Rory was by far the best DJ ever! The ease of planning with the app he provided was simply amazing! Rory jumped on video calls with me and my wedding planner to talk through the timeline and music, he absoltuely knocked it out of the park! Everyone was commenting how amazing the music was and how beautifully he mixed/transitioned songs, the reception was a MASTERPIECE! Thank you so much Rory for making it our own little dance club for the reception with latin, house, pop, 80's and everything in between. He provided lighting and sound for ceremony as well! I will definitely be calling Rory for future parties!

The convenience of the handy app made the entire process seamless, from the ceremony through to the cocktail hour and reception. Rory demonstrated a keen ability to read the room, ensuring the atmosphere remained lively and engaging throughout the event. Additionally, his skill in connecting our friends to perform our first dance song added a personal touch that we truly appreciated. The dance floor was nothing short of EPIC, thanks to his remixes that had everyone moving. We wholeheartedly recommend DJ Rory Rockalot for any event; his expertise and dedication truly made our celebration unforgettable.

Rory DJ’d our wedding this summer in the South Bay. He did a good job and was very professional and attentive to our preferences. When we wanted to include some fairly esoteric Indian wedding traditions, he was excited for the challenge and handled them perfectly. He clearly cares a lot about his craft and wants to make great music. Logistically, he had us use an app called Vibo to plan out the day and choose music to play during each part. The app was clunky but did help ensure we were all on the same page and used the right music at the right times. Overall, we were pleased with Rory as our wedding DJ.

We contacted Rory to be our Wedding DJ and we were met with nothing but rudeness and a bad attitude. When asked questions he told us we inconvenienced him, by asking basic questions from The Knot. He had such an entitled attitude and was incredibly unpleasant. He says he's the best and said insulted our decision to not hire him.

We hired Rory for our wedding and he was so incredible. Leading up to the wedding he was so helpful and professional. It was very clear that he’s great at his job. Our guests loved his music choices and he was a great MC. I would recommend him for anyones wedding!!

Rory is absolutely amazing at what he does!! He made sure my husband and my big day went smoothly. He is an all around awesome person and I will always recommend him for anyone having an event. He also has me as a forever friend and customer for any event I would possibly need.

During our DJ search, my husband and I both landed on Rory Rockalot. His price was reasonable, and Rory was always very responsive to all my emails and questions. He volunteered to meet us at the venue to get the lay of the land. The day of the wedding the bridal party and my parents were off site. Rory showed up, set up as we agreed upon a few weeks prior. He set up a portable system for the ceremony and played all music as planned! He moved over to the reception and I was very happy to hear songs I requested he play during the cocktail hour and lunch. He was flexible and adjusted the timeline during the reception upon my request multiple times. He has a friendly face and is very professional. We really enjoyed working with him!

Rory was simply amazing! Our special day came with a very unspecial venue change. This added quite a bit of stress as the changes were made the morning before the wedding. Rory not only was flexible with the last minute change, but came out to both of our venues the day before the wedding an put us all at ease. Besides his professional outlook and flexibility the day prior, the day of was great as well. We had several compliments on all the music played at both the ceremony and reception (and I only picked about 8 songs for the entire day). He was able to read our crowd and get a none dancing crowd up! It was great and we had a fabulous time working with him. He also found a way to play every song I wanted played even though I wasn't sure if that would be possible. Rory is worth it! He will make your day that much better and stress free!

DJ Rockalot not only performed at my wedding, but he also officiated the ceremony! He was very helpful and provided great suggestions during the planning of our wedding. We had a blast at our wedding and owe much of that to DJ Rockalot! Thanks Rory
