Josh and Alexa were the best choice for our wedding photography vendor! They are calming, collective, have a great sense of the day and made sure every specific and unique detail was captured. In a day that flies by fast, it is crucial to have photographers that capture every minute and they did just that. Not to mention, they were able to turn around preview photos in 24-36 hours. They are truly the two most personable people that we know. Josh and Alexa couldn’t be more amazing to work with. From the first time my now husband and I met with them, they had such a calming presence and their work was amazing. They also were extremely familiar with our venue we were getting married at, which was such an added bonus. At our wedding, they were so creative with pictures and locations to take photos on the grounds. Neither my husband or I love having our pictures taken, but Josh and Alexa are so great at making you feel comfortable and posing you so the photos come out amazing. They also are great about taking candid shots, which I loved having. Both our families commented on how great and kind our photographers were. They were also very accommodating and took extended family photos that my parents appreciated so much. They were so quick to get us back sneak peeks from our wedding. Once we got the entire album back, we were so happy with how well they captured the day. We truly don’t have enough good things to say about Josh and Alexa. From our engagement shoot to our wedding photos and all the correspondence in between they have been absolutely amazing and so incredibly kind. My husband and I couldn’t recommend them enough!

We just received our final wedding album and Wow.. where do I even begin?! Words will never be able to fully describe how grateful we are and what an honor it was to have Josh and Alexa capture our Wedding Day. Adams Photography was not only recommended by a couple that we know (STUNNING wedding photos) but our wedding reception venue, The Brix on the Fox, also has them on their preferred vendor list - so for us it was a no brainer to inquire! We booked with them about a little over a year out and digitally they were extremely clear and answered all of our questions promptly and made it so easy to solidify and book the best package for us. Fast forward to early Fall of 2021, we began having planning sessions and with their expert advice they truly helped us envision our day and define those special and must have moments that we'd remember for the rest of our lives. We were able to meet Josh and Alexa at our engagement shoot in Chicago and they captured our vision of the scenery precisely and made us feel so at ease in front of the camera. Shortly after that came the wedding and we were constantly reminded throughout the day that we made the best decision ever to book with them. Day of schedule worked out perfect with Josh covering the guys and Alexa having coverage on the ladies ahead of our church ceremony and they were in constant communication to ensure we were sticking to the timeline and things went smoothly. I can truly say we were both so at ease, as they were patient, attentive to detail and provided us with so much direction which we needed and appreciated! They are not only kind, fun and amazing humans but they're extremely talented. From our engagement photos to our wedding sneak peak and final album, we are just so blown away at every moment captured and their style of photography. Of all the decisions surrounding our wedding day, our decision to hire Josh & Alexa to capture our day was truly the best one we made (besides the decision to marry each other, of course ;) )! I wasn’t a particularly stressed bride on wedding day, but Alexa had such a calming presence that I couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief as soon as she arrived in our getting ready space. She & Josh captured every sweet moment of our day with incredible attention to detail, which really helped us re-live every aspect of our day (even the ones we didn’t get to experience first-hand). WOW. I cannot even put into words how much I truly recommend Adams Photography. I might be biased, but I feel our wedding pictures are the best I have ever seen, and it has everything to do with their personalized style of photography! Many wedding photographers have their own signature hue that they put on all their pictures, and what I loved most about our wedding album was the boldness of color and variety of hues. I felt I could truly feel the emotions behind the pictures, which is exactly what we were looking for! We LOVE Josh and Alexa! I knew we had to try and book them for our wedding after seeing them in action and their amazing work with so many of our friends and family. They are incredibly responsive, supportive, encouraging, helpful, and easy to be around. In one word, EXCEPTIONAL. Josh and Alexa Adams are the most professional, caring, and talented photographers I've ever had the pleasure of hiring. They shot both our engagement session and wedding nearly two years apart. During those years they maintained in close contact with us, thoughtfully checking in despite COVID-19 worries and a completely rescheduled wedding. On our special day, Josh and Alexa arrived punctually, immediately diving into an extensive shot list without hesitation. Everyone in my bridal party immediately noticed how warm and inviting they were. They made everyone feel comfortable and heard. I can honestly say that they put in more work organizing/coordinating people and events than ANYONE I hired or designated. They made all their hard work look effortless. What's more, they messaged me a robust amount of previews the day after the session. They made my wedding look even MORE beautiful than I remember (or maybe they just captured the beauty perfectly :) Although I've relocated since my wedding day, I would 100% trust Josh and Alexa to photograph my future life events (in the event I'm in Chicago again). I truly think that Josh and Alexa are the best photographers out there. Josh and Alexa are so wonderful! We found them through social media and were thrilled to work with them after our first meeting over Jeni's ice cream. They are so sweet and genuine. For our engagement photos, the weather was not cooperating and we had to reschedule a few times. They were very patient with our work schedules and took our opinion on photo locations into consideration. We even got a preview of those photos the night of! We were even more grateful to be working with Josh and Alexa with all the crazinesss in 2020. They were flexible and understanding as we were undecided on our wedding plans throughout the year. In the end, we decided to have a smaller ceremony with our immediate family and wedding party on our 10-year dating anniversary in November. They helped us coordinate a day of timeline in addition to a list ceremony shots and family combinations to make sure we got all the photos we wanted. Josh and Alexa have such a calming presence and truly kept the wedding day on track. Josh was able to capture photos of the groomsmen while Alexa was with the bridesmaids in the morning and they coordinated our first look flawlessly! We loved the location they picked for our first look and photos as well. They were very considerate, diligent, and organized directing everyone for different poses. To end the day, we got a preview of 70+ photos from them, which was very meaningful since we could share them with those we couldn't have celebrating with us. Overall, Josh and Alexa went above and beyond to accommodate us and make our day so memorable. Not only were we impressed, but all of our family and friends had positive remarks about them too! We can't wait to work with them as our photographers when we have a reception in 2021.

