Ade Events was heaven sent! I honestly don’t know what we would have done, or how we could’ve possibly pulled off such a magnificent traditional Nigerian wedding without her. There... are so many little details that go into planning a wedding that I never even considered, but Addy was always on top of everything: organized, efficient, graceful, and somehow always ten steps ahead.
Over the year we spent planning, Addy didn’t just feel like a planner, she became a trusted friend. She’s such a sweetheart, so easy to work with, and just a pure joy to be around. From the very beginning, she reassured me that I could reach out to her for anything, even just to vent. And I did! She always made time to listen, offer comfort, and bring real solutions. Her calm, positive energy truly helped relieve the stress that can easily take over during wedding planning.
Addy and her team truly made the wedding day so special and completely stress-free. I did not have to worry about a single thing! Everything ran smoothly and on schedule, which allowed me to be present and actually enjoy every single moment. The hair and makeup ladies were right there throughout the day, always ready for any touch-ups, and Addy even had someone there specifically to help me change into each of my dresses. I felt so supported. I literally had help with everything, and it made all the difference.
One of my absolute favorite parts of the entire planning process was the décor. When we first started, I shared my vision of how I wanted the room to look and Ade took those ideas and brought them to life in the most beautiful way. She created mood boards, picked out a stunning color palette, and helped shape every design detail. When I walked into the room on the wedding day, I was blown away. It was everything I imagined and more. Truly unforgettable!
She also found the best vendors, from the décor, to the food, to the photography and videography. She even helped source someone to help choreograph our dance entrance! Like, come on, how amazing is that?!
There are honestly so many incredible things Addy has done for us that I could go on forever. I’m beyond grateful for her heart, her professionalism, and her dedication.
