t expect them until after the holiday weekend! We highly recommend Jade and Adam for your wedding or any event!

My primary request was that they capture the reactions of our family when the surprise was announced - they got the best reactions! nt wedding decisions for me, and I wanted to pick the right person. After talking to Adam on the phone, I immediately knew he was the kind of person I would work well with. I outlined the basic details of what wedding photos I wanted, and on our wedding day he and his partner divided and conquered. As a team, they were incredible. From the first moments of getting ready, to facilitating our (perfect) first look, to capturing the emotions of reception speeches, and all of the reception fun, I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful and well rounded collection of photos from my wedding. Adam is fantastic to work with. If you want amazing portrait and candid photos, he will get that done for you. He is exactly what you want in a photographer: knowledgable and knows how to get things done. He is a photographer who will coach you into the perfect poses and the perfect emotions without you having to worry about figuring all of that out yourself. That was actually one of the most stressful things for me as I have done a photoshoot with a photographer who did not know how to coach and relied on us to figure out our poses and facial expressions. That stressed me out so much because I did not want to screw up my wedding photos if I had a wedding photographer who relied on me to figure it all out. Adam will get all of the photos that you want, and more. And it will be a seamless, fun, enjoyable process for all of you!! If I had to go back in time and pick a wedding photographer again, I would 1000% choose Adam again. I plan on using him for all future life events if he is willing to tolerate us again!