Josh and Alexa continue to wildly exceed our expectations. We chose them based on a friend's recommendation, but were still nervous as my husband and I don't consider ourselves photogenic or natural in front of a camera. Those hesitations immediately subsided the moment we met Josh and Alexa for our engagement shoot. First of all, they might be the sweetest couple we've ever met. Such a pleasure and joy to get to know. For the photos, they managed to direct us in ways that just made sense, and we could tell they had a vision with every shot. Plus, we unexpectedly got several preview shots from them that very night! Having those preview pics was exciting and satisfied us while we waited for the rest of our photos 🙂 Then came 2020... The year our wedding was supposed to take place. This is where we are so, so incredibly thankful we chose such a wonderful couple to shoot our day. They stuck by our side the whole year as my fiancé and I went back and forth on our wedding plans. They were so understanding and patient with us, even though their world had also been rocked by this challenging year. Ultimately, we decided to have a small, intimate ceremony with our immediate families on December 5th, 2020. With many changing factors changing by the day due to COVID, Josh and Alexa rolled with it. When the day finally came, their presence immediately calmed us down our wedding nerves. I wish I was exaggerating when I say that our wedding day was only a success because of Josh and Alexa. Because of COVID, we didn't have a rehearsal, venue coordinator, or any sort of wedding planner. As a person who gets overwhelmed easily (this is something I didn't know about myself until wedding planning, LOL). Josh and Alexa were one step ahead of everyone. Alexa not only stepped up in the coordination of major parts of the day... Fetching my bouquet, sending the vow books and rings down from our room, coordinating timing with the officiant, and more big/small details that would have been missed... These are not (and should not) be part of a photographer's job description. Still, Josh and Alexa went out of their way to help us have the best day ever. We had a blast running around the town taking pictures. Josh and Alexa were even game to take a spontaneous picture with Santa which makes us laugh every time we see it. My husband and family are all so impressed with Josh and Alexa. We keep getting teary eyed as we talk about how much they contributed to our special day. Not to mention, the pictures are incredible. With challenging lighting and battling sundown, they rocked it. We plan on having Josh and Alexa as our photographers when we have a bigger celebration in 2021. We're thankful they were able to accommodate this for us, because I don't think we'd ever want to choose another photography team.

When we hired our videographer, Anchored Films, I had asked them who they recommended for a photographer. Their #1 Rec. was Adams Photography. From the moment we booked Josh and Alexa all the way up until our wedding day, they have been the easiest people to work and get along with. We clicked at the engagement shoot, and we soon found that all of the amazing reviews we read about them were true. They had such a calming presence and were very positive, upbeat people. We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID, and even with that and their own stress as a vendor, they made sure we were taken care of and that we were doing okay. They care about their clients and they made that very clear since the beginning. Their talented work is what drew us in, but who they are as people and how professional they are is what would make me hire them a million times more. I have only seen a preview of our wedding photos, and I already know the rest are just as amazing as what I have already seen. We received so many compliments on how organized and smooth everything went photo wise, as I expected it would since that is the same thing I read about them in many reviews before we booked them. Bringing Josh and Alexa on as our wedding day photographers was a non negotiable for me. There are not two more gracious, generous or compassionate people you could find to capture your day. They both have a gift of making you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and have an eye to capture the beautiful and real moments of your wedding. When COVID hit Josh and Alexa were quick to offer their help in whatever way would make the process easiest for us, even offering to travel all the way to North Carolina to capture an intimate family ceremony if thats the direction we chose. We are so thankful for the Adams' and their commitment to so perfectly capturing out day! There really isn't a better photography duo out there.

Choosing Josh & Alexa as our photographers was one of the best (and easiest) decisions we made while planning! I met them when I was a bridesmaid in a wedding they were shooting. The Adams were the best wedding photographers. Getting married during the pandemic there were lots of unknowns and reschedules and the Adams were so easy to work with and we’re totally stress free. When it came to the day of, we were blown away by the Adams. They scouted out or portrait locations, were on time, split up between bride and groom and kept everyone in line. We got all the pictures that we could have ever wanted. When we got the pictures we were so happy with them. Overall, could not recommend the Adams enough. They are super easy to work with, are super organized, exceed our needs and asks, and take great picture. Oh and they are totally reasonably priced. We have already recommended them to all our friends getting married!

The first vendor that I hired for our wedding day was Adams Photography; they came over for coffee and instantly made us feel better about the year of planning ahead and calmed our nerves. I was nervous about all the family photos as we both have very large families, but they got everyone organized and in line with ease. As a winter storm blew in the Friday of our wedding day, Josh and Alexa seamlessly pivoted the night before to get us an inside space for our bridal party photos. We felt like we were hanging out with friends the whole time they were with us and cried when they had to leave. Exactly one year ago today (1/19), I married the love of my life. It was a day that went by far too fast, but thankfully it was a day captured in way that can be relived any moment we wish. From our engagement shoot, to the back and forth communication in preparation for the big day, to the actual Wedding Day itself, no detail went unnoticed. They even were able to sneak us outside to quickly capture a few snowy shots in the frigid cold. They were willing and are wiling to go out of their way to make sure your day is captured just as you'd want it to be. Quickly after our wedding we were sent a few sample shots and to say I was emotionally overwhelmed would be an understatement. They were PERFECT. Every single thing about them. The moments captured, the coloring of it all, the quality of the photos... I realize I don't know much about what goes into photography, but I do know that Josh & Alexa have it down to a perfect science and anyone would be MORE than lucky to have them as their wedding photographers. When we received our entire wedding photo collection (in a very timely manner) we were blown away. It far surpassed anything we could've ever dreamed of, and we already had very high expectations since we knew their work. I am forever grateful I followed my gut instinct. Because from the moment I saw Josh & Alexas work online, I knew that was how our day needed to be captured. Then meeting them in person truly sealed the deal, and to top it all off, to see them shine on our wedding day and be the most professional yet the most heart warningly kind vendor we had... we feel forever blessed. Josh and Alexa were amazing! Not only were the wedding photos they delivered fabulous, but they have professionalism of the highest caliber (and are very friendly too!). There is no situation they haven't seen before, and know exactly what needs to be done to get high quality photos. Since they had never been to our venue, they did some planning and scouted out all the best spots. We could not be happier with the service they delivered and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Alexa and Josh delivered us absolutely stunning photos from our wedding and we could not be happier that we chose them to capture our day. They were so easy to work with and were incredibly professional and accommodating. They were so efficient in capturing every moment, somehow getting the perfect shot every single time. Aside from formal photos, we barely even noticed them being there, perfectly blending in during the ceremony and reception but still able to get photos as if they were right next to you. Also, I sliced my left hand open 3 days before my wedding, leaving a superglued mess behind and they put the extra effort in to make sure that it was edited out of all the photos, which is incredible and not something I expected! If we were doing it all again we would choose them in a heartbeat!

We found Josh & Alexa through my hair salon’s wedding Instagram! We fell in love with their style of photography, and are SO happy they were available for our big day! We found Josh and Alexa through our venues Instagram page and from that moment forward we were nothing but happy working with them! They are truly an incredibly kind couple and incredibly talented photographers! After contacting them, they were very open to meeting with us in person at a location near our home. This was so helpful for a few reasons, we were able to get to know them a little bit and could already tell that we were going to be able to be very comfortable around them and also they were able to show us the completed wedding album of the couple that we had first seen on Instagram that had married at our venue. It was a little bit like looking into the future and it was beautiful! Throughout the whole process they were very quick to respond to any and all questions that we had, including helping us put together a timeline for the day of the wedding. They have such a calming and kind presence while still knowing what the best photos are and directing all people to be in the right place at the right time. They were also really attentive to us. With a late October wedding, my Husband had mentioned that his hands were starting to get cold to no one in particular and within minutes Josh found and handed him gloves. Its the little things like that that just make the day that much more special. We received a preview of the photos the night of the wedding, which was amazing, and the remaining photos ( over 900!) about a month after the wedding and they were all absolutely stunning! All of this was echoed to us by our entire bridal party, parents and families who also really enjoyed working with Adams Photography. One of the bridesmaids has already hired them for her maternity shoot! We truly cant thank them enough for all that they did for us!

After a tedious search to find a husband/wife photography duo, we came across Josh & Alexa on Instagram and immediately fell in love with their style. These two are not only HARD workers, but BEAUTIFUL people - our entire wedding party and family members could not stop raving about them after the wedding! They sent us 50 photos just a couple hours after the reception ended, and the rest (around 1,000) less than a month later. Amazing and sweet couple!!! I honestly don't know what I would've done with them! Alexa and Josh were so professional and helpful throughout the day. We received proofs the night of and the photos were so beautiful!!! I had a little moment when we got a little drizzle in the forecast and they both made me less stressed and problem solved where we can keep dry and still have picture taken. Even with needing help with bustling my dress Alexa helped me out! Josh and Alexa are very talented and beautiful people! I've just only received there proofs so far as it is too early, and people keep telling us how great of a job our photographers did!! I highly recommended Adams photography! I just got married in June and was so excited to finally get the pictures back from the wedding! We were so excited to see how our wedding pictures would be since we had already gotten such wonderful pictures from our engagement photo shoot with them.
